Een gezellig hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijtbuffet is prima. Het hotel is dichtbij het vliegveld en in de omgeving zijn verschillende shopping malls. Wij moesten in het convention centrum zijn en dat was met de auto ongeveer 10 min van het hotel vandaan. Op het terrein van het hotel is een eetgelegenheid en aan de overkant van de weg is een supermarkt.
Ligging.
Howard Johnson Inn Rock Hill ligt in Rock Hill. Plaatselijke bezienswaardigheden zijn onder andere Clinton Junior College en Knights Stadium.
Accommodatievoorzieningen.
Gasten krijgen elke ochtend een gratis ontbijt. Naast een fitnesscentrum en koffie in de lobby heeft Howard Johnson Inn Rock Hill voorzieningen als gratis kranten in de lobby. Draadloos internet is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Parkeren op locatie is gratis.
Hotelkamers.
Howard Johnson Inn Rock Hill heeft 54 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een kluis en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Elke kamer is voorzien van een draadloze internetverbinding. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel. Alle kamers beschikken over een gratis weekkrant en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met gratis lokale gesprekken (hiervoor kunnen beperkingen gelden). Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie en een föhn.

Exactly what we were looking for... cheap, clean, and convenient.

We booked a room for 3 two weeks ahead. When we pulled open the sleeper sofa we found no blanket or pillow in the roon for the bed.We called the front desk and we were asked to go to the lobby to pick up a blanket and a piloow. When I arrived at the lobby I was told that there were no blankets or pillows left,I was told that the Motel was very busy […] and booked up.We luckily had our own pillow and blanket in our vehicle. I would think that a room booked for three would have sheets,pillows and blankets for all three people. After we checked out and arrived at our destination we realized we had left a pair of ladies pants in the room. We called and were told that there were no pants in the lost and found. The maid who cleaned our room was not working that day so we were told that after she could be reached,we would recieve a call.We did recieve a call and were told that no articles of clothing were found. Good room, booked a double queen and was surprised to find a microwave and minifridge in the room. Beds were average. The only complaint that I have(and it is frequent for me in all hotels) is that the shower is very short(I am 6'4"), shower hit me at the shoulder and was just tall enough for me to stand in and wash my hair. If you are six foot or less, […] then it is an excellent shower. Roomy space for spreading out. We used the hotel as a one night stop, but I would be comfortable in this room for as long as three nights. Excellent place for an overnight break on longer travel. Lees meer
"Clean, as expected for old hotel, inexpensive"
clean with and updated bathroom. just fine for overnight stay while travelling. free breakfast was a nice bonus. Rooms small with outside access only and a little noisy if you have loud neighbors as you would expect for an inexpensive motel.

In all the conditions were fair. I had requested a late mid-afternoon check-out and was told I would be accommodated. After checking in I was told I had to be out by noon. there was no compromise. I was there on business and woulkd have liked to shower and change before my 3 hour ride home. I even offered to pay and additional fee and was refused. While we stayed there for 4 nights, we had to call the front desk and get clean towels two nights, and one day the cleaning staff didn't even bother to clean the room or make the beds. To add insult to injury, the cleaning staff passed us as we left the rom, and then when we complained, told the manager that we were lying and they had made up the room. "HoJo a good deal for short stay."
I was greeted by a very accommodating clerk, John, I think. The room was clean and comfortable, quiet and dark. I fell right to sleep which is my goal. My other goal is to make it down to breakfast on time. Pretty good for a free continental, but the breakfast room is small, and it gets rather cozy with all those hungry guests milling about. But everyone […] was gracious to each other as we waited in line for waffles :). "Convenient, clean and high value for the money."
The facility is easy to find, easy to access from I77, and well lit at night. The room was clean and comfortable. The mattress was near new and the bedding was clean. Did not notice any noise. Pillows were however low end as were the sheets. Breakfast was surprisingly good, just like the more expensive hotels.

Stopped here on my drive from FL to PA. Room was comfortable & quiet. Everything was in order. No problems. Dining area for breakfast was a bit small but for a quick stop, rest and meal to get you started this was just right!!

The location was okay but upon arrival at the hotel, staff was friendly and helpful. My room was freshly painted and clean. Everything was spotless. I slept very well. I would most definitely stay again.

The room was clean, desk personnel nice; but I guess we should have expected the noise from other guests given the location and price. 'Neighboring' guests came and went multiple times during the night and were very loud about it. Wouldn't stay there again.

I spent one night at this hotel which is located off a frontage road to the interstate. The king mattress was so comfortable! Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. Great to have microwave and frig in room. Front desk clerk friendly and efficient.

I chose this hotel because it was close to the activities my family would be attending. It was very easy to find, accessible to the interstate, and had many convenient places nearby to eat and shop. The breakfast the hotel provided had a nice variety of choices, both for food and beverage. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The foam […] pillows were a little lumpy, but adequate, and not a deal-breaker. We were able to easily access Wi-fi from the room. We made use of the refrigerator and microwave in the room. "Comfortable room"
It was a very comfortable room. Comfortable bed. The only negative was the bathroom. I don't think it was cleaned. There was dirt and lint in the corners of the floor, a dried drip in front of the toilet and hair and a ring in the bathtub. But overall it was nice.

This hotel was completely adequate - the staff was friendly, the room was spacious and clean, the water hot, and I enjoyed my hot waffle at breakfast. The price was really great. very satisfy with the quality for the price. most hotel with this price range, the room really uncomfortable. but this hotel room is clean, well organized. a lot of place to put our clothes and personal goods. staff very easy to work with when have problems, they are very friendly. overall, great location, great price, and nice service.
"Worth it for the price"
Good news is rooms in the hotel were being revamped during my stay. I stayed in one of the newly painting rooms. Still hadn't completed put runners along bottom of wall in bathroom, but was clean. Had plenty of hot water and it's nice that they offer breakfast to guests each morning. I would stay here again when coming to the area.

Very nice stay. They are renovating now and even my old room was quite nice. The woman at the front desk was great. She hand wrote directions to Walmart for me. Perfect for a one night stay as I was on my way to Florida.

Hojo's staff and accomodations were nice. I would definitely recommend the franchise to someone and will keep it in mind when I travel in the future. One negative, the internet was extremely inconsistent. Spend some money to upgrade your network system.

"Disappointment"
We have stayed here before during Christmasville weekend. Upon checkin we found fresh snail trails on our sheets(they had not been changed from previous occupant). There were also dirty towels in the bathroom. The neighbors were noisy. Our past encounters with this motel have been quite positive.

"HOJO in Rock Hill"
This was a restful, quiet stay. The front desk people were very nice, and it had all the amenities we needed for being in town to visit my niece and her family. If you just need a comfortable place to sleep while in route traveling or visiting relatives this place is perfectly adequate. The rooms was clean, had cable TV, a hair dryer, good house keeping […] service, and the complimentary breakfast was very good. Can't beat the price either. Lees meer
We were very happy with the rooms after having traveled for hours. We ran very late and were pleased with very clean and comfortable accommodations. The breakfast was adequate although the table area was small and crowded be 8:30am.

Hotel was okay for the price paid, but don't stay here if you're wanting a good night sleep - walls are thin, you can hear all outside noise, guest hang out on balcony all night partying and the pillows feel like chopped up foam. We had a great Stay. Close to Carowinds. We had a problem with safe maintenance came right down & fixed issue. Everyone was friendly. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. We had a great stay for the $. The Free Breakfast was pretty good too.
