Hotel Schloessle in Tallinn

The staff, service, location and fantastic oldy worldy charm of this lovely little hotel make it a fantastic bolthole - an ideal base from which to see the beautiful and ancient centre of Tallinn. If I return to the city I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

I specifically asked if every room had a bath tub and I was told yes, but when I arrived it never had a bath tub. I was dissapointed but dint make it an issue as the staff & hotel was very very beautiful.

We arrived very early in the morning, and the reception couldn't have been any nicer. They held our bags while we went sightseeing. When we came back later that day, our bags had been delivered to our room. We were given a complimentary room upgrade on arrival. The hotel is beautiful and full of history. The amazing location is close to everything in […] Old Town. However, the location is nice and quiet. We were able to open our window and have a peaceful sleep. They kindly made a dinner recommendation and made the reservation for us. When we returned that night, the bed had been turned down. We had bottled water and chocolates on the nightstand. Each side of the bed had a foot towel laid out with slippers waiting for us. In the morning, the hotel had a cold breakfast buffet and a menu to choose hot items. I can't fault this hotel, it is simply wonderful and the location is stunning. The staff are discreet but always on hand to offer recommendations on attractions and local transport. I would certainly stay there again.

A haven of luxury and excellent service in the heart of Tallinn old town. If you are planning to visit Tallinn you won't go wrong with this hotel

A lovely hotel right in the heart of the Old Town in Tallinn. It is on a quiet street only 2 minutes from the town square. We found the reception staff to be very helpful, nothing appeared to be any trouble. The room was very clean, and serviced regularly by housekeeping (even providing bottled water and an apple for each of us each evening). My only […] comment on the room is that the hairdryer was one of those attached to the wall in the bathroom (not much use in a bathroom after a shower - ladies will understand!). Breakfast (included in the room rate) was served downstairs in the restaurant and was very nicely prepared. There is a small sauna available at no charge in the mornings or for a small fee later on in the day. We did use this, and despite having booked our 'slot' (it is for your sole use when you have it booked), I think they had forgotten to start it and so we had to wait for it to be ready. A minor fault. It would be nice to have some more comfortable chairs down in the sauna area to relax in as you are in and out of the sauna. Overall a beautiful hotel that we would highly recommend to any of our friends or family. We would return here if we revisited Tallinn! Lees meer

Hotel interior was very pleasant, staff at reception were exceptional, restaurant staff was good. Cleaning the room was slow. Restaurant prices were high in regards to what was served, but the chef was very proud of his presentation of food.

Our stay at this hotel was a highlight of our trip. Beautiful,filled with beautiful people. Very polite, and professional and helpful. Warm and friendly. Enjoyed coffee brought to our room every morning and private sauna after. We stayed and extra night.

A cosy and well appointed hotel very well situated for sight-seeing in the old town. We found the staff extremely polite and helpful but possibly a little over the top when the men had to stand up once you approached the reception area.... we felt unneccessary. Obviously this is how they are trained. We were looking forward to dinner in the lovely restuarant […] but cancelled as whereas the food prices were reasonable, the cost of the very cheapest wine was in excess of 30 Euros!! I'm sure we ate just as well elsewhere as well as enjoying wines at least 30% less expensive. Breakfast was very good however as we didn't fancy wine that early in the day...... Min venninne og jeg hadde bestemt oss for en langweekend i Tallinn. Denne gangen var det også full enighet om at vi skulle bo på dette hotellet. Vi ble like fornøyde med dette oppholdet, som vi har vært ved de tidligere anledningene. Personalet er blide, hyggelige og veldig serviceminded. De gjorde alt de kunne for at vårt opphold skulle bli så hyggelig […] som mulig. Kommer til å booke dette hotellet ved neste anledning også. Lees meer

Utmärkt läge, gammalt hus med charm, utmärkt service, vackra stora rum, rent, tyst och ändå bara hundra meter från Rådhusplatsen. En pärla!

