Bij aankomst werden we zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, alles werd uitgelegd, ook de bezienswaardigheden etc. we hadden het appartement op 5e verdieping, alleen te bereiken via (smalle) trap. Eenmaal boven was alles wat je nodig hebt aanwezig, geen bad.. vanaf het (kleine) balkon heb je zicht op de zee, op 100m . Op de zesde verdieping bevind zich het dakterras met 2 wasmachines en drogers en enkele ligbedden. complex ligt in rustige buurt, met bushalte/metrostation op loopafstand,prima om de stad te verkennen!!

Het hotel ligt naast een snelweg en ondanks de dubbele beglazing heb hoor je het wel. In ieder geval aan de snelwegzijde van het hotel kan je niet naar buiten kijken. Gordijnen kunnen niet echt open. Kamer was netjes en schoon. Elke dag werden de handdoeken verschoond en het bed opgemaakt. Receptie was vriendelijk. Ontbijt en diner is dit niet echt een locatie voor. Het hotel heeft een eigen restaurant, maar je kan eten bij het restaurant wat aan het gebouw vast zit. Heb hier geen hoge verwachtingen van het is een soort van truckers-maaltijden restaurant. Voor één nacht is het goed te doen. Ik was met de trein. Het is zo'n 15 min lopen vanaf het station. Goed te doen als je fit bent. De route naar het hotel moet je even leren kennen.

metro station dicht bij, maar met ze 4e een taxi even duur als de metro. de kamer en badkamer waren schoon en strak ingericht. ontbijt was goed. we komen zeker terug.

Ligging.
Hotel Granados 83 ligt in Eixample in Barcelona, dicht bij Casa Mila, Casa Batlló en Sagrada Família. In de buurt liggen ook Plaza Catalonia en Palau de la Música Catalana.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Hotel Granados 83 heeft een fitnesscentrum en een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad. Een draadloze internetverbinding is beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes (tegen betaling). De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze 4-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes en een limousine- of autoservice. Dit hotel biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals 2 restaurants plus een bar in het water, een zwembadbar en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, hulp bij excursies/tickets en een cateringdienst voor evenementen regelen. Extra voorzieningen in deze accommodatie in art-decostijl zijn onder andere een dakterras, meertalig personeel en een wasserij. Elke kamer heeft een patio met uitzicht op de stad of het binnenplein.Hotel Granados 83 heeft 77 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een cd-speler en een minibar. Bij betaling van een toeslag kunnen gasten op de kamers gebruikmaken van een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) . Elke kamer heeft een lcd-televisie met kanalen via satelliet. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, een kluis en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van badjassen, een bidet, make-up/scheerspiegels en een föhn.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een gratis krant en pantoffels. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een strijkplank/strijkijzer en een telefonische wekdienst. Een turndownservice wordt elke avond aangeboden terwijl een huishoudservice dagelijks beschikbaar is. Op de kamers van Hotel Granados 83 mag niet worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.

De buitenwijk Eixample is tussen 1860 en 1920 opgericht en bevat de mooiste modernistische gebouwen van de stad. De Passeig de Gràcia is de belangrijkste slagader en de brede trottoirs staan vol designerwinkels en chique cafés. Bovendien vind je er twee van Gaudí's sprookjesachtige meesterwerken, het Casa Batlló en La Pedrera, plus vele andere architectonische juweeltjes. De onbetwiste ster van Eixample is La Sagrada Familia, de beroemde, onvoltooide en emblematische kerk van Gaudí.

I chose this hotel because of all the reviews I had read. Most were extremely accurate. The location is great, near the metro, & walking distance to stores & restaurants. Most of the staff were friendly & tried to be helpful. The room was small, but fine for two people, especially because we really only were there to sleep. It was also clean. "Beautiful, efficient rooms"
This hotel is well located, beautifully designed, and is a remarkable price for the quality. The rooms are small but efficiently designed - I preferred this over the larger rooms I usually stay in. The interior design of my room was notably masculine. I don't know if all the rooms are this way or if they have more feminine rooms.

