Goedkoop modern en goed gelegen hotel. Vriendelijke service. Minpunten zijn het ontbreken van een mini bar op de kamer en het feit dat er vlakbij een reusachtige bouwwerf is (het nieuwe Centraal Station) waardoor rustig uitslapen er niet bij hoort.

Good location. Close to transportation, restaurants and shopping. Pay parking or also close to the hotel on the street. WIFI extra and was only in the lobby which was very inconvenient. It was close to the Vienna Hauptbanhof and very convenient. The neighbourhood gets a bit quiet at night but not dangerous. Very well located as it is very close to a shopping street and loads of restaurant around. There is a MacDonald that opens till 1am on a Friday. Room was clean and staff was helpful.

Had to pay for wi-fi which was very slow. Should have been provided for free. Very hot room and couldn't control the heat. Noisy construction next door with window open to cool down room.

Good location, just a couple of subway stops from the city center and pretty close to sights south of the city center like the Belvedere Palace and the Army Museum. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I stayed at Hotel Delta-Vienna for one night with two members of my family while we were returning home to the US from a trip to Rome. We stayed in a triple occupancy room which was clean and very comfortable. There was about a 20-30 minute drive from Schwechat Airport (VIE) by towncar. The best thing about this hotel is that it is 3 blocks from a large […] open plaza with dozens of shops and really good restaurants, bars, and cafes. The downside is that there is a ongoing construction of a large train station going on nearby about a block away so that is quite noisy. There was wired internet service available in the room for a nominal fee and the front desk will provide the necessary line. Not a problem for me because I had a laptop but this would not work for those using a smartphone or some tablets for internet. There is free Wi-Fi in the hotel lobby. There was a dining room off the hotel lobby which was open for breakfast but we did not eat there. There is a couple vending machines in the lobby but they don't have coffee only snacks and tiny bottles of liquor. The hotel seems rather "older", the carpet a tad worn, but it is clean and comfortable to stay in for a few days. Beds were comfortable and there is a small flat screen tv and a safe in the room. There was the largest closet I've ever seen in a hotel room it was practically walk-in. The rates are reasonable and the service was good! Lees meer

Hotel was listed as being 'near the subway stop'. It was quite a hefty walk for the subway and there was a lot of construction making the hotel difficult to find.

I enjoyed my stay at the Delta hotel. my room was spacious and clean, with a fantastic shower. the favoriten suburb has great services and is very close to the sudbahnhof transport hub. the city centre or CAT terminal are only a few minutes away

I do not recommend this hotel - it is next to the building site which is the southern train station - likely to remain a building site for another year or so. Work starts at 7am and you cannot sleep in the hotel after that time because of the noise. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, checked out to go to Baden and then returned for one night. The first two nights were fine though the A/C cooling was not that high but its was OK. When I returned, the A/C was not working. I complained around 4 pm on a Thursday and was told that it would be OK in a while. Went out and came back after 2 hours but […] it was still not cooling. I was told the Central Air-conditioning had broken down and would be fixed the next day. This hotel is next to a construction site and work went on way past midnight. I had the window open for the breeze but the noise was really loud. I know this was a breakdown but the hotel should have the arrangements in place for emergency repairs. I have stayed in this hotel before. Its location is convenient for me as it is near the stop for buses to Bratislava, Slovakia. It is not in a tourist or historic area of Vienna. There is a shopping street, Favoritenstrasse adjacent. It is near the Suedbahnhof, however, this currently is a giant hole in the ground due to construction of a massive new […] train station (will not be complete until 2015). The hotel is close to the U1 U-Bahn line and city buses/trams, and Vienna has excellent public transport. My room was very nice and quiet, and equipped with a (free to use) safe. One does have to pay for Internet access. The breakfast is very good, although not necessarily included. I did not have a car, but there is a garage, so I also recommend the hotel to anyone with a car. Overall, if you are willing to be a bit further from the more interesting/scenic/historic parts of Vienna, then I recommend this hotel. Lees meer

The only reason I wouldn't give a 5 for comfort was that the air conditioning worked but never got to the level that I would have expected. Perhaps it's just what i'm used to, I don't know.

This hotel was listed as close to the airport with a shuttle service however they do not have a shuttle at all and offered to phone us a taxi which would cost 40 euros.It is located in a seedy location and a lot of construction going on.

All other hotels were sold out but I got rooms at the Delta last minute for a business trip for myself and two colleagues. Hotel appears to be mostly an overnight stop for tour buses or railway employees. Rooms were adequate. Minimal luxury, no mini-bars or pay-tv movies. Soap / Shower Gel was in pumps on the wall. Breakfast was a buffet in a large […] very busy room and decent quality. Advice is to go get your coffee pot from the central area as you might otherwise wait a while for someone to bring one over. Decent local restaurant around the corner if you need food in the evening at "Columbus Brau". Schnitzel was ok one night. Rib portions are gigantic. This place has no characterand is the worst hotel I've stayed in in the last few years. If you want to dare iron some of your clothes, you can use the ironng room on floor 3 between certain set times; outside that time, it's a hazard apparently. Oh, and don't think you can phone up about it as there isn't even a phone list that gives you the reception […] number in your room. You have to go to reception and complain. Don't expect room service, there isn't any. If you want a lay-in, expect several annoyed knocks at the door. Food in the bar - no; use the machine - oops sorry, run out. Takes a bit of finding as there are building works nearby. 6 min walk to underground and 4 stops into city centre. Good bathroom but breakfast extra so never had it at the hotel. No Wifi. Charge for internet and need to borrow a cable from the reception. Modern, clean and large hotel.

The hotel is in excellent condition, but the main entrance looks more like a back door. The room and the toillet were clean, and well serviced every day. The TV was relatively small (about 21"), and there were about 16 channels available, but only two of them were in English (CNN, BBC). They offered internet access for a fee (4 Euro for 12 hours), and […] the speed was fast (wired in the room, and wireless in the lobby). However, it only worked for a single physical network address (single computer, for either wired or wireless connection). The breakfast buffet was not worth the additional charge. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a safe and quiet area of the city, and very close to a pedestrian street that has many shops, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, etc. There is an excellent and affordable Asian restaurant nearby, named Sakura -- it is well worth a visit!. I liked Delta Hotel Vienna from the first moments I checked in around 9:30 on a Monday night. This hotel is reasonably priced, but offers amenities of a more expensive hotel. Everyone at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful, and although I speak a little bit of German, when they saw that I prefered to speak English they gladly spoke to me in […] fluent English. When I asked for information about concerts and locations, they were very helpful and even took phone messages and mail for me. The lobby is modern and comfortably furnished, with a bar where you can get cocktails, beer or even tea. My room was very clean, a good size, bright, and had a TV, phone and two single beds, even though I only needed one . The bathroom was very clean and modern (with hair dryer). I felt very comfortable and safe there, and slept well each night. The hotel offered a breakfast buffet for an additional charge, but I preferred to explore the neighborhood each morning and found ample places to have a good and reasonably priced breakfast on the Favoritenstrasse, a large pedestrian street with numerous stores and restaurants. There is also internet access in the hotel lobby for a minimal charge, although the second time I used the computer, it froze up on me. The hotel is near the Keplerplatz subway station, and it took less than fifteen minutes to get the the City Centre.
