Park House Hotel in Galway

we stayed for 3 nights at easter ,the lobby and sitting area is comfortable,and spacious. the staff are very effcient and friendly food was excellent ,i would have no problem going back.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Park House Hotel in center city Galway. I was visiting my daughter who is studying at the nearby University and had a delightful stay for 4 days. The room was very comfortable and tasteully furnished. The location is close to all the downtown sights, and right around the corner from the bus station where I arrived from the Shannon […] airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The delicious hot breakfast was included in the price. I did not take advantage of tea in the afternoon, but when I walked through the comfortable lobby there were always enjoying afternoon tea. Lees meer

I stayed at the Park House for a week while in Galway on business and I would definitely come back. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was large, comfortable and clean. The hotel is close to everything in Galway.

From the moment we arrived we found the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. There was no noise or disturbance and we had perfect nights' sleep. We enjoyed excellent full Irish breakfasts and evening meal. We would certainly stay in the Park House again

Our two night stay at the Park House was a really enjoyable experience, from the great welcome to the classic decor and excellent location, the Park house really does it right. The staff were very warm and so friendly that it all added to a really nice vibe about the place. I have stayed around 100 nights in hotels in Galway duing the last 5 years. I honestly regret that i havent found this one earlier. However there were three items that are on my list to look for when selecting hotel that this one failed to fullfill. - There is no possibility of taking a shower if you are longer than 165cm. Beeing 192cm tall the shower […] nostril is on my breast height. - Bathroom was not properly cleaned, shower nostril was covered in dirt and previous guests skin cells. - No ironing board in the room. I will however be back since this is probably the best hotel in Galway. Lees meer

park house hotel just off Eyre square Great location ,walking distance to shopping, bus station ,great restaurants, and some local sights Room was very clean and comfortable. We had a great time staying at the Park House Hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless. The hotel is just beside Eyre Square so is very convenience to shopping, restaurants and bars. Thanks to all at the Park House for a great stay.

Excellent service. Very central and convenient for town centre train station etc. Food and accommodation facilities excellent.

Having stayed in multiple hotels throughout the country this would have to be in my top ten. Great hotel. Very comfortable, excellent location to city centre amenities and nightlife. Fantastic food. Would most definitely return to this hotel.

We had an excellent stay for the second time in this hotel. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located right in the centre of Galway with parking very convenient. Breakfast was fantastic and we had dinner one evening in the restaurant and both the food and the service are highly recommended. We will hopefully be coming […] back to the Park House again. I stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend for 3 days and in general it was very good, the staff are very friendly and there's always lots of staff around the place willing to help you. The location is also excellent... however, I have one serious gripe.... and it's on a fundamental issue for hotels.... the mattress in our room was appalling uncomfortable. It […] seemed fine at first but neither of us could get comfortable and neither of us could sleep that well.... by the third day I was really looking forward to going home and sleeping in my girlfriends bed or in my own..... this should not be the case in a 4 star hortel, the mattress really annoyed me and spoiled an otherwise enjoyable stay at this hotel..... I was very impressed with the price we paid for this hotel. The room was clean and well decorated. The hotel was central and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

Spent 2 nights in Galway using this hotel as as base...the added plus was that there was car parking available which was free with my package.Its very central with Eyre Sq within 100 metres...and all the main shopping areas are within walking distance.icluding pubs and restraunts.No problem with hotel...we requested a non smoking room in a quiet area […] and same was provided. Staff were great and very supportive,food was excellent. Overall we had a great weekend ...with the hotel being a big plus! Lees meer

As usual the staff were excellent and even recognised us on arrival and gave us a great welcome The rooms where very spacious and comfortable and were cleaned every day I cant wait to go back as this hotel is in a great location to City, bars restaurants and shops I would recommend to a friend

Staff are very friendly. Excellent location. The only suggestions would be better bands in it the band was absolutely rubbish on Sat 12th Nov. I think the only thing this hotel is lost for is a leisure complex!! But all in all fantastic hotel.

Perfect location, great staff, beat hotel in Galway. Simple.

Central Location close to Eyre Square, Lobby is overcrowded with seating as is the lounge area, can get very cramped with only a small number of guests. Breakfast is expensive but OK. Senior staff could do with a bit of training, we witnessed a restaurant supervisor, and two managers discuss issues she was having with a restaurant employee in front […] of a lounge full of guests, not what you expect. Everything about the Park House Hotel was just wonderful. The Staff very friendly and accommodating/ Hotel very relaxing and enjoyable. Service excellent and foot unbelievable and a wonderful breakfast. Nothing was too much for the staff.

The Park House is a beautiful downtown hotel with first class service and excellent cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there - everyone was extremely helpful.

Good location, great service, a bit older...kind of remInded us of the Palliser Hotel in Calgary, but not quite.

the hotel overall was nice but nothing special and a few things needed closer attention to detail in regards to what should be standard in a room and bathroom shower facilities. The room layout also needed more attention as the telly was positioned on a locker around to the left of where the bed faced , when there was plenty of room available. Also […] the cleaners are extremely noisy from 9am banging doors over and over. A little more consideration her would be nice.The shower spurted water from a what seemed loose connection and even after adjusting sparayed up and over the shower head. No iron was in the room and it had to be requested also a ashtray despite booking and double checking in for a smoking room. The box of tissues in the bathroom was almost empty and only 2 sachets of coffee in the room per day was a bit tight. Also the 12.50 euro just to have 2 breakfasts brought upstairs to the room is extremely expensive. 6.25 per room not per person would have been more realistic! Overall i would not re -book this hotel in galway or any other park house. Lees meer

Central Galway location that is walkable to all areas. The best part is that it's not in the center of the young party area so you still avoid the street noise. Bed is not that comfortable, but that was the case at most of the hotels we were at in Ireland.

Upon check in we had to make an adjustment as we booked without Breakfast - Rachel was a wonderful help to us in explaining how we went about it and actually talked to the hotels.com rep when to finish the adjustment. The service, room, food, bar and lounge were wonderful. They are in an amazing location and parked the car for us.

We stayed at the Park House Hotel after reading reviews online. It was in a great location, just steps from the town center. There are also tons of pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel was nice but definitely seemed a bit dated. We had parking and breakfast included in our rate. Staff very friendly and helpfull - lounge very spacious, comfortable to have a cup of tea/coffee and a free paper to read. Food quality very good and service excellent. Staff will park your car for you in their carpark if you so wish. Location very good.Good value for money. Had a very relaxed and pleasant stay.

Very good hotel. Stayed there for Galway ironman event. Porter very keen for me to keep my bike in the room for safekeeping - which was thoughful. Very nice staff and centrally located for Galway. Situated just on the edge of Eyre Square everything is in walking distance. The staff were lovely and very helpful.The decor is inviting, lovely lounge area down stairs.