Hotel Granados 83 is walking distance or a short metro ride away from most of the major sights, esp if you are interested in a holy triumvirate tour of Gaudi: Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila/Le Pedreria, Casa Batto. Plus, the Eixample neighborhood itself is full of cool shops, tapas bars, and restaurants for the sophisticated visitor. My standard room was […] clean and simple, with a cute little balcony overlooking the pool and terrace perfect for a morning coffee delivered at 645 a.m. by room service since there are no in-room coffee making facilities. A nice included touch was a very Spanish petite leather for lounging, and a single red rose by the bed. The staff are considerate and helpful but there is no wireless internet in-rooms unless you pay extra. Instead, go to the lounge to use their computer and printer for free and save your Euros for the great food in Barcelona. Given that you'll spend more time out of the room than in it, don't fret over the small size of the room. Revel in the convenient location, the cleanliness, and nice design of the place! Lees meer

Excellent staff and service, clean hotel, and lovely rooms, and it's close enough to the centre of town but in a relaxing neighbourhood. On the downside there were roadworks at the nearest crossroads junction that were noisy for the duration of our stay, the "pool" and "gym" were very small, and the bar drinks, room service food were on the expensive […] side of things although we got an excellent nightly rate to stay there. Had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. In a quieter location but within walking distance to all the major sites in central Barcelona. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Some odd architectural quirks don't prevent this place from being fun and convenient. Surprisingly good restaurant. Street was closed for maintenance during our stay, making a nice pedestrian mall. The hotel is great and the staff is very nice. But don't go for the pool, which is more the size of a big bath... The pictures you can see on the website are for the private pool of the suites!

Unfortunately all this was let down by a tiny windowless and airless room with a transparent toilet door (who thought that was a good idea?). I have never actually been in a hotel room so small. "Art Lovers Hotel"
If you appreciate boutique hotels, then this is one that art lovers would enjoy. It matches the art theme the city has going on with the many art museums around the city. This particular hotel also supports the Egyptian museum so you can get a free pass there. There were a few art pieces displayed in the room and bathroom that gave the room a feeling […] of culture and sophistication. Despite the modern look of the room, I was slightly disappointed with the upkeep. Our shower head that was nice and high was spraying from the sides as well and actually sprayed on over to the mirror, getting that all wet. In addition to that, the toilet was difficult to flush at times. Though it is listed that the room is sound proof, it really isn't. There are also a button to pull down and close the blinds inside the glass portion of the door, which is pretty cool. I think the room was reasonable for the price, and the location wasn't too far from Passeig de Gracia, one of the main streets and less than a mile a way from La Rambla. The service here was great. I appreciated the staff's ability to speak and understand English, and they were friendly and helpful with connecting us to wi-fi. Lees meer

"Comfortable & convenient stay at the Granados 83"
As soon as we arrived to check-in, we mere made feel very welcome. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and efficient, even handing out safetly leaflets for Barcelona which we read and made aware of the 'tricks' pick-pocketers employ to steal your things whilst you weren't looking. The staff behind the front desk also recommended a few places […] for dinner and we only tried 2 of the places as we didn't have long in Barcelona and they were both GREAT so the staff know what they're talking about. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel though as we thought just under 20euros per person was a bit much, instead we went to different local bakeries/cafes in the morning - this also gave us a chance to try different things. The rooms were clean, a bit smaller than expected but definitely enough space for comfort. Although, we had a room just outside the roadworks which was quite noisy in the mornings while still in bed, so try and ask for a room away from the road works if possible. Good location, a short walk to Las Ramblas, and lots of shopping. Nice bakeries/local restaurants close by. The bus stop for the Bus city sightseeing tour was also close by. night one, i went downstairs to get a bucket of ice from the restaurant - the host was very friendly, and sent a bar back right away to handle it. second night, i went back, but instead got the food and beverage director, who started insisting they ´´charge for the water used to make the ice´´...insisting a bucket of ice would be 6€... while everything […] else went fine, i found that ridiculous. where hotel procedure changes from night to night, or employee to employee... it goes to show they dont have their act together. "Boutique hotel, in nice area for a good price"
The hotel is located in a nice area of Barcelona with many cafe's, restaurants and bars only a a few minutes away. Approx a 10-min walk to the top of the Ramblas. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are not the biggest, but stil nicely laid out and furnished in a Boutique style. The hotel does have a roof terrace with bar and a large plunge […] pool, great for the late night cap. Would recommend to friends as very reasonably priced. "Habitacion estrecha sin iluminacion natural"
La habitación reservada era sumamente estrecha y sin ventana al exterior. La ventana daba hacia un espacio interno donde circulaba el ascensor. Un cambio a una habitación un poco mayor y con iluminación y ventilación natural me fue concedido por un pago adicional de 30 euros por noche. Vi var der 5 nætter og nød opholdet. Personalet var venligt og hjælpsomt. Værelset var i meget fin stand og med høj rengøringsstandard. Hotellet ligger i et hyggeligt og fredeligt kvarter tæt på centrum, metro, shopping og hvad man ellers kunne ønske. God lydisolering og uden gadestøj. Morgenmaden var også af høj kvalitet. "Andersledes men lækkert"
Hotel Granados 83 er et lille men super lækkert Hotel, som bestemt lever op til sine stjerner. Hotellet er indrettet i anderledes rå og rustikke materialer, men fremstå rigtig flot. Hotellet er centralt beliggende med Turist-bus samt Metro kun få blokke derfra. I nærområdet af hotellet ligge mange hyggelige caféer samt restauranter, som gør kvarteret […] rigtig charmerende. Servicen på hotellet var helt i top - engelsktalende, smilende og meget hjælpsomme. Værelserne er af standardstørrelse men er yderst komfortable. Ligeledes var renligheden på hotellet meget god ! Skal man finde en lille smule kritik, så skal det siges, at hotellets morgenbuffet var temmelig dyr - vi bestilte den aldrig, men formåede at spise morgenmad 4 personer, for samme pris, som én morgenmadsbuffet kostede på hotellet. Søger man et lækkert og charmerende hotel centralt i Barcelona, er Granados 83 et fantastisk sted ! Lees meer
"Sjarmerende hotell i rolige omgivelser i Barcelona"
Herlig hotell glimrende plassert i Exiample. Gåavstand til det aller meste, og herlige restauranter plassert rundt om. Vi droppet hotellfrokosten og spiste deilig og fornuftig priset frokost på Alba litt lengre ned i gaten. Alba kan også anbefales for en bedre middag. "Mye for pengene - flott service og hotell"
Upåklagelig service, flott hotell, men rommene er i minste laget. Liker du god plass til bagasje og avslapning på rommet blir det litt trangt. Kvaliteten på rommene og ikke minst sengene var veldig bra. Til prisen får du utrolig mye igjen for pengene, anbefales!

