Baltic Hotel Vana Wiru in Tallinn

Prima hotel. Gedateerd, vooral de kamer. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De locatie en het hotel zelf zijn erg mooi. Helaas zijn de kamers gehorig. Je hoort veel geluid van buiten en ook van de gang, helaas.

Cold floors in the bathroom. Wlan connection kept breaking in the room and in the lobby. Otherwise everything was ok.

Great location! Room was not renovated at all, still clean enough.

Great hotel, great location, really good value for money. Surprisingly quiet considering how centrally located it is. Only problem was that it was quite tricky to find at first because the main entrance is on a side street round the back. The entrance on the main street is actually the hotel bar. Once you find it though its fantastic!

The hotel is in an excellent location just inside the old city walls - ideal for the sights of the old town as well as the numerous bars and restaurants. Not sure if the hotel is actually 4 star as billed - our room was small and fairly basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable enough. The room was at the back of the hotel (ie away from the main street) […] so was nice and quiet. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a comprehensive range of hot and cold fare. A further plus is the in-house pub, which serves reasonably priced food and drink and is pleasant enough to spend an hour or two. All in all, a good value hotel in a great location. The best thing about this hotel is the value for the money, considering that it's in the heart of Tallinn's old town. But the rooms themselves, while not bad, could be better and the decor of the hotel itself felt like a Soviet style hotel (at least in the hallways). We enjoyed our stay at your hotel. However when we were leaving we asked reception to order a taxi to take us to the airport. This was done,but we were charged almost 15 euro compared to approx 7.50 to bring us to the hotel from the airport. The location of the hotel could not have been more convenient for all the sights of the Old Town with it being only a few minutes walk to the main square. Staff were helpful. The rooms are quite small but clean with daily change of sheets but my biggest problem was the lack if air conditioning which meant sleeping with a window open This was ok on […] the first night until they started drilling outside at 8am the next morning and there was also noise from the street until 6am on the Saturday night when the Old Town is much busier. We stayed during a weekend in August. Our room faced a main street. People were out until about 4am, talking very very loudly. There was no fan or AC, so the choice was broiling with windows closed and opening the windows and not sleeping because of all the loud people partying outside. No air con in room so you will need to open the windows. This meant you could hear the noise from the street. If you're a light sleeper this could be a problem. Otherwise I'd say its one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Great location, clean,comfortable room, and friendly staff.

Great location inside the old city walls and just off the main street, making all the sites in easy walking distance. Room prices are very good. Hotel web-site says that it has central air conditioning - this means that it is in the lobby and not the rooms. Breakfast is adequate. Would recommend this hotel.

Very well situated in close proximity to the main square,Comfortable beds, very clean room, although small. Excellent breakfast choices.My only gripe would be the lack of aircon in the room, which meant a choice between stifling heat, or lots of street noise through open windows. Overall though, very happy with this hotel and would return.

Hotel was in centre of old town so location was good. Only problems were a soft bed, which some people might like, and noisy delivery in the mornings, from six onwards. This is probably only an issue if your room overlooks the car park.

Location inside the old town was great. The hotel was good for the price but my issue was the room I was assigned. I was put in a second floor room on the main street where the noise goes on till 3AM then starts again at 8AM. The room has lots of big windows and no blackout curtains so in June it is light in the room from 3:30AM till Midnight. Very reasonably priced. Good breakfast. Rooms were basic, but fine. Great location. Walls were a little thin - not sure I would have liked to have stayed on a weekend when full of stag dos. If you're used to the finer business hotels then this probably isn't for you, but it is perfectly placed for the old town, which I gather the other business hotels […] are not. Lees meer

Hyvä kaikinpuolin, käytän varmasti useamminkin.

