Dos Angeles del Mar Guesthouse in Rincon

Had a great time. Great view of the ocean. Close to many restaurants and the beach. Woke to the sound of cows and roosters most mornings but that was fine. Need a little better lighting in the rooms though. Hard for me to shave or my girlfriend put on makeup. Could only see one side of my face well. Guest House is a great property. Manicured, varied and colorful landscaped yard surrounding the pool and yard area. Breakfast area is a covered area next to the pool that makes for a comfortable morning to contemplate plans for the day. House is conveniently located with a 5-7 minute walk to the beach or food down the hill. Continental breakfast each […] morning was simple and varied but fresh and good. The Dos Angeles is a few minutes walk up the hill out of Sandy Beach. It's near enough to be walkable for the bars and cafes down there, although most people use cars in Rincon anyway. The guesthouse has a lovely garden setting with pool - a great spot to have a nice (included) breakfast in the morning. Room was very clean and cozy. Attention was excellent. View is fantastic. Doors were a little noisy.

We stayed just one night in Rincon, but our stay here was very pleasant. Rooms were very clean, and there was hot water right away! (Not always the case at other B&B's in PR.) John gave us great dinner recommendations, and supplied beach towels for our surf lesson. All in all - a great stay.

The bed and breakfast would be ok for certain people; it just didn’t fit us. There was not enough privacy, we felt as though we were sneaking in/out of our parent's house after dark. All the floors are tile and ALL the doors are metal (like storm doors) so every time anyone closes a door it is very loud-Including the bathroom doors. Moving on to the […] bathroom, we lost water pressure several times while taking a shower. We think it was when the owner’s kids where outside washing the dog with the hose. We thought this was kind of strange since it is obvious that someone is in the shower (you can hear the water running throughout the house.) Water also did not get very hot, kind of like taking a shower at a beach access... The air conditioner was extremely loud and the fan made the most annoying clicking when it was on high. The beds where hard and the pillows where as thin as paper. No internet in our room, only available outside by the pool (there is no excuse for that!) Breakfast was coffee, milk, cold cereal, and oatmeal, which was very disappointing considering all the nice bakeries that are in the area. They have a pool but it is only a few feet deep for some reason, but the backyard is pretty. The setting was very nice, great view of the mountains and ocean. The location is great if you want to be on that side of town, I would recommend the south side of Rincon though since it seemed to be a little nicer and authentic. The walk down the hill to at least three restaurants was nice, not bad. The owner was very nice and had information to offer about places to go and the surf. Overall nice place just not what you would expect for that price, it should be more like half of that. I would recommend staying here if you want to surf or would like to be very close to the beach and are not concerned too much with comforts or privacy. Absolutely wonderful place to stay...John and Yolanda were the ulitmate host. The property is lush and tropical with a beautiful pool for relaxing. Our room was very comfortable and we loved sitting on our balcony drinking coffee overlooking the view of the ocean listening to the sound of the waves from the nearby beach. If you're staying in Rincon, this place is a great location, has great rooms, and the owners are wonderful!! Very relaxed atmosphere.

This place was like heaven. I rarely saw anyone, and it felt like a paradise, even as the rain kept coming because of tropical storm Emily. The palm trees and greenery maybe it feel like you were isolated. Very romantic if you are a couple, or just a place for solitude. Oh, and nice swimming pool too! Super, super clean, and breakfast included.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Dos Angeles del Mar Guesthouse last week with my wife and two kids. It was awesome. The owners, John and Yolanda are extremely polite and helpful with recommendations. The location is excellent; walking distance to the beach and three of the best restaurants in Rincon. A quiet and very nice setting for the kids that […] even preferred the nice pool than the beach. We will be back without the kids as this is a perfect setting to try for our third kid (Ja!). Dos Angeles del Mar Guesthouse was an extremely pleasant surprise. We had to make a last minute trip to Rincon, PR over the July 4th holiday and Dos Angeles was the only room available in the area. I have always been hesitant of B&B's but wouldn't have wanted to have stayed anywhere else! The owner is engaging but not intrusive and makes you feel very […] welcome. The location is fantastic (just a few blocks from the beach) and the other guests were very friendly. Breakfasts were very convenient and it was a good opportunity to interact with the other guests. Great experience, friendly service from John. Suggest upgrading the breakfast and making rooms available with king beds.

The hotel was very difficult to find, there was no wi-fi as identified in hotel description. Breakfast is moderate but it is so in most Puerto Rican hotels we stayed. Staff (I guess the owner himself) was very friendly and helpful. Although location is quite remote from Rincon city centre, it is within walkable distance from the beach and neighborhood […] bars and restaurants. We had some trouble finding the place, and no one answered the phone until after we were supposed to check in (we actually had pre-arranged to be there at a certain time). Other than that, it was very nice. It is close to nice beaches and restaurants.

Situado a 5 min o menos de Sandy beach en Rincón. Habitacion amplia(honey moon room),con balcon,limpieza impecable. Piscina pequeña,pero muy acogedora. Desayuno continental Jonh el dueño,muy amable,nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos. Lo recomiendo

Estuvimos muy a gusto, la habitación era amplia y cómoda y el jardín y la piscina encantadores. Nos costó un poco encontrarlo aunque no creo que se le pueda achacar al Hotel, en Rincón nada está bien señalizado. Nuestros anfitriones fueron un encanto. Nos defraudó un poco el entorno, la zona es sólo para surfistas.
