We stayed for 2 nights. Clean room, good bed, got a room with balcony, friendly staff, light breakfast. Safe area!

We had a wonderful stay. The convenience of the hotel was perfect.....lots o good eating places in the surrounding area. Our stay was wonderful

Small hotel and small rooms but that's typical of Venice. Great location. Easy to get to from the train station and easy to find!! Fruit market right in front of the hotel had delicious tangerines!

I really liked everything about this hotel. On the evening I arrived, the reception girl even helped me take my suicase up the many stares. Everyone was very freindly and helpful (especially the night receptionist girl!), room was comfortable and very clean. They even payed attention to small details in decoration and hospiality (chocolate on the pillows […] when I arrived, tissue box next to the bed, tastfully packed shampoos and even a sawing kit!) which I found welcoming. Also, it was super easy to find the hotel from the railway station (which is not a small thing in labirint Venice - I saw so many tourist with suitcases desperatly looking for their hotel in Venice to give blessings for the location of this hotel!). Pleasent suprise was that the breakfast was much bigger than just classic continental and had really good choices and gooooood coffee. For me it was not really a problem to climb all the stares to the third floor, but I guess for someone elder it migt be a problem that there is no lift in the hotel. Hotel is in a typical small building in Venice, with tipical narow starecase, and it is decorated in Venitian style. Location is just 5 minutes walk from S. Lucia railway station, 7 minutes from Rialoto bridge, there are small shops all around and a big supermarket close by . Vaporeto on Canal grande is just around the corner and S. Marco is about 15 minute walk away. I was able to leave my suitcase in a safe back room at the arival and leaving. Lees meer

Good Location & Nice Breakfast, but small dining room

Who goes to Venice to stay in a hotel room BUT I know there are some basics travelers do need. Location: excellent, the hotel is walking distance from the train and bus stations so this was a plus. There were plenty of places to eat and shop as well just outside the door of the hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room is small but you feel […] like you're in Venice (People with big luggage, it will be a very very tight fit, we only had backpacks)! Bathroom shower is small but my 6 foot, 190lb husband fit in it (tight fit but he made it). They had an unnecessary continental breakfast, it was included so we ate it but it was pretty much bread and coffee. We also found a pair of black ladies underwear on top of the closet- my husband spotted it out because of his height, to us it was amusing but I can see others may get grossed out. Overall I would recommend this place but I hope you don't pay too much Lees meer

There was hair in the bath tub and on the blanket. I'm very sensitive to things like that. If you are like me, I don't recommend this hotel.

10 min walk from s. Lucia railway station and Venice bus station. Nice and cozy. Clean. TV didnt work, but it's all Italian anyway. 5 min walk to nearest boat station. Right next to nice cafes and restaurants.

This is a budget hotel where the shower is shared. The shower was cold at night and although we booked a double bed - we got two single beds put together. Staff were decent. Best thing about the hotel was the price and it was v near the train station, saying that I would probably try something else next time

other then the lack of America TV channels this Hotel was great!!

The location of the Hotel Alle Guglie is very close to the railroad station and two vaporetto stations, one of which offers superb (and inexpensive) transportation to/from Marco Polo Airport. The room was very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The breakfasts were very good. The only downside we noted was that our room (and shower!) was small and […] there was no elevator. I stayed here for a few days in May and it was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was nice and clean. The location of the hotel was perfect - it's a 5 minute walk from the Santa Lucia Train Station (ideal as we took a train to explore Verona for the day) and within 20 minutes walking distance of St. Marks Square. Hotel was old, dated and not as advertised in the pictures. The night staff person was pleasant but one in the morning was rude. The room and bathroom were clean (we did kill two bugs in the bathroom thought) but the bathroom was tiny and the shower the size of a phone booth. There was no toliet paper holder so they just set the paper on top of the […] toliet which is gross. The furniture in the room was worn and beat up, the room dark and depressing. The stairs going up to our room were very dirty and the little lobby on our floor had two chairs which were very stained and a huge hole and water stain on the ceiling. While I realize that in Venice it is hard to remodel, they could replace the furniture. Small selection at breakfast and its in a small room and doesn't start till 8am. One of the days we asked for a wake up call at 6:30 and never got it, we woke up on our own and as we were walking out the door a little before 8 they called with the wake up call-no apology when we complained. We were given a room in the building next door which I was told were the superior rooms! I asked since we were next door were the pictures on the website of those rooms in the other building and was told that all hotels put only the best room on the site and it is never accurate. Not true of our hotels in Rome, Florence or Trieste they all looked the same as the websites pictures. It is close to the train station but that is the only plus. It's also the little things that make a stay unpleasant like, no english channels or charging for a map of the city when every other hotel in Italy that we stayed at (4 others) offer free maps, wake up call issues, unfriendly staff, etc. Stay somewhere else. If you have luggage I wouldn't recommend staying here as you have to lug it up a lot of stairs. We were here just over night so it wasn't too much of a problem but the location isn't great if you really want to explore Venice. I was with my senior parents and I wouldn't recommend anyone with mobility issues booking this place. The night staff was friendly […] but upon checkout the woman was slightly rude. The water bus is conveniently located but when they say they have an airport shuttle, it's an exaggeration at best. Lees meer

