Zeer goede kwaliteit voor die prijs; fantastisch ontbijt buffet, op loopafstand van het oude centrum

Het hotel ligt aan de rivier. Probeer dus een kamer te krijgen met uitzicht op de rivier en daarmee ook uitzicht op de oude binnenstad. Als je ook nog op een hoge verdieping een kamer krijgt is het uitzicht super. Dit ook als je in het gratis bubbelbad zit (wel aan de kleine maat). Ontbijtbuffet is perfekt, uitgebreid en vers. Hotel is tot in de puntjes […] verzorgd. Je kunt gratis met de hotelsloep naar de Wavel-heuvel (wel reserveren). Maar je weet niet of je er ook weer opgehaald wordt (vaart alleen als er ook mensen vertrekken vanuit het hotel). Je moet helaas wel 15 minuten lopen naar het oude centrum, maar het is een leuke tocht. Krakau zelf is heel erg leuk, veel te zien en eten en drinken zijn niet duur. Zelfs niet op de toeristische plaatsen. Kort gezegd, klasse Lees meer

Prima verzorgd hotel met een zeer uitgebreid ontbijt

The hotel is quite new and is nice and clean. It has conference facilities and a conference was taking place during my stay which meant is was a liitle busy and noisy in the lobby area during the day but was much quieter at night. The hotel is about 1km from the main town square but there is a tram stop just round the corner and the walk into town is […] very nice and takes you through the Jewish quarter, which you can easily miss. Alternatively, you can walk along the riverside as it has a nice footpath and if the weather is nice this is a haven for the locals to walk/cycle/rollerblade and sunbathe. The hotel has a very small gym and swimming pool but don't let the photo of the pool fool you, it must have been taken with a special lens as it looks huge in the photo but in reality is only about 12 metres long. The service was very good and all in all a nice place to stay juse away from the hustle and bustle of the main city centre. Lees meer

Great value for money. Hotel boat to Wawel a nice touch. Nice breakfast and restaurant meal okay. Location 20min walk to main square.

We were absolutely delighted when we arrived at the hotel. It is lovely!! Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful reception area! We arrived at 10am and were given the choice of rooms (smoking or non smoking) we chose level 4 so we had a nice view. There is a glass lift which is lovely to look out over the river. The staff were very helpful and friendly, […] they called us a taxi when we wanted to go into the square, gave us a map and tour leaflets. We booked our tours online before we went and to be honest the tours are all around the same price with all companies (No massive need to look around to book). Also, whilst i pre-booked our transfer from airport to hotel I never booked one back. I asked the hotel the day before we were due to leave how long before the flight we should arrive at airport and they booked us in for the hotel taxi to take us - Again this is no more expensive than other taxi companies around so don't panic about price! I think the breakfast in the hotel is overpriced and not really worth the money. We paid for breakfast one day and then went to a supermarket bought some fruit and bread to get us by in the mornings until we walked to the restaurants. Again the restaurant food looks lovely but it is very expensive compared to food in the centre / other restaurants. The location of the hotel isn't perfect, it is about 15/ 20 mins into the centre, but there is a little town about 5minutes away which has everything you need, we ate in the Jewish square a lot, whilst it is called this there are a few Jewish restaurants, there is also a range that do food for everyone! Plus bars and kebab shops, there is plenty around. The fitness centre on the top floor is just perfect! There is a small gym - Can't say we used this! However, we spent all evenings in the pool and jacuzzi, then into the steam room! Very lovely and relaxing before going to dinner. All of the fitness facilities are VERY clean, no problems at all! A very nice hotel with good service, lovley pool and jacuzzi and a breakfeast to kill for! We´ve would absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay. It took 15 minutes to walk up to Old Town, Big Square.

Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet very good. Right beside river. Didn't get a chance to check out pool.

Without doubt the best hotel krakow no worries staying at the qubus

Absolutely everything Hotel Qubus had to offer was faultless. The staff were always helpful, our room was impeccable, breakfast is just unbelievable. We enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna facilities daily. Five Star Luxury in every sense. Go there - you won't be disappointed - we'll be going back !!