Henkilökunta puhuu hyvää englantia,tullessamme tarjottiin kuppi kuumaa sisäänkirjoittautumisen alkajaisiksi.Huone kaunis,rauhallinen eikä lämpötilassa ollut valittamista (ulkona -20C). Vastaanotto kyseli ravintolatoiveistamme ja suositteli joitakin sekä teki pöytävarauksen. Vastaanotossa henkilöt nousivat aina seisomaan, kun tulimme kohdalle. Aamiaisella […] vaihdettiin puhdas kuppi, kun tarjottiin lisää kahvia. Aamupalan lämpimän osuuden sai tilata listalta, ei ruuhkaa eikä tungosta, takassa paloi tuli, ravintola oli tosi romanttinen. Ei mitään negatiivista sanottavaa.Suosittelemme., oli sitä mitä 5 tähteä edellyttää. Lees meer

Hotelli oli viihtyisä, kodikas ja tyylikäs. Palvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä. Menen varmasti uudelleenkin. Ainoa pieni miinus oli huoneen viileys.

Jos hotellissa on viiden tähden luokitus, siltä odottaa parasta kaikessa. Palvelu pelasi, mutta esim. huone, jonka saimme oli sviitti. Tosin mielikuvani 5 tähden sviitistä vanhassa kaupungissa on selkeästi suurempi, kiehtovampi ja siellä on jo valmiiksi riittävän lämmin. Siellä on ehkä jotain kivaa huikeata odottamassa jne.. Privaatti aamusauna oli […] oikein kiva, vaikka suihku siuhki minne sattuu, toisella suihkulla homma kuitenkin hoitui ja vaikka löylykipossa ei ollutkaan enää kahvaa, se saatiin kannettua saunaan asti. Skumppa aamiaisella oli ilahduttava extra. Asiakaspalveluun oli selkeästi panostettu. Jos aamusaunaa ja skumpaa ei välttämättä kaipaa, ei ehkä kannata maksaa 50% extraa viidestä tähdestä neljän sijaan.. Kokemus oli kuitenkin miellyttävä. Lees meer

Vid vår senaste vistelsepå detta hotell råkade vi ut för en tragisk händelse. Att någon på ett hotell överhuvudtaget skulle hjälpa oss på det sätt man gjorde är oöverträffat. Mina varmaste rekommedationer Schlössle slår allt vi har varit med om

I had planned a relaxing weekend in Tallinn with my gf. Since we have stayed at this hotel before then it wasn't difficult for us to choose this hotel again. The service level in this hotel is just superb. Staff is so eager to make sure that Your stay will be as good as possible. There is nothing that I can complain about. They told me that the hotel […] was fully booked this weekend, but it was still very peaceful and quiet there all our stay. So if You want a very good place to stay for a weekend in Tallinn, then make sure that You check here first. I can really recommend it, and I will go to stay there next time I am in Tallinn too. Отличное расположение, великолепное обслуживание, прекрасный ресторан. Номер маленький (№ 8) и не соответствует ни категории отеля, ни разумному соотношению цена-качество.

Hotelli Schloesslen palvelu oli erinomaista, huone kertakaikkiaan miellyttävä ja rauhallinen siitä huolimatta että hotelli sijaitsee vilkkaimman turistikadun tuntumassa vanhassa kaupungissa ja matkamme ajoittui keskelle kesän sesonkia.