Hotel was clean and friendly ,got there early and they stored our bags till check in . Pay a little extra and get the bigger room if there are two of you .Breakfast is simple but adequate for italy . close to all venues easy walk to Rialto and St Mark's.Great value.

We were three adults in our early 40's that chose this hotel due to it's location from both the Airport that we arrived (Venice - Marco Airport) and the Train station (Venice). AC in Europe is the same everywhere - so do NOT expect a COLD room if it's hot. It is bearable but as most hotels - even high end ones in Italy the rooms are not cold. The […] room itself was nice. Expect to carry your bags up stairs. Some rooms can be very high up - so if you are an older traveler - expect to carry your bags. I'm not sure if they have anyone to bring them up - but we were capable of doing this on our own. Breakfast was "OK", and nothing to write home about. When traveling to Venice - just expect to be there to have the experience and NOT the food. A day or two is plenty to spend there in my opinion. I was in Venice about 15 years ago and I felt the city was just loosing its charm and was just one major tourist trap. So go and enjoy the architecture and the history, because if you expect to get a taste of the "Italian" culture - your visiting the wrong place. The Hotel was great for us to catch the train just down the road (10 min walk). Their is a boat that will stop at the Guigle area that takes about 40 minutes from the airport which is a great experience rather than by cab. Lees meer

Easy to get to from the train station, most of desk staff very pleasant. Room larger than expected as so many comments about Italy indicated rooms very small. (We had 3, and each of us had equivalent of what would be called a twin bed in U.S.) The downfall was that the street vendors disassembled their stand late at night and reassembled early in morning, […] and the noise made it difficult to sleep. The staff in this hotel were uniformly eager to help and very informed about Venice, and the location is close to the station and to water bus stops. As expected, the room we had was small, but in this case almost unmanageably so. If you're visiting Venice for the hotel room, stay somewhere else; if you want a room essentially as a place to sleep, this […] one's o.k. I recently stayed there in August, which is a veryyy hot month. The AC on and off button is controlled by the front desk but once we asked them to turn it on, it stayed on until we left the hotel room. One male staff member went above and beyond - he found us a converter when ours broke, really took his time in answering our questions and best of all […] was so nice!! One male staff member was unpleasant but the nice one made up for it. There is free internet!! Which itself makes it a great hotel because there are no english channels. We really liked this hotel. Don't be dissuaded by it's location near the "Jewish Ghetto"...as it is actually in a great location! There are vendors right in front and it is a short 10 min walk (with bags) from the train station. The staff was very helpful and they maintained a very clean hotel. There is a water-bus point just outside the hotel and many, […] many restaurants in the surrounding area. Dated room. No English TV channels. The only upside was the location somewhat close to the train station. I paid a lot less at another hotel in Venice which was so much nicer!!

Our room was on a lower floor, so we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was satisfactory. The location was great because we were close enough to action, but still had a quiet room. A great experience. We would gladly return!