Fantastic hotel, very good breakfast and leisure facilities. Hotel is not in a central location but it is in a good enough area and it is a nice walk to the Jewish area and the Old Square.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic. The location was great because you aren't in the city center or the Jewish quarter so you don't get the noisy revelers through all hours of the night. There is a tram line right outside the front door or alternatively the walk into town is only about 15 minutes. You are also close to the big shopping mall which kept […] the missus busy for several hours. Schindlers factory is just down the road. You can also buy tickets for most of the tours in the hotel for Auschwitz or the Salt Mines, etc. We used Krakow City Tours who were the cheapest and also pick you up and drop you back at the hotel, even though the pamphlet says they don't. The spa facilities were pretty good and breakfast was big enough to get us through to supper. Lees meer

It was a good hotell. Nothing to complain about. Didn't check out the swimming pool, but the fitness center was more than enough. Taxi to the centre and old market place cost about 20-30 slotti. You could book many travels to for instance Auswitch, Saltmine and many more from the hotel. You could get it a little cheaper other places, but for us it […] was easier to book from the hotel. Maybe you could save like 10 USD other places, but then you would probably not been picked up at the hotel. Would stay there again. We were a couple in the mid 30's and used to travel around the world and have spent many nights in hotels. Lees meer

Breakfast buffet is really good, if you can get your room upgrade to suite if u stay more than few days, I'm very satisfy and will be back for sure.

Very nice hotel, staff is very friendly and the service was great, the breakfast was nice but expensive compared to other places near by, overall highly recommend the hotel.

First hotel set up pick up at airport. Room was clean WiFi worked in room. Pool and Jacuzzi was excellent with a view of the city. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Boat ride to castle was great.

You would be interested in this hotel if you want a pool and intend to see sights. It's close to Schindler's factory and the Jewish getto. This modern hotel is not as some stated, in a "bad neighborhood", it is old Eastern Europe and hasn't been retouched everywhere. I like to feel I'm really there, so I thought it gave a good feel for the surrounding […] sights. Totally safe and we walked back late at night over both bridges. Down the road there is sidewalk seating with coffee shops, breakfasts & food, and a couple of nicer bars. Positives: lovely pool, sauna, jacuzzi and view from top floor; good beds; you can easily walk to center 15 mins (Americans can take the tram a couple of stops) or the Jewish quarter (good food) 7 min walk; free internet; walked to shopping mall Negatives: Very few rooms with a view; wasn't convinced I owned the air-conditioned level in the room, though it's fine; not impressed with the bathroom cleaning -though acceptable; auto doors to rooms tend to slam shut loudly. Overall we had an excellent stay. Although a little bit of a walk to the main square otherwise taxi quite convenient and walking was fine. Food was very good and the breakfasts were outstanding. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Qubus to anyone wanting to visit Krakow.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Qubus Hotel in June, 2011. Simply put, we could not have been happier with our stay. The staff was outstanding. They helped us check in early (we arrived from an overnight train) when a member of our party wasn't feeling well, arranged tours to Auschwitz and the salt mine, and were unfailingly helpful, professional, and […] polite. We were given a room on the 6th floor with a great view of the river and city. The room itself was good-sized by European standards and included free internet through the TV. The internet itself was shaky, but good enough to check e-mail and the weather. The bathroom was a little small but did include a full-sized shower and tub. The included breakfast was very well-prepared, contained almost anything you could want, and was very tasty. The only downside to the hotel is that it's outside of the historic areas of town and you'll need to master the street car (the #13 is very helpful) or bus system to get there. However, the overall experience and value were more than worth the few minutes of travel time. I would highly recommend this hotel to any travelers into Krakow. Lees meer

Wonderful,helpful staff. Great breakfasts allin all VERY comfortable

We have just returned ( 25th June) and contrary to some reviews we found this hotel ideally suited for our visit to Krakow. I am 64 and my wife 61 but we found we could comfortably reach anywhere in Krakow on foot and it is an ideal city for walking. It is situated "the wrong side of the bridge" in the ghetto area next to Hero's square and a short walk […] to Oscar Schindler's factory, the old jewish quarter is just across the bridge with it's bars, restaurants, cafes and vibrant nightlife,the main square is 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is new modern spotlessly clean and the staff extremely helpful and friendly our room was on thye 6th floor near the swimming pool which we didn't use as we were too busy exploring Krakow and the surrounding area. I must recommend the FREE walking tours each of 3 hours duration and setting off daily at 10 am ( The old town) and 3 pm ( the jewish Quarter) meeting outside the cathedral on the main square. We would definitely stay at the qubus again when visiting Krakow. Lees meer

The hotel offers excellent service, facilities and the staff are very helpful. Good clean hotel with nice rooms. Only downside a little out of town.

