Nice hotel. Definitly got my money's worth.

The front desk really worked with me as there were only smoking rooms available and I had made a reservation on this site for non-smoking. I have asthma (and a medic alert bracelet). They did not say, "too bad", but instead worked and found me a nicer room without charging me more. Will always stay there from now on

We normally stay at el dorado. Horseshoe room was bad. Needs to update and remodel!

Very enjoyable, room was very nice, a lot bigger than I thought, room service was very good.

The food availability was not good. The buffet closed early and the 8 oz Bar had a fan on during breakfast to dry the carpet that had been cleaned the night before. There should be a safe way to get to the Boardwalk, too.

everything was awesome, except the shower/bath water would not get hot. we had to take cool showers.

Friendly and courtious staff. Would definately recommend to others.

We had a luxury king room and it was very nice. The room was very large, deocrated beautifully, and the beds were comfy!

People next door to us were very loud early in the morning. I can hear them arguing w/management thru the walls.

I will not stay here again due to changing $11.99 a night for internet! This is outrageous!

I had booked a room with double bed.they cave me a single room. Whenthey changed my room the toilet would not flush I had to call twice for them to come and fix it. They sent someone he said that he fixed it. When we came back later it would not flush again and the bath tub drained real slow so they came back up. It took a while for them to get to  […] it. We had an evening for ourselves and spent it at the Horseshoe. The casino is a little small, but we had a good time. The room was amazing. A huge whirlpool tub and one of the best showers ever. The bed was clean and comfortable. The pillows needed to be retired, but there were plenty so it wasn't too bad. Looking forward to staying again.

Great hotel all around with live music and great internal restaurants to keep you entertained between casino visits.

We were quite impressed by the hotel and the rooms. The only problem we encountered was a bad smell on our floor, possibly a dead rodent. But our stay there was so wonderful that we plan on staying there again the next time we are in the area.

I checked in very late (11:00 pm) as my flight was delayed. I had to wait nearly two hours for them to have a room ready for me as no clean ones were readily available. Will think twice before booking with this hotel in the future.

The most pleasant part was my check in and out at the front desk. Both clerks were pleasant and made me feel special. The view from my room was awesome, it over looked the Red River. I will stay in the Horseshoe on my next trip.

This hotel provided an excellent value for the price we got. Beautiful room, great view, convenient to Interstate on/off. Staff was great and restaurants provide outstanding food with many options.

Love it! Making reservations to revisit this summer

Great location, wonderful staff. Large rooms, and outstanding bathrooms. A great time hotel resort.

I requested a non-smoking room because I have allergies. Was placed on a non-smoking floor, but the room reeked of cigarette smoke. The ozonater brought to my room after I reported this problem helped very little. I am sure the smoke odor permeated the drapery, the carpet and the huge L-shaped sofa in the living area. I loved the accomodations---the […] large bath, the space, etc.., but the smoke odor is a deal-breaker. I will seek a room in a smoke-free hotel instead. Lees meer

Rooms getting very dated, need to redo, carpet in rooms is grungie, old style tv's. Otherwise nice place to stay.

This hotel needs to be updated. The tv's are outdated in the rooms. The size of the Premium rooms are nice with the jacuzzi tub but the room itself has the feeling of the movie Casino!!! I only booked because it was cheaper than my usual hotel, Hampton Inn. Fast check-in. Very nice choice of restaurants downstairs. Week day rates are very reasonable […] but weekends when there's activities in the city, don't count on it. Lees meer

This is a tough review because the front desk was great along with the valet and the rooms were very nice. Everything else on the property was a huge disappointment. The Casino was close to the worst I've ever been in and the Casino Host's were some of the worst I've seen. Not paying any attention. When you are playing 3 hands of blackjack at $100-$300 […] per hand and getting rated at $40 a hand for a third of the time, makes no sense especially when that is the most action they have seen in a very long time I am sure based off the clientele. Food was below standard as well. I couldn't get out of here quick enough. If you want to sleep and get a nice room you are safe here but stay away from the rest of the property. Lees meer

We only stay at your Hotel when we visit your area. The only problem we had is with the noise with the rooms across the hall from us and next door to us. The children were left alone and from what we heard they had several complients with those rooms all night even from us because they were hiting the walls, screaming, you name it. I was sold a King non-smoking and they did not have one available on Friday. That was not preferred but tolerable, especially when they said they would upgrade us to a premium room the next night that was Non Smoking. They could not upgrade us on the second night and ended up putting us into a smaller room than we had on Friday night that was non smoking. […] Bottom line is they are very busy and very accomodating to the repeat and Diamond club members. If it is your first stay and you are not in the club. You will not get what you want. Lees meer

The rooms were very clean & beautiful. My complaint would be that you have to pay for internet use! This is this 1st hotel I have ever stayed in that I had to pay extra for internet!! Other than that AWESOME!!
