alle belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden met openbaarvervoer en te voet makkelijk te doen. Deze hotel is een oude Ibis hotel welke kun je nog overal herkennen. Ontbijt was lekker maar jammer van de koffie, deze is namelijk gewoon "americana" welke ga je van 50L tank tapen. Leuke stad!

Fijn hotel op een prima lokatie, alles is lekker dichtbij. Transfer van vliegveld naar hotel is een makkie met de metro, kleine 30 minuten in totaal. Ontbijtbuffet was erg uitgebreid, voor elk wat wils. Enige nadeel was het ietswat doorgezakte bed.

Prettig hotel. Kleine kamer met wat verouderde badkamer, maar meer ook niet verwacht voor de prijs. Ik had een kamer aan het binnenpleintje, wat erg rustig was. Het ontbijt eenmalig geprobeerd. Er wordt gebruik gemaakt van plastic bestek/bordjes en de koffie was gewoonweg niet te zuipen. Het hotel ligt op een steenworp afstand van het centraal station en winkeltjes (en op loopafstand van het centrum), dus alternatief ontbijt is zo gehaald. Voor een paar kroner kan je in het hotel ook koffie uit de automaat halen, die is iets beter. De buurt is ok, er zitten een aantal leuke restaurantjes met lekker eten. Er zitten ook best wat sexshops en nachtclubs in de buurt, maar als je je aan het zicht niet stoort heb je er geen last van.

Een nette kamer, net sanitair en een goede keuken. Er werd gezegd dat je met een creditkaart kan betalen maar dit is niet zo. Men vraagt cash geld.

Prima hotel met aardig personeel op een goede locatie in het centrum van Kopenhagen. Goede 3 dagen gehad.
Ligging.
Copenhagen Island Hotel ligt in Tivoli in Kopenhagen, dicht bij Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Tivolituinen en Strøget. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Nationaal Museum van Denemarken en Stadhuisplein.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Copenhagen Island Hotel heeft een healthclub, een stoomcabine en een sauna. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze accommodatie met 4 sterren zijn onder andere een businesscentrum en audiovisuele apparatuur. Dit hotel met een groen/duurzaam beleid biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een bar/lounge en een snackbar/broodjeszaak. Het amusementspark Tivoli, opgericht in 1843, maakt deze wijk tot de levendigste wijk in de stad. Het park heeft een van de oudste nog werkende achtbanen en 's werelds grootste draaimolen. Het Pantomime-Teatret dateert uit 1874. Andere attracties vormen het Hans Christian Anderson Slottet, het Glashuset en de Konsertsal met de aquariumlounge. 's Zomers vinden hier openluchtconcerten plaats.

Een mooi ruim modern en luxe opgezet hotel met helaas veel te weinig parkeer plaatsen voor de gasten. Waardoor je meteen binnen een uur een parkeer boete hebt en een ontzettend eind moet lopen naar een parkeer gelegenheid zonder bewaking! Dit vonden wij erg jammer.
Mooi hotel. Enkele bedden zijn erg smal (70cm) en ontbijt is niet inclusief.
"Prachtig design hotel"
Hotel beetje buiten het centrum,maar er zijn prima verbindingen. Erg strak, design,mooi. Badkamer heeft raam,hetgeen handig is,omdat je dan niet altijd het licht aan hoeft te doen,echter als je (zoals ik) de kamer deelt met een collega ivm een congres, is het even wennen.... Het hotel maakt een nieuwe indruk als je aankomt, echter is het iets te klinisch ingericht. De bar cq restaurant maakt niet echt een gezellige indruk, en er stond in de avond niet eens muziek aan. De kamer is mooi ingericht. Langs het bed zaten een paar irritante vloerlampjes, met de bedoeling dat ze aanspringen als je midden in de nacht naar het toilet […] moet of zo. Maar ze sprongen om de haverklap aan, als je alleen al je dekbed een beetje over de rand liet hangen....lekker voor lichte slapers. Verder ligt het hotel te ver van het centrum, dat loop je ook niet even, zeker niet omdat het langs een grote weg ligt, dus ben je al snel gedwongen om weer de auto te pakken, om weer in het centrum te komen. Erg kleine maar schone kamer, vond het een kil en kleurloos interieur. Personeel tijdens het ontbijt zegt niets en haalt ongevraagd je tafel leeg.
"Goed hotel maar duur ontbijt"
Goed hotel, locatie net buiten het centrum, maar goed te bereiken bij taxi of lopend. (ca. 15 min) Fietsen te huur, erg goed om kopenhagen te bekijken! Ontbijt enorm duur, 20 euro p.p.p.d!!! Wel goede kwaliteit van het ontbijt trouwens. Weinig parkeerruimte bij hotel, parkeren kost 13 euro per dag.