This hotel is in a good location for accessing all areas of Venice. Beware the church bells that ring every half hour though, not for light sleepers who want to sleep late.

there were two doors to the hotel, one led to nothing..was a bit confusing. room was ok, though pretty ugly. i did like that they had free wifi which was usable in our room. i came out for breakfast about 5 minutes late and even though all the stuff was still out, she wouldnt let me take anything... other than that, this was the only one of 4 hotels […] we stayed in on our travels that actually had a working AC. thank god. Прекрасное отношение персонала. Узкие крутые лестицы - для некоторых это существенно. С точки зрения пожаробезопасности - очень много ковровых и тканевых настенных покрытий, видимо - экономия на ремонте. Выглядит отлично, пока не пощупаешь и не задумаешься, а вдруг искра...

Un hotel simple, pequeño que la fachada engaña. Por dentro funcionarios muy amables y habitaciones sin lujo mas confortables y con todo lo necesario para descansar. Desayuno delicioso mas no para los golosos. Funcionarios muy amables y atenciosos. El precio es optimo para la epoca que visitamos (invierno)

Останавливались в декабре два раза по пути в Сирмионе и обратно. Отель расположен недалеко от вокзала на оживленной улице. Уютный, тихий. На обратном пути в комнате было холодно.

Personnel très sympatique et très accueillant. L'hotel est très bien situé et est très agréable.

Hotel é bem antigo e um pouco distante do estacionamento da cidade então ficou um pouco complicado levar as malas na mão até ele. O pessol é bem prestativo e o café da manha é bom fica bem localizado.

ローマ広場から徒歩15分ほどに位置するホテルで、看板が出ていますが最初見つけにくかったです。通りに野菜や果物が売っている市場の近くです。部屋の内装はきれいで、ロビーや共有の場所もイタリアチックで良かったです。海外のホテルなので仕方ないですが、アメニティーが整っていないのが残念でした。歯ブラシ、石鹸、シャンプー、スリッパは備え付けがありません。朝食もまあまあで、家庭的なかんじがしました。サンマルコ広場やリアルト橋まで歩いて15分ほどで行ける距離にあり、治安も良さそうです。

Et lite og koselig hotell, badet var helt nyoppusset og utrolig fint. Grei frokost. Vi fikk rom høyt oppe, litt trange ganger opp, og i tillfelle brann følte jeg meg ikke trygg, så det trekker litt ned, jeg syns nødutgangene var litt langt unna. Super beliggenhet, vi tok gondol 20 meter fra hotellet.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen, nur 5min. zu Fuß vom Bahnhof und mit einer tollen Pizzeria direkt neben an. Insgesamt ist es nicht so voll wie direkt am Rialto und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Hotel ist sauber und die Angestellten nett, aber es befinden sich 4 kleine Zimmer direkt auf der Etage, in der das Frühstücksbuffet stattfindet. Warum diese […] immer zuerst vergeben werden, ist uns ein Rätsel. Die Wände sind superdünn, jedoch war es relativ ruhig und angenehm. Unser Zimmer hatte nur Blick zur Seitenstraße und man konnte sich darin kaum umdrehen. Für den Preis aber okay, da sauber und modern. Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. Lees meer

Tarif très abordable en réservant 3 jours avant le départ à la mi-octobre. A quelques pas de l'arrêt Guglie avec les lignes 41 et 42, 51 et 52. A 10 minutes à pied de la station de bus et 5 minute de la gare. Chambre au 3è étage sans ascenseur, mais belle surface et belle salle d'eau. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Très bon rapport qualité/prix, hotel très bien situé près de la gare et dans un quartier très commerçant - Le vaporetto n'est pas loin pour se rendre à la Place St. Marc - Le personnel est très qualifié et toujours près à aider et à répondre aux questions - Le petit déjeuner est également très copieux - En bref je recommande cet hotel -

The Hotel Alle Guglie is conveniently located not far from the railway station and on the way to Rialto and S.Marco. It is also easy to find. Tne room we were given was not large, but very clean and nicely furnished, clearly recently renovated (the bathroom was brand new). We spent only one night and did not have any special needs, but we noticed […] that the staff at the reception desk and the waitress at brekfast were very kind and friendly. I'll certanly keep it in mind for my next visit to Venice. Lees meer
