Prima verblijf gehad. Lekker dicht bij het strand. Het ontbijt was het hoognodige. koffie vond ik niet te drinken. Prima kamer. Lekker groot en licht. Prima bedden en een lekkere douche. Goede restaurants in de buurt. het is wel aan te raden een auto te huren zodat je mooie tripjes kan maken.

Het hotel ligt op ruim een kwartier lopen van het centrum. Je kunt echter ook met de metro gaan. Het dichtsbijzijnde metrostation en het stadion van Valencia CF liggen op 5 minuten lopen van het hotel. Ook de haven kan lopend worden bereikt. Het is een net hotel en het ontbijt is uitstekend verzorgd. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en spreekt goed Engels.

Goede locatie alles is op loopafstand. Mooie en leuk ingerichte kamers. Enige minpuntje is dat de TV het niet deed.

Ligging.
Barcelo Valencia ligt heel handig bij de luchthaven in Valencia, dicht bij Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias en Museum voor Natuurwetenschappen Prince Felipe. In de buurt liggen ook The Oceanografic Aquarium en Plaza de l'Ajuntament.

Barcelo Valencia heeft een volledig uitgeruste spa, een healthclub en een spabad. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar. Dit hotel met 4 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en audiovisuele apparatuur. Dit hotel met een spa biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant, een koffiebar/café en een bar/lounge. "A good location"
Hotel is very close to Oceanarium, opera buildig, IMAX and Science museum, where one must visit at most in Valencia. While you are there, go to an opera one night in that state-of-art building. Staff is very helpful. Parking is 14 EUR a day; however, there is a great chance to find a parking space on the street. Hotel is also close to city center (appx. […] 6 km). Environment is safe both day and night. There is a bidet in the bathroom. Downsides: furnitures are worn a little bit. Shade, controlled by remote buttons, was not working. Lees meer

Great location, right across the road from the Arts and Sciences center. Unfortunately hotel parking is prohibitively expensive.
"Nice location"
Perfect for the Museo de las Ciencias. Clean room, shame that they build things with cheap materials, so they all start falling apart... Breakfast was ok. I have give 4* because the price was very good: I paid EUR 110 for a family room with Breakfast (we are four: 2 adults and 2 children of 2 and 5 years). Parking is 18 EUR per night.
"Barcelo Valencia"
The hotel is conveniently situated a stones throw from the City of Arts and Sciences. You can walk into the city centre in about 20 mins or alternatively take the number 19 bus which stops right outside the hotel to the beach or city centre. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby as well as a few shopping malls and a El Corte Ingles […] 5 minutes away. The room was clean, although showing some signs of age (slight yellowing and peeling of wallpaper). The room we stayed in def required a bit of an update. The air conditioning failed to work upon arrival and it took 2 hours to sort out, which wasn´t great considering how hot it was. Apparently one of the lifts had failed and people were stuck in it thus maintenance were busy (didn´t create the best first impression!). One of the main problems with the hotel is that there are only 2 very small lifts available, and they are very very slow. Taking the stairs is a better option! This needs to be adressed. The location can be quite noisey due to the busy roads, the glass for the windows def needs to be thicker to soundproof the room. And the fridge for the mini bar was useless, it hardly cooled any of the drinks. Having said all of that, staff were polite and very happy to help you. Checking in and out was very quick and easy. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean. The free wi fi was also easy to set up and access. Not sure it´s a 4 star hotel experience, but the Barcelo Valencia is well located, clean and comfortable and I would reccommend it. It just needs to address a few problems (mainly the lift, sound proofing and a touch up of the rooms). Lees meer

"Barcelo Valencia: superb view of park, museums"
This modern building is ideal for exploring the river bed park and ultra modern buildings of Valencia. The rooms have unique design to maximize space, privacy & functionality. The staff is "on the ball" and helped make our stay memorable. We even rented bikes at the hotel to explore the length of the river park.
"Barcelo Valencia Perfectly Placed"
Typical 4 star city hotel. Modern contempory decor with helpful staff great breakfast and small informal bar. The main reason I would return to Barcelo is without doubt the location. It is situated across the road from the City of Arts complex one of the top tourist attractions in Spain added to that bus 19 right outside the hotel takes you to the old […] town, get off at estation del norte, then on the opposite side of the road from the hotel the bus, same number, takes you to the americas port and also the beach. Each journey lasts around 10 minutes and costs approx 1.50 euro. Valencia itself whilst being one of the best city breaks we have been on is also very inexpensive and I would recommend you stay at the Barcelo as it is also very resonable for the price you pay. "Decent Hotel"
Good location close to the city of arts and scienes complex, though a 15 minute walk to the metro to get to anything else. Not much in the neighborhood. Nice hotel, though it can be a bit noisy from all the traffic outside. Overall, pretty good for the price though.

"Déception"
Non, le SPA n'est pas simplement accessible, il faut payer 20€/personne pour 1h de douches en tous genres, sauna et hammam, températures mal réglées, robinets pleins de calcaires, des boutons qui ne fonctionnent pas, des informations pas du tout claires données par le personnel à peine anglophone. Il faut savoir qu'il faut aller en vacances avec un […] bonnet de bain et des tongs, mais pas forcément les tongs parce qu'on est obligé d'enfiler des chaussettes en latex (elles, offertes). La salle de "fitness" est plutôt légère. C'est un quartier assez chic donc aux alentours tout est cher, sauf la cafétéria Glasol qui a été un coup de coeur pour le coup. L'hotel ne possède pas non plus un vrai wifi. Il y a 1 code par chambre (donc pour 2 personnes avec des smartphones, impossible de relever ses mails en même temps !), et alors pour espérer regarder une video, il faut se lever tôt ! El hotel perfecto, solo una pega, los ascensores. Solo hay dos y la gente a la hora del desayuno tenía que usar las escaleras, si estás en un septimo, como fue nuestro caso y con niños, un problema.