Aivan ihana miljöö ja sisäpiha. Kaunis romanttinen huoneisto ja valoisa hyvä kylpyhuone. TV ja musiikki yms muut viihde electroniikka ok. Henkilökunta palveluhenkistä ja ystävällistä. Vierailumme aikana oli kesän kuumin helle josta johtuen lämpötila sisällä oli aivan huikea ja ilmastoinnin puute iso miinus. Muuten aivan fantastinen tunne asua Tallinnan […] vanhassa kaupungissa keskellä kaupungin parhaita kauppoja ja ravintoloita sekä nauttia historiallisista nähtävyyksistä kävelymatkan etäisyydeltä! vierailu hotellissa oli kaikin puolin hyvä Ainoastaan lähtöpäivänä nauttimamme yhteensä 2-kuppia kahvia maksoin 16 !! Hinta oli älyttömän kallis

Varasin matkan Tallinnaan 22.3-24.3 aikavälille, ajattelin että pieni miniloma naisen kanssa rauhoittaa. En kertonut varaamaatani 5 tähden hotellista, hän rakastui hotelliin oitis lisäkseni. Todella hyvä hovimainen palvelustyyli, rakennus aivan mahtava vanhoine hienouksineen, Priva-"pihasaunan" vuokraus maksoi 16€, todella pieni raha niin hienosta kokemuksesta […] koko illan kestäneestä nauttimisesta keskellä vanhaa Tallinnaa omassa rauhassa. Niin paljon huippujuttuja ettei kaikkia jaksa kertoa. Aamupala todella hieno kokemus, omista posliinikannuista kaadettiin kahvia, uskomattoman kauniissa ja tunnelmallisessa kellarikerroksessa. Toki aamupalan hinta oli 25€ nuppi 2x2yötä=100€, mut Hotels.comin kautta kuului tarjoukseen mikä oli paljon edullisempi jo huonevarauksen kanssa. Paljon hienoja hotelleja nähneenä Schlössle 1-3 sijoille meni. Hieno kokemus 30-kymppiselle pariskunnalle joka haki rentoutumis, soppailu breikkiä. Onnistui 10+ arvosanalla. Denne perle af et hotel kan så absolut anbefales. Vidunderligt lille smuk og charmerende hotel i hjertet af Tallinns gamle bydel. Servicen er helt i top og hele personalet yder en meget personlig og venlig betjening. Alt er smagfuldt og lækkert, og morgenmaden under de vælvede lofter et hit. Et veldig sjarmernde og koselig hotell. Personalet og den servicen de ytet fra første stund var helt upåklagelig. Det var nesten ikke måte på hvor mye de skulle hjelpe til med. Snakket meget godt engelsk, hvilket gjorde kommunikasjonen enkel. Veldig stille på hotellet. Frokosten var meget god. Vietimme täydellisen romanttisen getawayn lumisessa Tallinnassa. Keskiaikaiseen rakennukseen remontoitu Shloessle oli tunnelmallinen ja persoonallinen hotelli vanhan kaupungin sydämessä. Eksklusiivinen, mutta kivalla tavalla kotoisa. Etenkin aamiainen hotellin hopealusikoin palkitussa ravintolassa jäi mieleen.

Et romantisk lite hotell midt i gamlebyen. Fascinerende bygning med spiserom under buede kjellervelvinger i naturstein. Topp servicenivå fra de unge medarbeiderne til alle døgnets tider. Topp kvalitet på romfaciliteter. Med beliggenhet i gamlebyen har du kort gangvei til sentrum i denne bydel med restauranter og severdigheter. Men også kort vei til […] sentrum i det moderne Tallinn. Jeg hadde fødselsdag under oppholdet og ble beæret med sjokoladekake til frokost og en kjøler med musserende vin på rommet. Neste tur til Tallinn går til dette hotellet! Lees meer

Sehr gut gelegen in der Altstadt von Tallinn aber trotzdem ruhig in einer Seitengasse( ca. 200m zum Rathausplatz) Sauberkeit und Service waren ausgezeichnet. Die Bewirtung im Garten leider etwas langsam ( vielleicht lag dies aber an der Hitze) das Frühstücksbuffett war nicht dem Rest des Hotels würdig und Mangel an frischem Obst durch die Ausgezeichneten […] Fachkräfte im Hotel und die Lage vergisst man jedoch sehr schnell dieses Frühstück Das Hotel Schloessle kann ich empfehlen und werde auch selber nochmals dorthin reisen karlo Lees meer
