Vlakbij Times Square, beter kan niet. Ideaal hotel ook met kinderen. Kamers zijn prima, geen geluidsoverlast van straatverkeer. Behulpzaam personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Dit hotel is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Dichtbij de PATH trein naar NYC. Ontbijt en kamer waren prima!

Mijn dochter (10 jaar) en ik hebben eind april een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences gelogeerd. Dit naar volle tevredenheid! Het hotel ligt op ca. 4 minuten loopafstand van Times Square, de kamer was niet groot, maar prima voor ons verblijf. Er werd keurig schoongemaakt en al het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Men is momenteel bezig met enkele verbouwingen aan het hotel (waar wij overigens totaal geen last van hadden!) die het hotel mijns inziens alleen nog maar mooier en completer in dienstverlening zullen maken. Wij hopen volgend jaar week een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences te mogen verblijven en raden iedereen die een goed hotel zoekt in New York dit hotel van harte aan.
Ligging.
Howard Johnson Flushing ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in Flushing, dicht bij Citi Field, Adelphi University en Arthur Ashe Stadium. In de buurt bevindt zich ook Queens Center Mall.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Gasten krijgen elke ochtend een gratis ontbijt. Naast koffie in de lobby en een lift heeft Howard Johnson Flushing voorzieningen als een magnetron in de lobby.
Hotelkamers.
Bij Howard Johnson Flushing zijn kamers voorzien van onder andere een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker en een föhn. Elke kamer is voorzien van een snelle internetverbinding. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via satelliet en een dvd-speler. Alle kamers beschikken over een bureau met gratis lokale gesprekken (hiervoor kunnen beperkingen gelden).
Op de kamers van Howard Johnson Flushing mag niet worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.

Luchthaven LaGuardia is de luchthaven die zich het dichtst bij de binnenstad van Manhattan bevindt. Deze luchthaven bevindt zich in het noorden van Queens en grenst aan de baaien van Flushing en Bowery. De wijken North Beach en Elmhurst omsluiten de zuidkant van de luchthaven. Immigranten uit meer dan 100 landen leven in dit etnisch gevarieerde gebied, dat ooit hoofdzakelijk Joods en Italiaans was.

Hotel is prima voor overnachtingen. Douche en bad en kamer zijn prima, het was alleen een beetje krap met z'n drieën.

The positive thing about this hotel is the convenience to the subway station and the front office staff was friendly. The hotel itself was cramped and difficult to find. Further, the MTA buses appear to station their off duty buses on the street located directly in front of the hotel. Worked for a 5 hour stay for morning flight. Don't try to park there. Clean but tiny room.

"bad experience"
It's very noisy inside the room. I can't sleep at all, feels like sleeping on the road. The room smells very bad. When I talked to the manager on duty to change to another room with less smell and noisy, she wasn't very helpfull and her attitude very bad. I had very bad experience and will not recommend to any of my friend.
"Take a Chinese vacation without a passport"
The location of this hotel was a major selling point for me: I wanted to explore the Asian community in Flushing and be close to public transportation and LaGuardia. It fits the bill on all 3. It was good. It was a small room. Not much of a window view but service was quick.

We stayed here one night because we were taking engagement photos at a studio down the street from this hotel. The hotel is very small, about 3-4 rooms per floor. It is surprisingly clean though and the employees were very nice and helpful. Don't expect it to be a 5 star Bellagio folks, it's a 2-star hotel in chinatown. You get what you pay for. "Shouldn't have gone hojo"
This hotel is in such a weird location the cab driver couldn't find it. The room smelled so much like air freshner it made me sick at my stomach. The mattress was terrible and sounded like they had a plastic sheet on it. I would not go hojo in flushing ny again. I was in a complete pinch and it was 1 am when I got there or I would have left.

"Bad experience"
The manager on duty asked for my debit card and after swapping refused stating it's not accepted, when I insisted that this is the only card I have, he tried again and it worked. He gave me the room key (card) which did not work, I had to travel 4 times back and forth from the lobby to my room and after 4 trips manager accepted that the lock in the […] room is not working ......... This hotel was strange in design and the neighborhood was a little noisy. It's a pretty basic hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. Free Internet and free breakfast was a nice plus, considering a lot of the pricier hotels charge extra for them. "Don’t stay unless you are out of options"
Overall this hotel is small and that includes lobby, corridors, AND room which was barely big enough to move around without knocking the furniture. The mattress was sagging and gave me a terrible backache in the morning. Carpet in the room was stained. Breakfast consisted of stale bagels/white bread, butter and Jam, cold/hot cereal (no microwave to […] prepare hot cereal) while the coffee tasted like it was made from saw dust (perhaps they recycled previous day coffee powder!). Staff can barely communicate in English. The computer in the lobby did not work and the staff including manager did not seem to care about it. Area around the hotel was typical China Town.
