The Fitzwilton Hotel ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in het hartje van Waterford, dicht bij Waterford Treasures Museum, Edmund Rice Heritage Centre en House of Waterford Crystal. In de buurt liggen ook Garter Lane Arts Centre en St. Patrick's Church.

"Fitzwilton Hotel Waterford - not great"
Hotel is not in a great location and parking is limited. Get there early if you want to park under the Hotel. If not, you have to leave your car over night in a public car park for 5 Euro in an area that isn't the best and then drag your luggage across two main roads to get to the Hotel . Not close to many good Restaurants or Bars. Had to walk some […] distance to find a decent Restaurant. Breakfast good and room was clean and fairly modern but not a great outlook if that is what you want. Didn't eat there in the evening but it appeared expensive. Lady on Reception was very nice. If visiting Waterford again would probably opt for a different Hotel. Lees meer
Fantastic hotel, warm friendly courteous staff. Extremely helpful. My stay was only for 1 night but it was memorable. The bed was so comfortable, slept so soundly.

"Too Expensive for What you Get"
The Fitzwilton Hotel is not in nearly as good condition as the pictures on the website so we felt the price for the quality was not what was expected. They did not have enough spots in their parking lot for all guests, so it's misleading that they have on-site parking, we had to pay to park in a lot up the street. In addition, our room was on a busy […] major street and as there is no A/C, sleeping with the windows open was very noisy. That said, staff were friendly and the room was clean, mainly just way too expensive for what you got, and we didn't even get breakfast included with our rate. Lees meer
"mixed stay"
the hotel is nice not a 4star though.parking is a joke u need to be early as there is only parking for about 40 cars to the 91 room??.saying tat the staff are very good and is within easy walking distance of thing to do and its very well run
"Waterford at the Quay"
the room was quite small but I guess that is typical in Ireland and Europe. I am just not used to it. They had a very nice breakfast and the staff was superb! Very friendly.

"The Fitzwilton Hotel in Waterford"
Hotel is centrally placed and was easy to find. The meal in the restaurant was excellent in both quality and value for money. The meal we ate in the Met Bar was of equal quality and value. Staff couldn't help us enough from making reservations to giving directions. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Would recommend staying here to anyone.

This was a nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was a good size and was very comfortable. Location wise it was fine, only about a 5 - 10 minutes stroll into the city centre. "Not a 4 Star Hotel by any means"
The Fitzwilton Hotel is an okay hotel - but based on price relative to other hotels nearby and 4-star rating, it is very disappointing. Rooms were sweltering hot even on a cool October evening with radiator off, which meant leaving window open, which was not ideal when overlooking a very busy and noisy road. There was no fridge even to keep some cold […] water close at hand. The car-park is very small, with very tight spaces - we were lucky to get a space at all, even early in the day. My room was uncomfortably small, definitely unsuitable for two people despite being sold as a double room.
"The Fitzwilton Hotel - Terrible staff"
Two rooms were booked and only one room was available. No explanation was given or available. I spent the following day arguing with staff because the didn't want to reimburse for the room that was not available. "Best given a miss"
Very dissapointing stay in this hotel. This is a fairly new hotel and the rooms are beginning to look a bit tired already, broken sink, broken toilet roll holder, chipped paint on the skirting boards. The service from staff at breakfast time which costs €10 was terrible.
"Waterford hotel of the welcomes"
From the minute we arrived in the Fitzwilton Hotel we were made to feel welcome and every care was taken to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, efficient and very businesslike. "Not quite four star"
The hotel was overall good but felt it wasnt quite 4 star standard. The furnishings and finish in the bedrooms were tatty and of poor quality but the staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. If Waterford is on your agenda, this is definitely a nice place. Parking is limited in the garage and very very tight. As a side note, we went to Waterford hoping to check out the Waterford Crystal Factory. When we arrived we discovered it had closed down permanently in January. Apparently the new […] owners moved the manufacturing plant to Slovakia. We would have never stayed a night in Waterford had we known this. The city has nothing much more to offer.
