Ik kan iedereen dit hotel aanbevelen. Vriendelijk, goed ontbijtbuffet, kids blij met een knuffelbeer, attenties die 's avonds werden gebracht. Wij zouden zo nog eens gaan. Perfecte ligging.

When you're travelling about in the Göteborg area and look for a place to stay, think of the Apple Hotel. The advantages surpass the inconveniences by far. The plusses: It's easily accessible, both by car and by tramway; it's relatively cheap; the price includes a well varied breakfast and a quite acceptable evening buffet; the staff is very, very attentive and helpful; it's open 24/24, a staff member being present at the reception desk all the time; it's clean all over the place; the E20 motorway with its heavy traffic and a railroad and a shunting-yard leading just behind the hotel you might expect a noisy and disturbed night's sleep, but the opposite is the case: due to very effective wall and windows insulation you don't hear any traffic noise from outside at all; car parking places for guests are largely available all around the hotel. The minuses: The premises look rather outdated; renovation is recommended (and some improvements are actually under construction indeed); in our room the TV-set was of the smallest possible size (14" or 15"); the number of wall outlets, hardly accessible because they were fitted just above the skirting-board, was absolutely insufficient: all of them were already occupied by the bedhead-lights, TV-set and DVD-player, so in order to charge all our mobile phones, shavers, laptops and other electronic devices we had to transform our room in a darkroom; a ceiling lamp was not provided at all. The Apple Hotel is located about 5 kms from Göteborgs city centre, so it'll take quite a while to get there and transportation by car or tramway is required. But who cares, considering the many advantages? You get what you paid for, maybe even a bit more. So, if you happen to visit Göteborg, just have a try at the Apple Hotel - you won't be disappointed.

Dit hotel biedt geen voorzieningen voor mindervaliden. Selecteer een ander hotel als je een kamer wilt boeken met toegankelijkheidsvoorzieningen.

Excellent service from the front desk does not totally make up for a very small room - unless a "Superior Room - Queen-size Bed" is actually marketing -speak for a single room, in which case it was generous. It is an unashamedly traditional hotel that has been family-owned and run for decades and its style reflects this, but it also lacks some basic […] modern features such as card keys for the doors, rather than having to leave the key at the front desk whenever you go out. Corridors are starting to look tired and need redecoration as well. Breakfast was good but limited, free coffee/tea and cakes in the lobby were very welcome and internet connection was fine. Parking easily available in the municipal car-park just opposite, expensive but available at a 10% discount from the hotel. Noone tells you this when you get there and there is no obvious drop-off parking outside the hotel so difficult to take advantage of unless you know before arriving. Lees meer
"warm, cozy refuge in city center"
We were on a vacation break but needed internet services. Luggage hadn't arrived. Personnel at Royal were very helpful. Facility has modern conveniences but old world charm. Less than five minute walk from central station.

GREAT experience. Very friendly and professional staff, warm welcomes, charming decor, old-world feel, comfortable beds, innovative bathrooms, delicious breakfast. You can't beat the central location, right in the heart of the city and a quick walk to everything you want to see.

Lovely welcoming staff, clean room with comfortable bed, great breakfast and complimentary tea/coffee and cake. All main attractions very near.

"Royal Hotel, Göteborg"
Jättecharmigt hotell mitt i city, gångavstånd till tågstationen och till avenyn. Jättetrevlig och hjälpsam personal gjorde detta familjeägda hotell väldigt trevligt att bo på. Rekommenderas varmt!
