Centrally located, rooms with character (as the rest of the hotel), friendly service, free wifi; very good.

Very nice hotel, great breakfast. Some hotel staff not very friendly. Shower head in room was terrible otherwise room was clean and comfortable.

We are a group of four girls, the hotel nicely provided two connected rooms. Very friendly staff. Location fairly close to many tourist sights. Neighbourhood seems somehow rough, but we feel safe to walk around after sunset.

Once inside the Classical Baby Grand, I was completely charmed by the whimsical decor and the very helpful staff. The breakfast was really good. It's walking distance to the Acropolis and right near a metro station. On the other hand...taking a taxi in at night, we saw hookers 1 block from the hotel and drug deals immediately beside. In the daytime, […] junkies sleep in doorways in the immediate vicinity. A 5-minute walk takes you to a part of town with a better feel. Be careful in the Omonia neighborhood at night!

The hotel itself is very nice, originally decorated, and comfortable. However, the surrounding neighborhood is dangerous, especially at night...

We spent one night at the Classical Baby Grand and would happily do so again. Convenient location within walking distance of the major sites and very close to the Metro station. Great service and helpful staff!

Lovely furnishings, good b'fast. Service a bit lack-lustre. Situated in a dodgy area, full of drug addicts and prostitutes - take care at night!

Great for families too. Consider booking with breakfast inc. as it is quite expensive. Same goes with buying drinks in nearby shops or kiosks.

What I didn't like: -Slow Elevator -Druggies nearby -The line between Omonia station and Montasteri square was closed, making the location slightly less convenient -shower was bad even for european standards. -hotel staff gave me wrong bus station address for trip to Souion. All that being said I thought the hotel staff was very good and the hotel […] was a great value. The breakfast was nice and they gave us a free upgrade to the junior suite which had a view of the parthenon. I would stay here again and recommend others to do the same. Lees meer

Stayed for 9 nights; the hotel is great. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and staff really helpful. Omonia square isn't as bad as other reviewers say, it is only 1 10 minute walk to Syntagma, and not too far away from Acropolis.

Good location to all the sights and convenient to Metro. Neighborhood on one side towards the closest Metro stop was a little seedy at night, but felt safe walking just not the night spots I would frequent. Other side walking to main attractions was perfectly safe and busy with shops, restaurants and places I would walk into. Hotel staff was great in […] hotel and restaurant, friendly and helpful. This is only a 3 star hotel. Old interior, furnature, lights,carpet etc. Reception is very cooperative and helping. Toiletries are less. Location is good, close to rail station, bus station, tours, supermarket, shopping center etc.

believe all the reviews when they say this is a seedy location. At the subway station in the early morning i was approached by numerous people trying to sell me drugs and we witnessed some drug use just walking from the station to the hotel. This is a very nice hotel that is unfortunately located in a not-so-nice area. It seems that Athinas street has deterioted over time and has a lot of immigrants that crowd the area. The room was large and had a funky hand painted mural on the wall. It is centrally located and about a 12 minute walk to Syntagma square. I explorered the major ancient sites (and the anthenian streets along the way) on foot, because they were an easy 30-40 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel buffet Breakfast is good (and cheaper) if you include it in your booking, but you can buy it separately each morning. Beautiful hotel rooms. Excellent location. Excellent service. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Very satisfied with everything. We will definitely stay there next time. The staff that cleaned the rooms were extremely friendly and accomodating.

Too bad

This hotel has a weird artsy feel in each room. Interesting, but a little weird as well. The location is very close to the main plaka district area for walking, shopping, and eating. The service was very good at this hotel and the beds were very comfortable. Got a great night of sleep!

Our actual room was very cool. Super design-ey, etc. But the rest of the hotel left a lot to be desired. Champagne bar was closed all 4 days we were there. Restaurant was closed too. We had to go on a wild hunt to get someone to serve us a drink at the bar. In fact, the only action we saw at the hotel was a night they had it closed off for a private […] corporate party. Drinks, mini bar, room service prices are ridiculous. I travel a lot and am accustomed to expensive room service but 14 euro for a can of heineken? Location was central but in a bad neighborhood. Bra hotell som håller hög standard med gångavstånd till Atens sevärdheter och med närhet till både metro och flygbuss.

minus: 2 plus opredning istedet for værelse med 3 senge. måtte be om kingsize seng i nr. 2 værelse selvom det var bestilt i forvejen plus: Der var stor velvillighed til at ændre til kingsize seng mens opredning blev kompenseret med 1 flaske rødvin.