Decepcionante estancia en el Hotel Barcelo de 4 estrellas de Valencia. No lo recomiendo en absoluto. Hay miles de hoteles con menos estrellas que almenos reparan los desperfectos de las habitaciones o al menos si no la pueden arreglar no la ofrecen a sus clientes. Yo me encontré con un baño que tenía el grifo estropeado que hacia que mojase hasta el […] techo y que no regulaba bien la temperatura del agua. Pero no es ese el único problema porque cualquiera pensaría que he tenido mala suerte.... cierto..podeis pensarlo.. pero y si os digo que las habitaciones "modernas" de este hotel no tienen puerta en el baño que opináis ¿? ...Te quieres dar un baño y como no tiene puerta y esta tan cerca de la entrada tienes la sensación que te estas bañando en el pasillo del hotel... en fin..lamentable....y eso que no hacia frió imaginaros en pleno invierno en el baño y sin puerta... En resumen: Yo no repetiré nunca en este hotel... allá ustedes...pero el que avisa no es traidor. Lees meer

"Fint hotell i perfekte omgivelser."
Barcelo er et flott utgangspunkt for å utforske Valencia. Vi tilbrakte tre dager her i romjulen med våre barn på 7 og 5 år. Det er gangavstand til det meste hvis man reiser uten barn. Vi gikk til både stranden og inn til byen, men det ble langt for små ben. Taxi er billig og koster ikke mer enn 5 euro inn til sentrum. Buss nr. 19 har holdeplass rett […] utenfor hotellet og går til begge de ovennevnte stedene. Vitenskapsbyen ligger rett ovenfor Barcelo, så beliggenheten er perfekt rett og slett. Rommene er store og fine, og personalet er meget hyggelige. Frokosten er også bra, men har fått bedre ved andre spanske hotell- kjeder. Lees meer

"Escapada de fin de semana"
Nos dieron la 517, con vistas a la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, sin necesidad de pagar un "plus" por ello. La habitación es relativamente amplia, cómoda y la cama enorme. Quizá lo más negativo fue el cuarto de baño, sin puerta, había que mover una enorme desde el dormitorio para dividir en dos espacios la habitación y tener intimidad. Además […] esas bañeras con media mampara son incomodísimas para ducharse y se sale todo el agua, por no decir que el grifo estaba medio roto y salía agua en todas direcciones. La tele, plana pero muy chiquitita para la distancia que hay desde la cama. A pesar de todo, en general bastante bien, pegado a la Ciudad de las Artes, buen servicio de habitaciones, buenas vistas, limpio, moderno y muy tranquilo. "Contratamos una Suite Familiar y no nos dieron"
Contratamos a través de Hoteles.com una Suite Familiar, que consta de un dormitorio para la pareja y un salón independizable mediante una mampara-puerta, donde poner las camas de los 2 niños, y nos dieron una habitación doble normal con 4 camas, reclamamos y nos dijeron que no tenian disponibles suites y que si queriamos nos pasaban a otra habitación […] con una cama grande y 2 pequeñas, que no podían hacer nada más. No sé si el error es de Hoteles.com o del Hotel Barceló, en cualquier caso me parece muy lamentable que ocurra esto en hoteles de esta categoría. Por lo demás el hotel está muy bién y justo frente a la Ciudad de las Artes. Lees meer

Bon hôtel 4*, excellent rapport qualité prix, belle chambre, buffet petit déjeuner et dîner excellent, situation très pratique, à 3mn à pied de la cité des sciences (l'aquarium vaut vraiment le détour) et à 10mn en bus des plages (arrêt bus 19 ou 20, face à l'hôtel) et 15mn du centre ville (bus 19). seuls petits bemols 2 ascenseurs très lents, mieux […] vaut prendre l'escalier et personnel de la réception peu loquaces... mais retour très positif, j'y retournerai ! Das Hotel ist etwas vom Zentrum entfernt, liegt aber gegenüber der Calatrava Oper und ist deshalb für einen Opernbesuch bestens geeignet

Schönes und modernes Hotel; freundliches Personal; Lage etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums (mit Taxi/Bus jedoch sehr gut erreichbar!), direkt neben dem wunderschönen Science Park gelegen; Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis positiv!
Alla reception gentilissimi, ogni richiesta è stata gentilmente esaudita. Camera comoda ,colazione ottima e abbondante.Di f ronte alla Citta della scienza.Autobus per il centro o per la spiaggia davanti all'albergo.
"Bonito, casi cerca, pero falta cuidado en detalles"
Interesante arquitectura. Un poco separado del centro de la ciudad. Al pie (8 minutos caminando del museo de ciencias). No hubo jabón en el baño ni quién lo subiera desde la recepción. Servicios higiénicos incómodos y poco privados. Cortinas de privacidad entre el baño y el dormitorio fallosas. No había quién las arreglara.

Hotellet var veldig bra i forhold til mange andre jeg har bodd på. Stort og moderne rom. God beliggenhet i forhold til Oceanografico og Vitenskapsbyen. Meget bra for barnefamilier! Synd de ikke hadde basseng...