The hotel was in a very good position in relation to the centre of the city...easy walking distance and trams if needed The staff were obliging and the food was very good. The room was clean and comfortable Highly recommended

I stayed at this hotel for a week while working in Krakow. Located about 20 minutes drive from the airport (if you take the motorway) It was conveniently located across the river, a short walk from the old town and Kazimierz district. The tram-stop was 2 minutes walk away. I really can't fault it. The rooms were clean and hotel staff very friendly […] and efficient. Secure car parking facilities were excellent and worth the extra cost. The food was good and breakfast had a fine selection. If you are unsure of where to stay in Krakow, I'd recommend this hotel. I am delighted to say that The Qubus Hotel provided us with a first class stay. it was equipped with fantastic facilities including a rooftop swimming pool, surrounded by a brilliant view of the city. the rooms were beautifully presented, with an amazing bathroom! the staff were very helpful and friendly, giving us vital information of the city.

A nice hotel overlooking the river Wisla. Staff are friendly and multi-lingual. The break-fast buffet is good. They have complimentary boat rides to Wawel Castle that depart from the hotel every hour until 16.00, which was handy. There is a souvineer shop at the hotel where you can book guides and tours to places like Auchwitz-Birkenau, Salt Mines, […] Krakow City Centre tours, etc. However we booked a tour to Auchwitz and got a bit mis-led as the tour was meant to include a 15-minute dvd introduction in the van and we were under the impression that it was a small van or taxi. Instead, we got picked up by a small bus and the driver picked up a dozen more people for all around the city which took about an hour before we were finally on our way. The steam room and sauna were nice. There is a nice pool area at the top floor with city views, however unfortunately the pool is small and not always heated. The jacuzzi is also small and as a result we were unable to use it as it was always packed with people who seemed to never want to get out!! The area surrounding the hotel isn't the most pleasant of areas. You will see buildings that have not been rennovated since the war and the effects of the lack of spending during the communist era. There seems to be an industrial district within half a mile of the hotel (close to Schindler's factory). The hotel is well located for the ghetto wall, Schinler's factory, and the Jewish Quarters. However it is a bit of a distance from Wawel Castle and the main market square, which is about 20-25 mins walk. Lees meer

Lovely hotel and location. short walk over the bridger to the city centre. ( which is stunning also). the breakfast was excellent with much variety offered. The big drawback for me was the service at dinner. The waiting staff once the meal was served disappeared. it was difficult to get their attention. just a bit of extra training here. As i was on […] business the meeting room and internet / computer room was excellent and free of charge. I had many meeting here. overall good experience. outside lift with great views at night. Great Convention center and brand new hotel. Great food and accommodation. Close to city square, Wawel Castle and Schindler's factory - great city to just walk around in - very warm and cozy - English is spoken in most places. This hotel also has a Travel Centre - and can arrange tours competively to all the sites (Salt Mine, Auschwitz Wawel, etc) This […] city is a must see if you are near by - just a jewel of a place. The Hotel, set in the old Krakow Ghetto, is extremely clean and maintained to a very high standard. Close to Schindler's factory and alongside the river vistula. Situated about a mile from the City Centre the Hotel operates it's own river taxi service(free to patrons) from the Hotel to the heart of the City. Excellent service, well maintained although the air-conditioning in the room didn't work. The pool, sauna and steam room were fantastic. The views from the rooftop pool and jacuzzi were great. Breakfast was very great.

Rooms a little small, but have what you need. Access to pool and gym. This was vacation, so perfect. Normally I come on business to Poland, so wanted to try something new and happy I did. Will have to try Qubus in Lodz out next.

The hotel is a great value for the money. Location is excellent, especially if you have a car. Swiming pool and exercise area are outstanding. Room are comfortable. I would mark down the hotel for ill fitting toiliet seats and cleanliness.

Excellent buffet breakfast. Good location. Easy walking distance to Jewish Quarter(5 minutes) and Old Town (20 minutes)or take tram to Old Town. Shopping center 5 min. walk away. Very clean room. Large enough room and comfortable beds. Enjoyed swimming in rooftop pool although not large. Would stay here again. Good value.

Excellent hotel in I think probably the most interesting area in Krakow (the ghetto). Fabulous pool/jacuzzi with stunning views across Krakow. The hotel staff were all very friendly and efficient, room was spotless, and breakfast had a very good choice of items. Could find no faults with hotel and would recomend for anyone who doesn't mind being slightly out of the centre of krakow. easy transportation links.

Only downside was the changing rooms for swimming pool being closed meaning no changing facilities - but view from pool makes up for that.