Mycket prisvärt hotell med trevlig personal. Lite långsam service i restaurangen och en garderobsdörr som trilskas är det enda som inte var perfekt.

Hotel molto bello, pulito, organizzato, personale gentile, camera bella e comoda, di dimensioni decenti, bagno pulito e spazioso. Un po' care e scarse le bevande del frigo bar. Note dolenti: il quartiere. Mamma mia. Io sono uno che ne ha viste di cotte e di crude, ho girato il mondo, non mi scandalizzo per niente. Ma se non avete un pelo sullo stomaco […] grosso quanto un tram, la zona attorno a questo ottimo albergo non vi renderà per nulla felici. Tossicodipendenti che si "fanno" allegramente in mezzo alla strada a tutte le ore, prostituzione, spaccio, gente di malaffare, insomma, dire pessimo sarebbe un dolce eufemismo. Je trouve que la chambre était très correcte, vaste, avec une terrasse, une entrée et une belle salle de bain (pas assez claire car ampoules beaucoup trop faibles) et enfin un équipement électronique satisfaisant, TV et lecteur de CD ! Par contre l'isolation sonore est faible et on est dérangé jour et nuit par la circulation automobile. Le hall d'accueil, […] le salon et la salle à manger sont particuliers avec un côté un peu baroque : ils ne donnent pas une impression de luxe mais sont finalement plutôt sympathiques. Le quartier justifie à lui seul le prix relativement abordable du séjour. En effet, l'hôtel est situé juste à côté de la place Omonia (pratique à cause du métro) mais qui a continué à se dégrader au fil des ans. Les trottoirs y sont sales et le quartier est fréquenté par des commerçants très très bas de gamme (style puces) ou à la sauvette et juste à côté de l'hôtel par des dizaines d'individus à la dérive, sans abri, victimes de la drogue, qui passent la nuit sur place. Donc un séjour qui, avec enfants (j'étais avec ma fille de douze ans), devenait difficile. Je recommande donc l'hôtel pour qui souhaite un très bon niveau de confort mais n'attache pas trop d'importance à l'environnement visuel et sonore !... Lees meer

특가상품 구입해서 4박 이용 시설은 그럭저럭 괜찮은편임 한국의 좋은 모텔을 연상시킴 ㅋ 알고보니 꽤 큰 체인호텔임 주변에 시장있고-시장이 끝나면 상인들이 모여서 술을마시는지 처음엔 밤에 도착해서 노숙자 집단으로 오해함. 하긴 주변에 노숙도 있어보임 옴모니아역에서 도보로 3분

Superb hotel, nice, clean and great service. Walking disance to everyhing worth visiting in Central athens (Akropolis - Parthenon, Psiri, Syntagma Square, shopping streets etc). Pricing in the hotel was great, the cheapest food (and great food) we had in the hotel. First drinks on the house when your a guest. Only minus is the area, Omonia, it's the […] worst part of Athens. Cet hôtel est facile d'accès, proche du métro. Le service est de très bonne qualité. La décoration est très sympa. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet très bien garnie. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Les réceptionnistes sont très sympathiques et très accueillants, l’hôtel en lui même est très bien situé ; nous sommes proches de nombreux moyens de transports nous permettant d'aller là où nous voulons, les chambres sont très jolies ( toutes possédant un décor différent ) et propres, les prix du service-room sont satisfaisants.... La seule chose que […] je pourrai reprocher c'est le fait que nous n'ayons pu avoir accès à la piscine, celle-ci étant en réparation... Un Hotel dans lequel je retournerai sans hésiter !!!!!! Ret sjovt og funky hotel eks. med Morris Minis som receptions desks:-) Alt er absolut i orden og fungerer fint. Ligger super, lidt Vesterbro agtigt, tæt på det store fisk, kød frugt og grønt marked, en tur værd.

Benyttet BabyGrand som overnattig på siste ferienatt etter øyhopping. Hotellet var litt slitt, men vi hadde et fint bad og en god seng under oppholdet. Gratis Wi-Fi og et veldig service-innstilt personale gjorde besøket til en positiv erfaring.
