The building and the location are good, centrally located between Yorktown and Newport News, right on Rt. 17. The service is non-existent. The only time I ever saw anyone at the front desk was when they responded to the buzzer at the. The woman who checked me in at 3 PM emerged from the back wearing pajamas! The trash can/ashtray in the front of the […] hotel piled up with trash and pizza boxes. It was a week before anyone bothered to clean it. The front doors were often locked well after midnight every night. Not good when there is never anyone at the front desk. The price was cheap, though. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. This was our second time and we somehow got the same room. The best thing was the price of our stay this time. We are on a fixed income and the reduced price was a great help to us.

Wonderful hotel for the price. My room and bath were very clean, although the hotel itself is a little run-down looking in the corridors. The desk staff was efficient and nice. Convenient to historic Yorktown, Patrick Henry Mall and other shopping locations. Didn't have much of a continental breakfast, but was very pet friendly.

The hotel is located in a quiet part of York County with easy access to NN, Hampton, and I-64. Not all rooms in the hotel are created equal but this one was great for the price! Wireless internet was a little flaky at times, but definitely recommend this hotel for business travel and couples on the road.

The hotel was a mess. The room was nasty as well as the bathroom. I wont be back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Hotel was clean and neat but sheets had stains, lucky it was on my side cause if my wife had seen it things would have been bad

We were very pleased with the cleaniness and the size of the room. We were also very happy to see a good sized refrigator and a microwave as well as free wi-fi. We had just come from the Marriot Waterside in Nolfolk,Va. As you know that is a very high priced hotel and they did not even have free wi-fi. For the price, it beats the other hotels in the area.

The hotel was clean and inexpensive, perfect for our needs of a place to get clean and sleep. Don't expect much from the continental Breakfast except juice and some cereal choices. Excellent value for our purposes.

First day : Check-in Only one sheet on bed! Second Day: Came back in evening, Room not made-up at all, room and bathroom not cleaned, towels on floor, no tissues, garbage overflowing trash cans. Desk comment both days: "we are sorry but we have new maids". Price Cheap, and free breakfast fare "Fruit Loops" and small bagels. "Yummy" Incidentally, […] I never give adverse comments unless they I had very bad experience I will never stay in a Days Inn, two bad hotels in a row! Lees meer

A convenient place that is not on the interstate. Very comfortable room. Basic breakfast. Microwave and fridge in the room a big plus. Would certainly stay for business again. Would consider for family when touring.

Rooms were due for a renovation a decade ago. Ottoman in my room appeared to be melting. No, I wasn't on anything. Half of it appeared to have melted away. I wish I could explain it in better terms. Complimentary breakfast was... Free, not satisfying, and the most meager I've ever seen. Staff seemed indifferent to the world.

My husband and I came to Jamestown and Yorktown for our 1 year anniversary. We chose this hotel because of how close it was to Yorktown. It was in a great location, with a Food Lion close by and easy access to Yorktown. However, it was not in a nice area of town. The parking spaces were small, so we had to park our larger SUV parallel at the back of […] the lot. At first the desk had us confused with another customer, did not speak english very well, and asked us to sign for a more expensive room. Once that was corrected, the rest of the check-in was easy and fast. The elevator was scary and our room smelled like strong room deoterant. Our ice bucket was filthy but everything else appeared nice and clean. Our window did not have a shear curtain and had a direct view of the parking lot so we had to keep the dark blinds closed. The bed was comfortable and the room suprisingly quiet. The refrigerator had issues staying cool but our room was nice and cool. The biggest disapointment was that the pool was the size of a baby pool and it looked directly into the sketchy parking lot. If we paid more because of pool access, it was a waste of money. Overall, for the price, if you want a comfortable, quiet nights sleep it's worth it. If you are looking for anything more than that, it's just not there. And by the way, the pictures of the room with the king sized bed and tub in the room? I'm not sure which rooms have that. Ours had a standard tub/shower in the bathroom. Lees meer

Bed was badly made, sheets too small for bed.

Breakfast needs work.... not much choice

This hotel was priced great and was definitely within our budget. The rooms were clean and have been well taken care of. The bathroom had tons of counterspace which was really convenient due to the fact that we have a 9 month old and have to wash bottles on our trips. The hotel staff was friendly and the walls were not paper thin which is nice because […] you don't hear anything next to you. I wish we would have went a different time of year so we could have utilized the pool because it is outdoors, but other than that it met my expectations. Lees meer

There was only one front desk person was was never around, you had to always ring the bell. It appeared the front desk person slept in the back room, it was the same person when we checked in at 10:30pm and when we checked out at 10:00am the next day. The hotel appeared to be a cheap operation.

Perfect for price paid. Easy access to area attractions.

I enjoyed the room. I was surprised to find that it was mostly Queen or Kings size beds but for the amount paid it was a good deal. Right in a good neighborhood walking distance of a few stores and delivery available for some fast food. the only thing i noticed was there seemed to be a musty smell in the room when i would walk in but that would go away. […] Overall a very clean and nice room with some of the cleanest carpets i have seem in a hotel. My girlfriends and I needed a place to stay while at the Jazz Festival and this hotel was perfect. It provided us with the comfort and quiet we needed when we returned from hanging out each night after the concert. The hotel is in a great location and near to Walmart, Sonic and Dairy Queen. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Nice continental breakfast. The only dowfall for me was the pool was very small. However, I wasn't there for the pool. Less congested area than VA Beach but easy access to 64 to VA Beach. I would stay there again.

This was very good value, at a remarkably low price. The continental breakfast was pretty minimal but adequate, and we were very satisfied. The room was fine and spacious, everything worked, and we would stay there again if the occasion arises.

I will start off by saying the only really negative comment concerning my stay - the hotel staff is not very friendly. The desk clerk was a little rude when I didn't understand what he was saying to me, but his personality did seem to lighten up a bit when I told him this hotel got basically good reviews, which is why we decided to stay there. Hotel has an excellent location, within 6 or 7 minutes by car to the Yorktown National Park. Great price, clean rooms, friendly staff. Only complaint would be the extremely limited options presented at the continential breakfast each morning.

This place was decent for a short business trip, but next time I'll spend the extra money and go somewhere else. The owners appear to live on the premises and seem to have blurred the line between their business and their home.

Nothing amazing, nothing bad. A typical Days Inn. No frills yet relatively clean and comfortable.

This hotel is almost new but is beginning to show some signs of wear & tear. There were some rips in the carpet of my room and the A/C was either totally off or freezing (couldn't find a happy medium). The toilet leaked onto the floor and the maid only left two (scratchy/flimsy) bath towels. The good part is that the people at the desk were VERY nice, […] especially the younger Indian gentlemen. The breakfast was well-maintained and offered a good selection for a free Continental. The coffee (even in the rooms) was actually Folger's, so it was good. Beds are super comfortable! Nice rooms, clean, quiet.

Great Stay for the cost. Only complaint is in the quality of towels. Towels looked older that hotel but overall GREAT STAY! Friendly staff (family) Will stay again!