Bra hotell, rent och fräscht, OK frukostbuffé, lugnt område (förrutom ombyggnad av gatan utanför, men med rum mot gården ingen störning). Rummet var ganska litet, men helt OK. Personalen tillmötesgående och trevlig. Promenadavstånd på ca 15 min till centrum och metro-station ca 1 min.

"Granados 83 - Bra om du kan tolererar lite slarv"
Allting i Granados var upp till förväntingar. Det man får räkna med är att det är ett litet hotell. Ex: Swimmingpolen på taket är rätt liten, och det kan nog inte alltid vara lätt att hitta solplats... När vi ankom till hotellet, fick vi ett rum på första våningen utan balkong och rummet var litet. Vi bad direkt om ett byte och personalen var mycket […] professionell och trevliga och erbjöd oss ett rum på 3e våningen med balkong. Detta utan tjat eller diskussion. Hotellet ligger cirka 10 -15 min promenad till La Ramla vilket var bra för vår del. Det enda negativa vi inte gillade var följande: - En dag hade det slarvats lite med städningen av badrummet. - Vi bad om en "wake-up-call" sista dagen, vilket aldrig kom plus att receptionen hade missuppfattat oss och bokat taxin sista dagen till flygplatsen, 15 min senare än vad vi begärde. "Hotell Granados 83 i Barcelona - Mycket trevligt"
Mycket bra och trevligt hotell. Har inget att klaga på. Fick väldigt bra bemötande vid incheckningen. Eftersom det var min första vistelse i Barcelona fick jag kartor och en massa info utan att jag behövde fråga om det. Kommer säkert tillbaka.

Un très bel hotel, design, agréable, bien situé, personnel très aimable. Seuls les petits déj sont à un prix prohibitif: plus de 18€, mais il est facile de trouver aux alentours. Bref, à recommander sans la moindre hésitation.

nämligen shopping och sevärdheter! Hotellet ligger bra till, det är nära till dom stora shoppinggatorna, till Gaudis bägge hus och La Sagrada F, schyssta restauranger inom promenadavstånd och hyfsat nära gotiska kvarteren och hamnen om man promenerar runt och vill se den "turistigare" delen av staden. Designhotell som känns prisvärt, rummen fina, som […] på alla spanska hotell inte dom längsta sängarna men det får man ju ingenstans. Dyr frukost och du hittar en trevligare atmosfär någonstans på kaféerna i närheten istället. Lees meer