Hotellets beliggenhet var fantastisk! 150 meter fra torget i gamle byen, 150 meter til mange store shoppingsentre og 5 min med taxi til flyplassen (kostet 6 euro). Pågrunn av at hotellet er et fire stjerners hotell, hadde jeg forventet mye mer enn det vi fikk. Lite rom, uten noe pynt eller koselige trekk. Men gode senger, rent bad og god frokost! Jeg […] vil anbefalet spa på hotellet! leie privat sauna og boblebad er 20 euro for 1 time, og massasjen er kjempe billig og helt nydelig! Lees meer

Kvalifiserer ikke til 4-stjerners, vi var tre venninner på tur og hadde bestilt 3- mannsrom og forventet da at det var god nok plass til tre på rommet, noe som det slett ikke var. Tredjemann sov på en dårlig sovesofa med en tynn madrass som i tillegg var bulkete, og sofan tok mesteparten av plassen i rommet sånn at det var plass til kun en om gangen […] til å bevege seg. Burde overhodet ikke ha vært mer enn 2 personer på det rommet. Teppet var slitt og flekkete. På badet burde det ha vært en hylle eller to, til å sette fra seg ting. Frokosten var ok, eneste minus var at melken var lunken, ellers var hotellet fint og rent. Lees meer

Ligger meget sentralt :) Kan absolutt tenke meg å bo her igjen!Eneste er at frokosten må dem oppgradere litt! Skal ikke så mye til... Eller så er vi fornøyd med hotellet til den prisen vi betalte : billig!

et helt ok hotell,med flott beliggenhet.rommet var lite,men det ble godt rengjort hver dag,frokost var ok,ikke helt topp.

Kjempe trivelig betjening, altid hjelpsom og smilfull. rett ut i gamlebyens gater. grei frokost og greie rom. anbefales:)

Fint hotell, med svært sentral beliggenhet. Ok buffetfrokost, og fine rom. Vi var 3 stk, og sovesofaen en av oss da måtte ligge på var forferdelig.

Lyst og fint hotell, åperfekt beliggenhet ift gamlebyen. Billig og bra spa! Enkle rom, men god service og god frokost.

Utrolig koselig hotell i gamleyen, med kort avstand til det meste. God service og blidt personell. Herlige spa behandlinger til gode priser. Eneste savn var badekar på rommet, da ikke alle rommene har dette tydeligvis.

Проблем очень мало, но есть. Первая - парковка, вторая - большую семью расселили по разным этажам, третья - мало посадочных мест для завтраков.

Det finns nog inget bättre hotell vad gäller läget. Frukosten är något trög vad gäller service och utbud. Hotellet är nog inget riktigt 4-stjärnigt hotell, men är helt ok. Vi skulle välja dett hotellet igen med tanke på var de andra högklassiga hotellen ligger

Huippusijainti. Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Parkkipaikka oli edullinen, joskin sen saatavuus riskipeliä. Suosittelen lämpimästi.

Tråkigt sista intryck av hotellet då vi ombad receptionisten boka en taxi åt oss till flygplatsen, eftersom engelskakunskaperna inte var så bra hos taxibolagen. Taxin som hon beställde åt oss visade sig vara ett av de icke rekommenderade bolagen, enligt hotellets egen broschyr, och var tre gånger så dyr som de rekommenderade bolagen. Inte vad vi förväntar […] oss av ett fyrstjärnigt hotell. Tidigare under vistelsen åkte vi med Söbra Taxi, som var prisvärt. Lees meer

Vana Viru on loistavalla sijainnilla aivan vanhan kaupungin muurin kupeessa. Hotelli on rauhallisella sisäpihalla, eikä kadun melua kuulu. Aamiainen oli erinomaisen monipuolinen ja maukas. Huone oli siisti, mutta vanhahko. Ainoa selkeä miinus tulee kylpyhuoneen siisteydestä, jossa oli toivomisen varaa.

Trodde vi bokade hotell med jacuzzi, men det ingick tyvärr inte. Varning för missvisande text! Bra läge och rent rum, frukosten var väldigt öststatsinspirerad med sill och lök och grejer.
