Hotel President in Giovinazzo

I stayed for 5 nights in Hotel Presdient in Giovinazzo. The hotel is situated at the busy road between Giovniazzo and Bari. About 2 km from Giovinazzo and 15 km from Bari. There is a bus connection to these cities (not on Sunday). There is a railway next to the hotel that could be a little noisy, beside that the hotel is great. Hotel stuff is serious and very friendly. Good for a single night. Avoid if you do not have a car or pre-arranged transportation. Free parking is a plus. Next to the train tracks.

Hotel stuff is great but this is the only great thing. The hotel is next to the train tracks and you wake up around 6:45 with the first one. It is OK to spend one night to catch an early flight etc. The outside pool is in good condition but forget the sea.

Not really impressed with the hotel. None of the reviews mention the train line running 15m behind the hotel, the internet would not work in our room, the breakfast selection was basic, the dinner menu was even more so. The hotel is not actually in Bari, probably my fault for not checking, but it came up listed second when I searched "hotels in Bari". […] It is a 25 minute bus ride or a 35 euro taxi ride from the city. 2.5 out of 5 at best... This is an elegant hotel where the staff will probably be able to do anything you like to make your stay better. Breakfast comes with a sea view and coffee is made specially for you. On request, my daughter was given unlimited use of a computer is a secluded room. The pool was delightful and the hotel was very good value.

Small room, very small bathroom with only a shower. Location very difficult to find and also far from the city or any sights. Basically a suburn of Bari. Staff not friendly and not useful. Very poor breakfast offered. Not recommended.

Il mio giudizio potrebbe essere influenzato dall'esperienza negativa che ho avuto a causa, però, di un mio errore nella prenotazione, professionalmente ben gestito dall'operatore della reception. Purtroppo son rimasta piuttosto delusa dalle condizioni della camera che mostrava un'evidente necessità di pulizia e "rinfrescata" pure delle pareti. Un consiglio […] alla direzione dell'hotel: tra una prenotazione e l'altra sarebbe opportuno cambiare le lenzuola e anche gli asciugamani, perchè, seppur all'evidenza stirati, conservano i segni degli ospiti precedenti. Nel caso in cui mi stessi sbagliando, allora cambiate lavanderia! Della moquette poi, che dire..... Mi spiace, in fondo è una buona struttura! Lees meer

Normalissimo hotel senza nulla di particolare ma molto economico per essere un quattro stelle. Molto carina la piscina anche se qualche sdraio in piu non avrebbe fatto male averla. Servizio scadente a colazione non per colpa del personale ma a causa di chi gestisce l'hotel. Tenere una persona sola ad agosto a servire un'intera sala a colazione non è […] pensabile. Assumete qualche persona in più che offrite un servizio migliore e fate del bene anche a qualche persona che ha bisogno di lavorare. Camere pulite e gradevoli. Non sarebbe stato male avere la tv di nuova generazione. Il wifi non sarebbe male averlo gratis anche se il costo per 6 ore di navigazione era irrisorio. Lees meer

hotel utilizzato per fare base alla sera dopo ecursioni giornaliere alla provincia di bari. necessaria l'auto per spostamenti in quanto non vicinissimo al centro di giovinazzo. pulito e confortevole. con piscina nel gardino per un piavevole riposo dopo giornate di visita.

Vi semestrade i 10 dagar och låg vid poolen på förmiddagarna och åkte på utflykter på eftermiddagarna. Hotellets inriktning är mer på konferenser än turister och det märks på gästerna i resturang och lobbybar, men även på att det var gott om ledigt utrymme i och vid poolen. Personalen var verkligen personliga och extremt serviceinriktade, maten i resturangen […] var av mycjet hög kvalitet, även om menyn inte var tillräckligt variationsrik för en 10-dagarsperiod så var vi ändå imponerade av både första och sista måltiden där. President oli hyvätasoinen ja profiililtaan sopiva liikematkustukseen sekä perhelomailuun. Neljälle hengelle huoneessa oli tuplavuode ja kaksi sänkyä ja huone oli tilava ja oikein siisti. Uima-allasalue oli kiva (keskikokoinen allas, siisti) ja rauhallinen, lapset sai rauhassa polskia ja hyppiä. Hotellin alue oli aidattu ja autot oli pihassa aidan takana […] ja portit yöllä kiinni. Henkilökunta oli palvelualtista ja suurin osa osasi oikein hyvää englantia. Aamupala oli Italialaiseksi monipuolinen buffet. Jostain syystä meidän navigaattorimme ei löytänyt osoitetta ensiyrittämällä, mutta henkilökunta ohjeisti perille puhelimitse ja hotelli oli helppo muuten löytää (pääkadun varressa). Hotellin ohi kulki junarata, mutta liikennöinti ei häirinnyt ainakaan meitä. Lees meer

Struttura molto bella, manutenzione più che sufficiente, colazione buona, personale gentile. Vista mozzafiato sul mare. Va bene per chi si muove in macchina, perché é facilmente raggiungibile da Bari e da tutte le località visitabili nei dintorni, ma non ha attrazioni raggiungibili a piedi. Concepito per i viaggiatori d'affari, secondo me é consigliabilissimo […] anche per famiglie o coppie. C'é una piscina e un giardino bellissimo. - It's a very beautiful building, good maintenance, good continental breakfast, nice people. You get a wonderful sea-scape in front of the Hotel. It's good for those who drive, because it's close to so many wonderful spots, but it has no attraction at walking distance. It's a tipical business site, but it can be recommended to families or couples as well, because it features a beautiful swimming pool and a wonderful garden. It's really worth the money! Lees meer

Wir waren zu acht und haben die 5 Tage sichtlich genossen. Auch wenn das Hotel keine Perfekte Lage für eine Abifahrt hat, ist das durch ein sehr nettes und deutschsprechendes Personal gut übertüncht geworden. Ob es um Einzelbetten, öffnen von Privatrestaurants oder das öffnen des Pool ging, war das Personal mehr als zuvorkommen. Letzteres hat leider […] wegen der Chlorwerte dann doch nicht funktioniert, aber bei strahlendem Sonnenschein war es trotzdem schön am Pool zu liegen. Das Frühstück war ergiebig mit leckeren Croussants, einem netten Kellner und Blick auf dem Meer. Das Hotel ist jedoch eingelich auf Buisnessleute ausgelegt, aber uns hat es nicht gestört, dass ab und zu telefonierende Italianer durchs Hotel gelaufen sind. Ein wenig haben die Züge gestört, aber durch die Doppelverglasung hab ich das nur bedingt wahrgenommen. Alles im allen, wir haben bei den Preisen nichts erwartet und alles bekommen. Lees meer
