Residence Inn by Marriott Denver City Center in Denver

I stayed two nights over the weekend (20/21 April 2012) at this hotel and quite enjoyed it. The room was just like on the website - spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent - less than 2 blocks from the 16th street mall. Very accessible to RTD Light Rail. The room was very nice and set up to make one feel as comfortable as possible away from home. We enjoyed how close it was to numerous attractions. The only downside was the price of parking our vehicle there. Was a bit expensive per day, and something that seemed trival for a hotel that has it own indoor garage. Centrally located in Down-Town Denver and within walking distance from the 16th Street out-doors mall, Theater district and Coors Stadium. Courteous staff and comfortable room. The advertised "Breakfast Buffet" was less than what we expected. Not a good varity to offer. Other than that, hotel accommodations were great as was the convenience of the hotel location

Great place to stay located one block from the downtown strip. Free breakfast, a secure place to park and very friendly staff. My girlfriend told the receptionist it was my birthday and when we returned from a night on the town there was a birthday card and local brewed beer left in the room for us. We stay here every chance we get when visiting Denver, especially for the Bronco football games. The location is great, close to 16th St in the heart of downtown. Our rooms have been clean, breakfast is excellent and the weekday dinners are an added bonus. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Room and location were great, but the mattress wasn't as comfy as you would think.

This is the second time I've stayed at this particular Residence Inn and I've been happy each time. The rooms are a great size, there is free internet and breakfast, the staff is attentive and anxious to help and it isn't overpriced. There is a hot tub and secure entry after hours. It was a little noisy on NYE, but I'm sure that's true of a lot of hotels. Stayed here over Christmas and was very happy with it. Have stayed downtown at the Sheraton before & definitely will come back here instead. The staff was very helpful and friendly and they offered a great full breakfast, as well as wine and dinner. Great deal! Perfect place to stay, the breakfast in the morning was excelent with plenty of seating and we didn't feel rushed to make let someone else have our table. Room was nice, my only complaint is having to pay to park but I guess all downtown hotels do anymore.

Stayed in the room two nights, it was better then I could of imagined! Beautiful kitchen, great view, wonderful service and so many more satisfying traits. Free Breakfast in the morning was delicious! would recommend this to anyone, also can't wait to stay there again. Only problem might of been the $20 a night parking. The location is great. Hotel staff are very friendly. Free Internet and fully equipped kitchen are a plus. Parking costs 20 dallors but if you get a cheap rate, it's ok. Overall, great hotel.

The hotel was overall great. The bed and feather pillows were terrible. They also charge $20 a day for parking.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean, modern, comfortable, convenient and new. Great complimentary breakfast buffets and happy hour food made it easy to grab food when needed while planning around holiday meals with family in Denver. Hotel staff were friendly and accomadating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The free happy hour was a nice surprise. I will definitely stay here again.

Excellent service , well kept hotel and in a very good location.

Stayed here for a week and due to its location i could pretty much walk to all the sites of interest. The front desk staff are very friendly and will help with any questions/requests. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to others who are planning a trip to Denver.

I was not happy with the area- and for the price the hotel room not comfortable at all-I felt with the furnishings were poor-some of the front desk staff was knowledgeable about the area and some were too busy with other stuff-.breakfast buffet was good but the pricing should include hotel parking.

Good place to stay- awesome free breakfast, too! Only compliant is that the TV in our room didn't work, which I saw on another review, too. This hotel was clean and very close to 16th St. shopping. Unfortunately the TV in the "living area" did not work. Over all we don't watch too much TV when we stay in hotels, however, things should be in working condition!t

This place was very well appointed and service was good. It's a nice reasonably priced place in downtown Denver. The hotel parking was fairly expensive but expected given the location.

I loved the fact that somehow our room was upgraded to a suite, when I say suite I mean a mini apartment. By far the best room I've ever stayed in

Well kept hotel in centralized downtown area. Nice breakfast buffet, convenient kitchenette, expensive parking! Close to Coors field, 16th St mall. Would stay here again!

The Residence Inn by Marriott Denver City Center is an attractive property with a wonderful location. The only shortcoming is that registration parking requires you to fit into a tight space between support columns.

Very nice facilities and great location. One block from the 16th street mile mall and within walking distance of Coors Field. Also next to the train station which we came in on, entertainment, art, bars, light rail,etc. This is a great part of town. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was first rate. Very good full breakfast at no extra […] charge and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't need a car as we walked to everywhere. After a ball game at night we used they bicycle carriage form of transportation to get our old legs back to the hotel. Only about 6 blocks. Lees meer

The room was comfortable and quite. It made me feel at home. The views were wonderful and we felt very secure.

The staff was great and very helpful. If you want two beds, they will give you a room with a pull-out couch for one of the beds...very uncomfortable!

Staff, room condition, location great, but the Air Conditioner panel was in the room and loud so was awaken every time it went on/off so didn't get much sleep. Around dawn, people's doors shutting was extremely loud and was awakened too.

We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott, Denver, in May 2011. On arrival we were greeted by the friendliest and most helpful staff (especially Cameron!); the suite was roomy and well-appointed with everything we needed. Any other items were available free of charge and we really appreciated the little touches in our room/during our stay (e.g. free […] shopping for groceries, the well-stocked market in the hotel, popcorn in the room, quiet room with a great city view, full kitchen facilities, fresh roses on Mother's Day and a comprehensive and healthy breakfast). This hotel surpassed our expectations and is a definate "must return". Great hotel with amenities of home in a great location. Room has a sitting area with sofa, TV, kitchenette with full fridge, dining table. Bedroom with its own TV. I almost stayed at the more historic Hotel Teatro, but so glad I opted for the Marriott, instead. Suite was spacious, well-furnished and comfortable. Everything looked clean and new. Staff was extremely nice, breakfast buffet (not offered by other hotels in the area, Teatro included) was top-notch and included practically very breakfast item you can […] think of. Location is about a 3-5 minute walk to the 16th Street Mall, with lots of restaurant options for lunch and dinner. My only complaint is that the $20/night parking fee is sort of absurdly steep, considering that the parking garage is practically empty and it isn't exactly a bustling area (relative to New York City). If it wasn't for the fact that I was in a strange city and I didn't want to chance it with street parking, I'd have opted out of that. All in all, though, great stay at the Marriott. Such a nice hotel. To a person, each member of the staff was courteous, helpful and customer friendly. We felt like we were staying with friends. Should we find ourselves in Denver again, this is where we will stay. Wonderful experience.