"A short walk to Copenhagen's sights"
The hotel was a 15 minute walk from the main train station, Kobenhavn H, which links you to everything in the city. There is a large mall next door with a movie theater and many restaurants as well. Each room has free wireless internet that was reasonably quick and reliable, and the TV had enough channels to watch. "Nice Modern Hotel in Copenhagen - not far from cit"
The rooms are small - so if you are American be prepared :-) But the rooms where clean and very modern. The staff are all really helpful - and breakfast was excellent - be sure and try the Danish pastries as they are the real deal. I would stay here again - about $15 for a cab into the city - but only 10-15 walk if not too cold. I really enjoyed my […] time in Copenhagen and this hotel was perfect base to travel out everyday. Budget standard, not much extra space for a single person in a double room. For this price, you get a hotel much closer to the city where you don't HAVE TO use a taxi. Also rather cold being so close to the sea on a windy winter day

The views from the superior double room were great, the room itself was clean and modern with free wifi, but it was also small. Located near a shopping mall with plenty of restaurants and ATM, but the location of the hotel is far from the center and near a highway.

This was a real bargain when you compare the comforts with the price. You are a little removed from downtown but the train station is a five minute walk and the 1A bus is only a couple of minutes farther away. Don't discount using busses in Copenhagen - you can transfer between train and bus at no cost within 1 hour. Relatively new hotel in smart Scandinavian design. Two mornings there were no empty tables at the breakfast restaurant, and finding a parking space was a big hazzle, although it was not cheap. The neighbourhood is a bit depressing, and it is a decent walk to reach Central CPH. All-in-all it was just ok, but I cannot recommend this hotel.
Nice location on the water - nice walking area. Staff very friendly and courteous, rooms very clean, nice little bar overlooking the water and food was good. Easy stroll to the meat packing district - great restaurants there. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel, close enough to walk to Tivoli Gardens. The only complaint we had was the breakfast, for example, bacon so overcooked and stuck together like one big mess. It seems it would take very little effort to make a much more presentable breakfast!

Wooden floors in standard rooms in this hotel can create a lot of noise from adjoining rooms or when guests are departing starting at 5am! No soap in bathroom 2 days running, no kettle in rooms unless staying in a superior room. Otherwise staff are friendly and try their best. "Well designed hotel, with unengaged staff"
I recently spent a night at Copenhagen Island during a short business trip to Copenhagen. While the room itself was nice, as was the view out of the large Copenhagen Canal, there were some detriments. The staff were, to say the least, unengaged in providing a decent service, and were unhelpful unless pestered.

The hotel location was great. But our room was very small. Hotel it self was not very accessible from the train station and had to carry all our bags down a big set of stairs as there were no lifts. Hotel restaurant service was very poor. We waited 20 min to order our food and another 45 min for our food to be served. "Flooded room after freak storms."
On the last night of our stay, there were extremely severe thunderstorms that caused damage throughout the city, including to the hotel. Two of the three elevators were out of service and there was water in the lobby. Many of the rooms in the hotel, including ours, were flooded during the course of the storm. The rain blew in through the doors to the […] balcony that were closed tightly. To their credit, the hotel offered to move us to a different property since there were no other rooms availalble in the hotel to move us to. We had laid out wet clothes all over the room and decided to stay rather than move at that point since we were leaving the next day. The hotel was a bit further from the main train station than I expected but it is one stop on the S-tog train from the train station or a 15-minute walk. The walk along the water to center was pleasant. The neighborhood around the hotel was very sleepy and the restaurant options were limited to the shopping mall next door. "nice hotel, close to subway, A/C not strong"
We found the hotel decor very tasteful and modern. Close to subwsy though if wslking, it is 20 mins to the city centet. It was warm (july) and the A/c did not quite do the trick. Food was a bit pricey but overall it was a very nice hotel.

Expensive I thought but a very nice hotel. Location a bit too far from the action of city center. Great for business travel. Walk to the hop-on hop-off sight-seeing bus stop was a bit of a hike. This hotel was great. It is right next to a shopping mall with all kinds of restaurants and a bakery for breakfast. 30 minute walk to the central train station which is right across the street from Tivoli. "On the harbor"
This hotel is a terrific value in a country in which nothing is cheap. It is about a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride into the main part of town, but the walk is along the harbor and absolutely lovely. very small room with room for only one suitcase. otherwise very clean and modern room. friendly and helpfull staff. King bed was actually two twins shoved together. Difficult for togetherness. Very hard to find this hotel if you are in driving yourself. Parking is a problem if you arrive late, as it is everyware in the city.

Stayed for two nights on business. The staff was very accommodating, helping with business center needs, car service, directions, etc. Rooms were small, but well-appointed. Breakfast was way above average. The location is good if you're attending a conference, or wan to shop at the mall next door, but the immediate area has little else to recommend […] it. For being so close to Tivoli and the central train station (I walked it in 15 mins), it has none of the charm of Copenhagen city center. Other reviews cited bland decor and stiff employees and I can see that, but overall, I thought it was a good choice and would make it again - definitely for the price we paid versus what other properties were offering. The hotel had a new, though somewhat sterile atmosphere due to modern architecture. Rooms were clean, adequate size with modern furnishings and attendants quite friendly.
