The hotel itself is so so. Small, old, and the carpet needs to be replaced. Breakfast was not included (my wrong) and so I got a bill for 54 euros when I checked out. 9 euros per person per breakfast was not only a little too much in my opinion, it was absolutely not worth it. And now for the room... Aavoid any room close to the elevator shaft! The […] damn thing keeps going all day and night. The room on the first floor was small, smelly (because of a restaurant below?) and noisy. We heard people walk above us, cough, laugh, talk and there was a dog barking IN the hotel sometimes?! Way too noisy, and if it was not for my earplugs I would probably have not slept. In the bathroom some things were broken. The state of the room was shabby. A few positive things then: good mattresses, okay shower, friendly staff, and a top location next to a main shopping road that leads to the shore/beach. But I would not come here again. Lees meer

Five minute walk to rail station but a ways from the beach. Friendly staff, nice continental b'fast. Overall a good value if you are not there for a beach hotel. I'd stay again..

My wife and I were surprised that this is listed as only a two star hotel. It is really quite nice; nothing exceptional but everything just fine. Comfortable beds, good sized, clean rooms, friendly staff. However, one negative was the internet. I had to go down to the second floor to access it properly. It worked intermittently. Hotel has free WIFI access on the lobby, this is the only hotel with free WIFI in Eur. It's a shame for other hotels, the internet is so cheap and it's part of our lives. In China, US almost every hotels have free internet access, it's part of the room, just like the bed. Adjacent to the hotel, there is the THAI food restaurant, it's very good. The staff was very cordial and cooperative, but we booked a 'triple' room and got a double bed. We wanted at least 2 seperate beds. When we told them of the mistake they were very apologetic and gave us breakfast free (which I thought was included but was mistaken) and did not ask us to pay the city tax. They offered us another room for the 2nd night […] but it was like a camp cabin and so we chose to stay in the same room. I understood the manager to say that we would get some kind of refund...there was a difference in price per night, but so far I have not seen it on my credit card. This was a great place to stay. Very clean, comfortable etc and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I remember reading that someone else found the shower cubicle too small, which would be true for a large person - but was fine for me. A minor problem was that the WiFi wasn't very strong in my room so skype videos were better in the lobby - although […] email and web access etc were fine in my room. This is an average hotel. About 10 minutes walk from the train station and 10-15 minutes walk to the old city. I think the price is reasonable. The guys at front desk are generally helpful. You will not find kettle in the rooms but the guys at front desk can provide hot water if you ask. The rooms are not huge but is big enough to fit your luggages […] and still have room to move around. I will recommend this hotel if you are on a budget. Lees meer

Old hotel in good location. Everything was clean and tidy and worked well, good water pressure, spacious shower room. By no means luxury but good value for the price.

Overall the stay at this hotel was decent. Only thing I have to complain about is that some of the staff was a little less friendly of helpful than the other members of the same staff.

The hotel uis situated a few hundered yards from the main area in Nice, great location, very handy for shops, bars etc. The hotel is a no frills 2 * hotel, the rooms are functional and clean. However the hotel is starting to show its age, things are slightly shabby and I would suggest the hotle is in need of a refurb. The staff were very friendly and […] helpful. The shower cubicle is an item in its self, if you have a waist size( men) over 34 , you will have no chance of closing the door. This is an small old hotel in between the train station and the promenade. The rooms are very small and outdated but clean. The only complaint I have is that the stairs and corridors seriously need updating. There is horrid flowery blue carpet and an overwhelming smell of pine disinfectant!

The hotel was a great location close to the train station and the shopping boulevard. The rooms were a little worn but comfortable, quiet,very clean and a good price for Nice. The manager was very helpful and made a long-distance call for me to a B&B in Italy letting them know that we would not be arriving until midnight that evening.

I found Nice to be a dump so don't let this review cloud your hotel considerations. The Saint Georges is overpriced for what you get, but it is conveniently located and the staff is relatively friendly. Next time, I'll stay in one of the smaller villages along the French Riviera between Nice and the Italian border. 'Nice' is definitely a misnomer.

The staff was very attentive. The hotel is close to the train, the main street and shopping. The room was clean and comfortable, but the shower was very small.

Hotellet är inte värt 3 stjärnor. Golvet lutade i rummet, slitna tygväggar i orange, myror i badrummet & trasigt golv under den mögliga heltäckningsmattan! "utsikten över "innergården"" var ett smutsigt fönster som man såg 8 stora plaststolar på hög. Priset var ju inte dyrt, men när det står tre stjärnor vill inte jag att jag ska sova 3 nätter i ett […] rum som luktar mögel. Den låg väldigt centralt med gångavstånd till centralstationen och stranden samt shoppinggatorna. Personalen var dock trevlig. Rekommenderar i vart fall INTE att välja detta hotell. Såg dock andra 3-stjärniga hotell och dom såg riktigt skabbiga ut. Om du tänker dig 3-stjärnigt i sverige eller norge så måste du upp på minst 4 stjärnor i Nice, som jag uppfattade det! Lees meer

Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä. Hotelli oli perustason hotelli, jossa oli kaikki tarpeellinen, jos ei vaadi majoitukselta ihmeitä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Aamiainen oli ylihinnoiteltu, mutta niinhän se on vähän joka hotellissa. Ranskassa aamiainen on melko suppea ja niin oli tässäkin hotellissa.

