Nieuw hotel vlakbij de luchthaven. Wij hebben geen last gehad van de vliegtuigen. Prima ontbijt, voldoende keus. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel.Zwembad en jacuzzi waren 24 uur open. Alles perfect schoon gehouden. Een oase van rust en toch in de buurt van de strip. Heerlijk om binnen 5 minuten aan het ontbijt te kunnen zitten of bij het zwembad zonder eerst 15 minuten door een casino te moeten lopen.

Heel mooi en luxe hotel, enig minpunt is dat er geen of nauwelijks ontbijtmogelijkheden zijn. Verder een luxe hotel met alle voorzieningen, dame die ons incheckte was vriendelijk maar het was tevens haar eerste dag, de rest van het personeel was iets minder vriendelijk. Het hotel zou ik eerder beoordelen als 4*, over de top (zoals Bellagio/Ceasars Palace) was het niet.

Mooie en ruime kamers, modern ingericht, klasse!Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.Enige minpunt was dat het hotel de internet verbinding heeft uitbesteed aan een extern bedrijf welke slecht bereikbaar was ivm problemen met de betaling voor mijn WIFI verbinding!

super super super mooi, helemaal perfect. Bij aankomst heel aardig personeel. Kamer kon omgeboekt worden naar een kamer met heel mooi uitzicht! Zonder extra kosten! Geen domme resort fee die er ineens nog dagelijks bij kwam! heerlijk, perfect hotel gewoon!

Goed hotel voor verblijf niet ver van de Strip. Restaurant Ellis Island naast hotel gelegen met heerlijk steakmenu voor $7,99. Supermarktje 7 eleven vlakbij.Handige shuttle van en naar luchthaven.
Ligging.
South Point Hotel, Casino, and Spa ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in South of The Strip in Las Vegas, met bezienswaardigheden zoals Golfclub Rio Secco, Sunset Park en Golfclub Revere in de buurt. Een andere bezienswaardigheid in de omgeving is Thomas & Mack Center.
Resortvoorzieningen.
South Point Hotel, Casino, and Spa heeft een volledig uitgeruste spa, een spabad en een turks stoombad. Dit resort met 4 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum en vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen. Dit resort biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals 9 restaurants plus een koffiebar/café, 5 bars/lounges en een zwembadbar. Het personeel kan op verzoek hulp bij excursies/tickets, een huwelijksservice en een cateringdienst voor evenementen regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een casino, een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad en een kinderzwembad. Gasten kunnen gratis gebruikmaken van een luchthavenshuttle (op geplande tijden). Valet en zelf parkeren is gratis.

Elke kamer biedt uitzicht op de bergen of het zwembad. South Point Hotel, Casino, and Spa heeft 2079 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van iPod-dockingstations en een (laptop)kluis. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling gebruikmaken van de draadloze internetverbinding op de kamer. Elke 42-inch flatscreen televisie heeft premiumkanalen via kabel/satelliet en betaalfilms. Even buiten de strip ligt dit grote, nieuwe hotel. Het is goed bereikbaar met veel parkeermogelijkheden. Wij hadden een erg ruime kamer en grote ramen die uitkeken op de omgeving. "South Point Las Vegas"
Super groot hotel, was zuidelijk gelegen gezien vanuit de Strip maar daar ben je in 5 minuten met de auto. Normaal hotel/casino zonder uiterlijke poespas. Valet parking, koel buitenbad, veel mogelijkheden om te eten in het hotel. Prima hotel als uitvalsbasis om las Vegas te bekijken en toch 'relatief rustig' weer terug te keren naar je eigen hotel.
"Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding maar ver van de strip"
Voor een Las Vegas ervaring is het hotel ver van de strip. Als uitvalsbasis voor de Grand Canyon prima. Kamer en faciliteiten standaard LV, maar die standaard is gewoon hoog.
"South Point: stay in your room!"
We chose the South Point Hotel for a one night stay in Las Vegas, during our a trip of National Parks (in between Yosemite and Zion) and so we were obliged to take our kids through a noisy casino amongst sad looking gamblers and worn out people while moving from one wonderful nature experience to the next. This contrast shocked us and made us experience […] Vegas and this hotel in particular as a very sad place, where we did not feel at home at all. On the positive side, the room was large and clean, so no complaints about that, but eating dinner/breakfast in a noisy, depressing atmosphere, without any heartfelt commitment from staff members made us feel very lonely and wanting to get out of the place asap.... Perhaps we should not have had any high expectations given the low price we paid. "Worst trip ever"
Both reported and handed to the front desk bed bugs that were found on my bed and was told to go report it to security. Upon arrival was given fun book but was unable to use it since I forgot my club card; I was never directed or informed I could get a another until I spoke to a friend. nice stay, nice large and comfortable rooms, really nice pool. we stopped for a few nights at end of camping trip before flying home for some R&R and a bit of pampering. lots of fun things for kids and kids had a great time. everything was mostly tip-top except drapes wouldn't pull. we had housekeeping in several times to fix but they never worked right. […] we also did not have a book of services, and I requested one several times to no avail. this hotel is far south of the main part of the strip near the airport in a blase commercial area. this worked for me because I don't like the hustle/bustle and didn't want or need to leave the hotel, but those into the party scene will feel out of it. "perfect hotel just outside it all"
Everything was better than expected, shuttle to the strip is operated for a fair price. Remember to pick it up at excalibur hotel when going home in order to do so in 20 mins. Otherwise you might end up wait a long time in a bus.

