Ligging.
Hotel Biltmore ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in Zona Viva in Guatemala-Stad, dicht bij El Obelisco, La Aurora Zoo en Francisco Marroquin University. In de ruime omgeving liggen ook Torre del Reformador en Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
In alle openbare ruimtes kan je tegen betaling de draadloze internetverbinding gebruiken. Dit hotel met 3 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en secretariële diensten. Het personeel kan op verzoek hulp bij excursies/tickets, een geldwisseldienst en computerverhuur regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere meertalig personeel, een winkeltje en koffie in de lobby. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling gebruikmaken van een luchthavenshuttle (op geplande tijden). Parkeren op locatie is gratis.
Hotelkamers.
Hotel Biltmore heeft 116 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een kluis en een föhn. Alle bedden hebben een donsdeken en donsdekens. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling gebruikmaken van de snelle internetverbinding (via kabel) op de kamer. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel en gratis filmkanalen. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau en een luidsprekertelefoon met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie en gratis toiletartikelen.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een klokradio en verduisterende gordijnen. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een strijkplank/strijkijzer en een telefonische wekdienst. Een turndownservice wordt elke avond aangeboden terwijl een huishoudservice dagelijks beschikbaar is.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.
Speciale verzoeken kunnen, indien mogelijk, bij het inchecken worden ingewilligd. Hiervoor kunnen extra kosten worden aangerekend. Speciale verzoeken kunnen niet worden gegarandeerd.

We only stayed one night and arrived late in the evening. I would strongly suggest that they have at least one bottle of water available in the room rather than having to get room service at such a late hour. Other than the water, we were very pleased. The continental breakfast surpassed our expectations.

from the one bellhop, to the front desk staff to the breakfast buffet staff all made my stay wonderful. They put up with me trying to speak Spanish, and were fluent in English when I couldn't get my point across. This was my 6th trip back in 3 years. I love the fact as a guest you can use the services of their Sister Hotel attached, so I enjoyed spa […] services, a fabulous work out facility and an amazing time laying by the pool and using the Jacuzzi. The staff at the pool bringing you whatever you need with beautiful smiles was fantastic. If you are looking for a place to relax and get a drink? The Bar Biltmore is perfect for just that. The staff was always ready to get you what you need and making suggestions on the "local" specialities. The hotel is also with in safe walking distance to many of my favorite restaurants. Lees meer

Super comfy beds in a very friendly and accomodating hotel. A good breakfast is included and the location is good .. near the airport, walking distance to the zoo and close to many good restaurants and shops.

It is a very nice hotel. You can easily get here from the airport on a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. The room was nice and staff helpful. We arrived at 12 at night and then found out that the hair dryer was missing, so they sent in a guy to install it at 12 30 am. Breakfast had a good choice of fruit.
"A good value for an airport commuter hotel"
Not a bad stay for one night as we awaited an early morning flight at the Guatemala City airport. Staff was friendly enough, but the language barrier was definitely there. The people behind the desks were generally helpful and spoke English well, but that doesn't hold true for the rest of the staff. We spent an afternoon at the adjoining hotel's pool, […] which was fantastic. That experience was $10 per person, which for us - after a solid week of busy travel and play in Antigua - was totally worth it. Be warned though, that the passageway between the hotels is not clear and very poorly marked. My wife had real trouble finding her way back and found the hotel employees unhelpful. The airport shuttle was on time the following morning with no hassle. Not a bad place to stay on a budget near the airport, though the adjoining hotel made the Biltmore Express look a bit ragged. "Pleasant stay"
We have stayed at this hotel before, found the desk person to be friendly and courteous. Our stay usually consists of one night only. No surprises, breakfast was the usual bread, cold cuts, cheese, sweet rolls. Did miss the yogurt they have provided in the past. Oh, and fruit.

Do not waste your time or money with this hotel. What they tell you upfront is not what they deliver to you. If you do stay here you are a fool...
GREAT LOCATION. VERY REASONABLE PRICE. COULD USE SOME UPDATING IN FURNISHINGS AND BATHROOMS.

"Biltmore Express Guatemala"
After 2 months living in minimalistic setting we looked forward to a last night in comfort. The airconditioning did not work and the room was very hot. Our 3 year old was excited about using the p;ool directly outside our room, but after being routed all the way through the hotels many restaurants and private dining halls, in our swim wear, we reached […] the pool only to be told that it would be $10 per person! Our daughter was in tears. We felt misled by the listing of a pool which is apparently shared with another hotel, for an outrageous price, and having paid for a better hotel we expected to sleep in cool comfort. "Not bad but not stellar"
I stayed in Guatemala city for an overnight stop prior to an early flight out of the airport. This hotel was convenient because it is very close to the airport with a free shuttle, had free breakfast, and is in Zona Vida (close to great restaurants). However, you get what you paid for. It is an older hotel in need of renovation, relatively clean room […] but wear and tear seen in the carpet and bathroom. Bathroom tub was clogged. Your can hear your neighbor through the vent in the bathroom. Breakfast was typical continental style American Breakfast. Again, you get what you paid or which is what I had expected. Lees meer

very economical and extremely centrally located in the Zona Viva. I felt very safe here, and the hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

"Okay for short stay"
I stayed at this hotel for single nights on two different occasions (two different rooms). The cleanliness was not all it could be and the rooms were rather tatty and shop worn. The worst feature was the unbelievably noisy air conditioning units (both rooms). In the first room, I could open the window, which was sufficient for the night but in the second, […] the room overlooked a large, noisy chiller unit so the choice was being too warm or deafened. "Buena relación precio-beneficio"
El Hotel está bien en términos generales, el único defecto que observé es que el sistema de aire acondicionado en la habitación no funcionaba. Sin embargo el clima en Guatemala es tán confortable que se puede dormir con las ventanas abiertas.

El hotel se encuentra en la zona viva de la ciudad cerca de restaurantes y antros; aunque un poco lejos del centro. Aunque nuestra estancia fue solo de una noche, la atención que recibimos por parte del personal fue tajante, las instalaciones están bien aunque por el momento el hotel se encuentra en remodelación.

Es un hotel ubicado convenientemente en la zona 10 de Guatemala, Lo recomiendo para viajes de negocios ya que se encuentra cerca de bancos y oficinas y existe una muy buena oferta de comida en los alrededores. Hotel relativamente viejo y con problemas de conexion al internet.
