If you're looking for fancy accommodations, this isnt it, but if you're looking for simple, basic accommodation, a great value for the price. Very basic continental breakfast. Easy access to 747 bus to airport and public transport. Easy access to food/shopping etc.

The hotel overall was clean including the bathroom,rugs,sheets blankets. However the service was terrible! I will not go back to this hotel. First they failed to mention a 100$ deposit and parking fees. Then they also fail to mention that you cannot park on the first level in the parking garage and called our room at 9am to move our car. And lastley […] at check out they tied charging us for towels because they had makeup on them and made us wait til they washed them before we can leave on our 6 hour trip home when it was snowing. This was my second stay at Hotel Le Roverbal. This hotel is close to everything: the airport bus 747 stops a block away, the metro station is in the next block, the beautiful Vieux Montréal is 20 minutes away (but still walkable.), the main bus terminal is 5 minutes away. It's hard to handle lot of luggage, no help provided. It's complicated to park, more than it could. The breakfast is simple, but the chocolate croissant is pretty good.

The location was a block from the Berri-UQAM metro station, so easy access to most of the city. An easy walk to the Village, and also to Old Montreal, so the location was fine. There are about 8 steps to carry cases up when arriving, but a ramp is available when leaving. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was very good with excellent choice. The gel for the shower was empty. Room was very clean but was not made up after 1st night.

I traveled with my mom and my baby and asked for a room with a queen size bed. There was plenty of space to set up the Pack and Play. Location was great. The kitchenette was well equipped. The hotel was really clean and most features were updated. The bed was more like the one I have at home than a lush hotel bed but it did the job. Most of the staff […] members were super accommodating, and they were all bilingual. Breakfast was standard but good. My main complaint (and I think this is common in the whole city, not this hotel itself) is the parking situation. Parking isn't free. I parked before checking in, and used the parking lot right behind the hotel (as did many of the guests). The service was awful and they wouldn't charge me for 24 hours or by the hour but rather I had to leave by noon the following day or I'd be charged for a whole other day. It's nice to have a suite, with a small kitchen and sofa/bed. The neighborhood is in a so so area, but considering the price, it's a good value.Enjoyable weekend trip overall.

Our family stayed suite room. The room is clean and cozy. Convenient location just one block to the Berri-UQAM subway station and a bus-stop. 10 min walk to China town, Old town and 20 min walk to the center of the Down Town. Complementary Breakfast is very nice and good quality. Overall, it seems very reasonable price for suite room with kitchen.

Loved the hotel. Would definately stay there again. The suite with the two bedrooms was a great size and a great price. We had six people in the room and had plenty of room. The room and hotel were clean.

The room was super nice. It was probably renovated recently, as the decoration seemed in the current fashion. There was a flat screen TV, wifi, a fridge, a sink, and even some flatware under the sink. I did not recall the booking as having breakfast, but there was a breakfast buffet included. What prevents me from giving this place five stars is the […] parking and unloading situation. The hotel is on a main road, with no parking directly in front of the hotel. You have to park on the side road, and walk the luggage around. There are several steep steps to get into the hotel. There is underground parking, which is $15 a night plus tax, a half block down the street under another hotel. We arrived tired and hungry, with no idea how to unload the car. The attendant acted like we knew all about the parking deck, and the side unloading zone. There was no valet around, but we certainly would have paid the hotel to bring our bags up and park the car if possible. The location of the hotel was fantastic, it was walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. The staff were courteous. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had a suite with a kitchen, we didn't need it, but it would be great for a longer stay if you wanted to cook or for families. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a nice stay in the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Good location. The only thing I don't like is the parking. Only underground parking was available & they had very limited space in the garage. If you travel with family, make sure to unload all the luggage before parking the car in the garage as there's no […] elevator between the garage & guest room. They offer 15 mins temp parking on Rue Berri (where there are two guest entrance). My family said a taxi driver was yelling at them (in French) while I was at front-desk. The location was great...a block from a major metro stop, easy walk to Old Port, but not too noisy. The room was nice....a suite with bedroom, sitting area, and kitchenette. I was totally not pleased that there was ONE air conditioner for TWO rooms. Our daughter was on the sofa-bed and didn't want the air conditioner on. We were in the bedroom with […] no air conditioner and it got really stuffy even after we figured out how to open the window. That would have given the comfort level of the room a 4 or 5 even. Breakfast was nice (I love not having to "search" for the first meal of the day while trying to sight-see!). Be prepared for a cold, simple breakfast (no eggs or bacon like Hotel LaBelle offers). The room key had to be reactivated at least twice a day. My friend was locked out both nights, and had to wake everyone up to enter the room. The suite wasn't the spacious space shown on the website. Another friend booked a suite via Le Roberval, but ended up in a […] HUGE suite across the road at Hotel Labelle. On top of that, he had a jacuzzi tub and warm buffet-style breakfasts. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff was friendly but less helpful. My issue was with parking. We park our minivan in a parking lot (does not belong to hotel) nearby for $15 and our driver window was smashed. Next two nights we just park on the street for free and everything was fine. Take ALL your valuables out of the car.

When we checked in, we had a friendly person who told us that we couldn't check in until 4pm. That was fine, and they directed us to the nearby (sketchy) parking. We left our car parked in the hotel parking lot (about half quarter from the hotel) and went walking, it was very convenient! There was some homeless people nearby, but we didn't feel unsafe in any moment. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast, it's nothing fancy, but you have a nice small variety to choose from (cereal, coffee, milk, yogurt, bread, jelly, muffin etc) it was a great way to start our day. The location and staff made this hotel a good deal. The staff happily accommodated our request for an early checkin and late checkout. The building itself is dated, however the room was clean and comfortable, the airconditioner worked well and the TV was a new good sized flat panel LCD.