"Best Value for your money if you have a car"
The hotel is fairly new, rooms are 5 star quality, Food is good and reasonable (if you select the right restaurant.). Shampoo, soap etc are high end. Swimming pool and Jacuzi are super. Even some of the slot machines seemed to be generous!!! The only thing we found negative is the number of smokers in the Casino (where we come from it is illegal to […] smoke in confined areas), however, this is not a reflection on the hotel, but the Casino. The South Point was a great value for the price and a good locatioin. It was not in the busy area of the strip but close enough to go there if you wanted. The only thing I thought was odd was that the bedding had a mattress pad that felt very much like a plastic protector for the mattress. You could hear the noise of plastic through the sheet. We enjoyed our stay at South Point. The rooms are really big, large tv, great pool, clean hotel. The bed was a little too hard for my taste, but that didn't take away from my time there. I would choose this place again. We brought our 17 month old and she loved the open space to run, great pool for kids.

"okay.. if not going anywhere"
We stayed here because it was close to the wedding we were attending was, however, after the wedding we wanted to be at the strip or downtown and let me tell ya cab fare was expensive!! We took the shuttle a couple times but it was still $8 per person, slow and difficult to time. When we were at the hotel we enjoyed many of their restaurants and the […] pool. Our room did not have a fridge and our TV would randomly freeze and stop working.. I don't think I will be staying here again because I prefer a room w/ more/ better amenities and I want to be at a more central location so that I do not spend all my money on cab fare.. Great hotel, great people and lots to do...........
Very busy hotel, much busier than 2 years ago when we last stayed there.The casino is smokey and very noisy because so many people there.

Rate was easily the best of any we found that was with-in 5 miles of the strip/on the strip. Definitely a local feel to the casino but the people were all friendly/the staff of the hotel and casino were great. Roomed seemed very new/updated. Pool area doesn't have the feel that a 'strip located" hotel has but the beer was cold, the Sun was still hot […] and the waitresses were active! Prices for the cocktails was very resonable also. Shuttle service to/from the strip is convenient and saves $$. Overall a great experience for the $$. Lees meer

This hotel did just fine. Pricey fees for internet and gym facilities though. Restaurant prices are much better than hotels on the strip. Would stay here again.

Incredible value-priced suites w/ over sized bathrooms and tubs, rivals the best on the strip. Valet was a disaster. Room service delivered over priced wretched food. House keeping seemed unappreciative of tips. No drink service on the floor (took so long that a modest player received none). Mediocre player's club, tight slots. Way, way out of the way. "Fantastic Hotel"
I have recommended this hotel to several people already. We were very pleased with the all-in-one activities. Bingo, slots, restaurants... the valets were super quick and very friendly. Had a fantastic stay. We will come back.

"Great place... not so great service."
All in all for it beign a new hotel it was clean, and nice. I think they were lacking in the customer servcie dept. The check in staff was friendly. We have to wait 1 1/2 for a fridge to be sent to our room. The remote and wireless keyboard in the rooms were out of batteries. The staff at the buffet and bars were rude and not helpful. With as many offers […] as we get from other hotels... we wont need to stay here again. I be;ive it is more a 3 than 4 star hotel. Lees meer

Hotel is at the end of the strip away from the action but has bus access and we had a car anyway. I wish they could do something about the smoke in the casino but the room was clean and smoke-smell free. It just didn't have enough hangers! This seems to be a problem in Vegas - nobody dresses any more so nobody hangs up any clothes!

Really great value for all the amenties. Large rooms...great for girls and their stuff. More Shuttle stops would have been helpful since it is so far from the strip.

Hotel was nice. I don't think the ventilation was that good because I was choking on cigarette smoke constantly in the casino. Had to ask for room service on my second day. My friend had a bad experience with rude girl at check in.

Exceptional accommodation and although it was away from the strip, there was a daily bus for $8.00/person that went every hour to the strip. Also, good restaurants with decent prices