Cet hôtel n'est pas un trois étoiles! J'ai occupé une chambre au troisième étage, celle-ci est occupée par une ridicule douche et le siège des toilettes est dirigé et touche presque le lavabo. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment petit pour 9€ (café, 1 verre de jus d'orange, un petit morceau de pain, 1 croissant de 7cm, 1 pain au chocolat petit aussi et pas […] toujours frais), pour le même prix...voir en ville! Je n'ai pas trouvé les chaînes "satellite", ect.... En un mot, je déconseille l'hôtel! Lees meer

Un hotel sympas, excepte l'ODEUR NAUSEABONDE qu'il y avait parfois dans la chambre.

posizionato bene, tuttavia non ha parcheggio, le camere sono vecchie e la vista interna e' veramente brutta e sporca viene promozionato 3 stelle invece e' un 2 stelle non ha il frigobar in camera, il quartiere e' veramente malfrequentato.

Located near train station and main shopping street which goes to the beach also. In the evening a bit scary and restless area. Room was clean, a bit smalll, but all needed was there. It was quiet and peaceful in the hotel. Internet worked also in the room (2nd floor). Safe was in corridor for additional payment.

We stayed in this hotel for one night and were quite happy as the room was clean and the air-conditioning worked properly. The price in high season is a perhaps bit too high if you compare it for example to the Ibis hotel nearby but otherwise the hotel was ok. Hinta-laatusuhteeltaan yleisen keskiarvon alapuolella; kuten käytännössä kaikki Nizzan hotellit. Siihen suhteutettuna perushotelli hiljaisella kadulla kohtuullisen lähellä mm. rautatieasemaa. Huoneet pienehköjä mutta suhteellisen siistejä ja ilmastoituja. Suihkutilat ahtaat. Ok valinta, jos tarkoitus vain yöpyä ilman erityistä luksusta.

Hotellet ligger bra til med veldig kort gange til handlegate og strand. Kanskje vi nordmenn er for bortskjemte med tanke på standar på hotell, men her var den heller dårlig. Mugg i taket, harde senger og dårleg utsikt. Det var også lovet Internett på rommet, men det fungerte bare i resepsjonen.

Hôtel Saint Georges is located just nearby the big shopping street. The staff is friendly and understanding. It's about a 10 minute walk down to the promenade. The rooms are ok, but the bathrooms are small so I you're a big person you might find it challenging to fit in the shower cabin or to squeeze down on the toilet. Some of the rooms have a small […] balcony (family rooms?) and there's a nice garden where you can eat you breakfast in the morning (good value) or maybe sit down there at night. Positive with hotel is location to main shopping area. Hotel room was noisy, could hear toilet and shower from next door and people above walking around. Bathroom was good quality however shower still had body hair from previous guest on the walls. Aircondition was good but could not be adjusted enough so night time was too cold and we had stiff necks […] in the morning. Lots of mosquitoes so could not open window. Hotel difficult to find due to all the one-way streets. No parking available for guests. Had to find parking house or street parking and pay for it which was expensive. Computer system automatically checked us out a day early so we were locked out of our room. Day manager was friendly, helpful and spoke english very well. While waiting for manager, overheard other guests complain their room was broken in to and belongings were missing. Breakfast was dissapointing. Would not recommend hotel. Lees meer

南仏に泊まった最初のホテルでした。 南仏をメインに旅行しましたが、一番部屋が広かったように思います。 天井も高く、広々としていました。 カウンターのマスターは親切で、 マルシェの場所も丁寧に教えてくれました。

Ottima posizione, camera non grande ma buona per la Francia, pulizia e gentilezza. Consigliato.

Hotellet ligger nært jernbanestasjonen og sentrum, så det var greit å komme seg til og fra. Greit å være nærmest stasjonen, siden det er da man har mest bagasje. (Flybussen går også til jernbanestasjonen.) Rent og ordentlig, hyggelig rom, men noe lytt mellom rommene. Frokosten var litt knapp ift til prisen og norsk målestokk, så man kan like gjerne […] spise frokost et annet sted og få litt mer mat. Blant annet er det en pannekake-kafe rett ved siden av, hvis det frister med pannekaker om morgenen. Vi var fornøyde med vårt valg. Lees meer

Fint hotel med hyggelig beliggenhed og venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Sengene var dårlige og morgenmaden virkelig sløj og dyr, men ellers fik vi mere end man kan forvente på et af byens billigste hoteller. Set i bakspejlet ville vi dog hellere end gerne have brugt de ekstra penge det koster, at bo på Hotel med pool, for stranden i Nice er frygtelig. […] Stenet og beskidt og de private er meget dyre. personnel très sympathique , chambre tout a fait correcte , seul petit pb pour se garer mais bon on est en plein centre!

Un peu cher mais très bien situé, à coté du tramway , 15 mins à pied du boulevard des Anglais. Chambre agréable mais pas très vaste. Personnel accueillant et disponible. Bonne prestation d'ensemble pour un 2 **

Acceuil et staff de l'hotel Sympa. Bien situé dans le centre de Nice et a proximité de la plupart des centres d'interet de la Ville; Shopping, Plage, la vielle ville, etc.....

charmant hôtel très bien situé à Nice (centre ville, à 15 mn à pieds des plages et du vieux nice. Chambre très correcte, bien insonorisée, propre mais un peu vieillote. Petit déjeuner copieux dans une jolie salle avec beau jardin intérieur.
