Comfort Inn Kalamazoo in Kalamazoo

My friends and I chose this Comfort Inn over the pricier stay at the downtown Radisson for a weekend trip for Kalamazoo´s First Friday Art Hop and a Saturday visiting other artsy venues. Less than a mile from the Park Trades Center, it was easily accessible to the places we wanted to visit. Free downtown parking was also a plus. The hotel was clean […] and entirely smoke-free. Breakfast included freshly made Belgian waffles, pre-cooked fried egg patties, bacon, hard-boiled eggs, apples, oranges, bananas, cerals, toast, yogurt, juices, tea, coffee, and milk -- in an enclosed area on the first floor tended by a smiling young woman who really seemed to enjoy her job. Lack of beds bigger than doubles made a tight fit for our group of four, but the inclusion of a rollaway bed (hotel policy & lack of space precluded a second rollaway) made us more comfortable. "I found the hotel & my room to be very clean & spacious. Staff was friendly & the complimentary breakfast was good with lots to choose from. Noise was an issue, although I have rarely stayed in a quiet hotel in my lifetime. The hotel was average to above average overall. Clean and well maintained, but that is expected. Continental breakfast was open 6:30 to 9:30 am. Rooms are a little expensive at over one hundred dollars per night.

Friendly staff, good price, close to family. Clean room, comfortable bed. Could use bedding update. Not a destination or exciting but served our purpose of clean room for sleeping while visiting family at a reasonable price point. Good coffee with adequate breakfast.

We had a very good stay over the weekend. The rooms were clean and the service was excellent.

Great hotel. Super clean, very nice. Great breakfast, and great WiFi. The only thing I could see being a problem is their small and limited parking lot, but I was always able to find a spot so it was not a concern to me.

Clerk was a trainee and asked for credit card even though I'd already paid through Expedia. Ran my card, said it was declined...twice. Then they figured out there's no need to charge me. My credit card company said they actually charged me on one of those "declined" attempts. Obviously the trainer and trainee needed a bit more training. Too much furniture for bicycle touring (bike in room). Location fairly good but high traffic on immediate streets (concern for bicycles not cars). Trail close by..............

Arriving at the hotel, I received propmt courteous service. The lobby was quite clean and welcoming. Upon going up to the room, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness. The only negative thing I have to write about this hotel is there was no comforter on the bed, just a sheet and blanket. Virtually no parking. Got in very late at night and all doors are locked and the only parking was behind the building in a very dark, unsafe feeling area. Could barely fit driving the car between the back of the building and the parked cars. The elevator made a sound like it was crashing when we first used it to go to our 3rd floor room and the night […] attendant asked us if it was broken. Ended up using the stairs the rest of the stay. Went to get ice for an injury and the only ice machine is all the way back down on the first floor. Curtains on the windows do not close, only the sheers, so no way to keep out early morning sun and have privacy. Paid way too much for this type of experience for a quick one night visit. Lees meer

We stayed here for one night because we wanted to be within walking distance to Bell's. It was perfectly fine for that, though by no means a fancy hotel. A proper 3 star hotel, with breakfast included. Would stay here again for the same purpose. Otherwise not much around there.

I stayed at the hotel overnight due to a wedding in the area. The staff was friendly and the room was adequate although instead of a comforter or duvet, there was only a light blanket on the bed. Not really adequate for a Michigan winter. My main complaint though is lack of parking on site. They have a very small parking lot and I ended up parking on […] the street 2 blocks away. The desk clerk went out of her way to get us a taxi, and was very pleasant to everyone. Better than average breakfast! Excellent centralized location.

The hotel was a cheap cab ride to anywhere you want to go. It has some bars and eateries in walking distance too. The free breakfast was good for hotel food. I would definitely stay here again.

ツインタイプの部屋に宿泊しましたが、少し広めだと感じました。 狭い浴室にはシャワー浴槽とトイレしかなく、洗面台は浴室とは別に部屋の入口ドアの場所にあり、部屋との仕切りやドアもないので、シャワーを浴びる際の脱衣場所がなく困りました。 タオルは豊富に置かれてましたが、アメニティはシャンプー、リンス、固形石鹸しかありませんでした。 ホテルの洗濯サービスもありますが、１階奥にコインの洗濯機と乾燥機もあるので、とても便利です。 朝食は、エントランス横に簡単なアメリカンブレックファストがセルフサービスで用意されており、ここは周囲に何もない場所にあるホテルなので助かりました。 でも、パンは日本人の口には合わないと思います。 自分で焼くワッフルは美味しかったです。 車がないと不便な町なので、タクシ […] ーを利用しましたが、ホテルで呼んでくれるタクシーはリーズナブルで呼べばすぐに来てくれるので便利です。 インターネットも無料でつながるし、田舎町のホテルとしては満足しました。 Lees meer
