great location.!!great restaurant !!

stayed in the hotel before but wont be back ,confusion over pre booked meals very small portions ,hotel closed the bar at 11 when the game was a late kick off .very small old rooms need updateing and it wasnt a cheap hotel either .

When I looked at pictures of hotel rooms and read the description online sir Thomas hotel described itself as "luxury". Not at all. They promised luxury bedding and all we got was white plain bed sheets, a tiny 15" tv with hardly any programmes, a bathroom that needed renovating and bathroom accessories that had been used before, I.e. shower gel and […] hand wash. I recently stayed in the local days inn hotel which was the same price and far better value for money. I stay in a lot of hotels and in terms of value for money, this is the wors I've stayed in. Shabby hotel There are better deals at better hotels. Will not be back. Only plus is the location.

There were a few positives on staying this hotel, such as: the staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was good and there was a lift to get up and down the stairs (convenient if your on the middle or top floor as there are a lot of stairs). However, the negatives of this hotel completely outweigh the positives, the negatives being: the TV […] set looked like a throw back from the 1950's and had no remote, also you are very limited on what you can watch as there are only 5 channels which were misnamed. The curtains in the room didn't cover the windows properly and had mould on them. There was a big rip in the carpet that they had tried (and failed) to cover with the bed. We booked a double room, but got a twin with the beds pushed together, one of the mattresses didn't have a bed sheet on, and the flat sheet had holes in. The light in the entrance of the room flickered on and off. The hairdryer and tea set in the room, resembled that of a children's play set. All of the furniture and decor in the room was very outdated. Moving on to the bathroom, we had somebody elses hair in our plug hole and the bath tiles were mouldy. There was no iron provided, which is false advertisement as it was stated that there was one when we booked. There was no fire escape from the top floor other that the stairs, which would be no use if the stairs or lower floors were on fire. The lift was very slow. Rubbish service for the breakfast and not much choice! We would definitely not recommend this hotel to anybody! Lees meer

Very convenient location. Close to train station, shops, bars and restaurants. Honest clean simle and good value.

I was very impressed with my stay. The staff was pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and the price was excellent.

This hotel is on a very busy street that has a lot of traffic ( buses) running on it. So, it is noisy but it is in good location near the Cavern Club.The walls in our room could use a good washing as they were quite dirty. But the bed was clean and comfortable. The restaurant had very good food.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Liverpool, its' location is brilliant - everything is in walking distance, and the hotel staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Despite this hotel being in a lively part of Liverpool, our sleep was not disturbed at all. The room was not huge but suited our needs totally. Free wifi is a must nowadays yet so many hotels don't offer it - the Sir Thomas DOES. The brekkie was fab too - toast and cereals and then a full cooked breakfast - all included in our room rate. Very friendly and so convienient. The breakfast is always excellant also.

a bit noisy but we ask for a central hotel so it was to be expected, the staff were very friendly. all in all a very comfortable stay.

We stayed here for one night and it was perfect walking distance to all the main attractions and was very close to Mathew Street. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very basic but clean and comfortable and was ideal for just one evening. The breakfast was lovely with lots of variety, would definetely stay here again :)

First, the bad, if you can actually call it that. The room was small, but it is Europe. You kind of get used to that. There's no elevator (lift) so getting luggage up and down the stairs can be problematic if you're not physically able. Now the good: The location is great. Nice neighborhood. Quiet. And, as small as the room was, it was still equipped […] with ac which actually came in handy on our trip. The price was also great, considering the location. My wife and I travel to Europe every year and have stayed in hotels all over the continent. For us, we typically want nothing more than a clean, quiet room in a good location. Over for match with six year old son Great location Room very small and of poor quality.also was cold and draughty.Showerhead and hairdryer faulty Breakfast cold and of poor quality Staff very pleasant and courteous. Overall very expensive for what is on offer and wont be coming back again

stayed in the sir thomas for one night staff are very friendly and helpful the hotel is just around the corner from all the nightlife and shops you could not find better for the price we will be back

We were looking for a cental hotel & this was nice & central. After having made a booking my husband found some bad reviews of the hotel so i was a bit woried, but as we were only going to be there for one night i said we'd go ahead with it. The staff were very helpful & although we arrrived too early for check in they took our case to leave in our […] room for when we returned later. The decor of the room was wonderful, nice & plush, plenty of cussions on the bed, etc. The usual tea, coffee, water, hairdryer & iron in the room & an electric fan. If your 2 lads out for a night or 2 its perfect, esp if your a liverpool fan!! 5 min walk from shopping center of the city and 100m from Jamie Carraghers Sports Bar.

Vi var i Liverpool fra onsdag til søndag, og bodde her på Sir Thomas, hvor shopping og festing var formålet. For det første er det er veldig rimelig sted, med mye utbytte for prisen! Fine hotell rom, utrolig god service, de hjalp oss med alt vi trengte, og beliggenheten var perfekt. 위치는 라임스트리트역에서 가까운편이나 케리어끌고 왓다갓다하긴 약간 먼감도있습니다. 와이파이는 뜨긴하는데 연결이안되서 잇으나마나고 침대는 스프링이 좀 구리고 화장실은 깔끔하나 세숫대 수돗물이 찬물 따뜻한물 따로나오는게 안좋음.

Perfekt läge och trevligt men väldigt trafikstört och strört av nattlivet.

Buen hotel para visitar la ciudad, muy bien situado, a 5 min de la zonas comerciales y de The Cavern. Con posibilidades de aparcamiento en la misma calle. Su buena situación y las ventanas al exterior hacen que se perciban los ruidos del sábado noche, pero no es un gran problema que condicione la elección de este hotel. La cena en su restaurante, de […] gran calidad. Pero el desayuno y la atención en esa sala dejaron un poco que desear, en cuanto a calidad, lentitud y falta de información del personal. Bra hotell for ett lagt pris. Mycket ljud och huset skakar nar trafiken utanfor ar som varst. Dock skulle jag rekommendera det som ett weekendhotell om man skall "ut och gora Liverpool", inget mysigt hotell direkt, men passar om man skall bara skall forvara sina saker och sova billigt.

Topp service. Topp betjening. Topp Frokost. 100% fornøyd. anbefales på det sterkeste hvis du ønsker et bra opphold , sentralt i Liverpool til en rimelig penge.

Sir Thomas hotell är ett av de absolut mest prisvärda hotell jag bott på. Fantastiskt duktig,trevlig och hjälpsam personal både på hotellet och i restaurangen. Jenny i receptionen,fick lägga ner lång tid för att fixa en biljett åt mig till en John Cleese show på teatern,men gav sig inte förrän det var ordnat. Guldstjärnor till samtliga i personalen. Vi overnattet på Sir Thomas Hotel to netter ifm. fotballkamp på Anfield. Hotellet låg svært sentralt til i Liverpool med gåavstand til det meste. Flott rom i første etasje som var reint og fint. God frokost og fin bar liggende i hotellbygningen. Litt støy fra trafikk, men dette var egentlig ikke til sjenanse. Anbefales!

Erityismaininnan ansaitsee hotellin aamupala. Hotellin on jo vanha ja niinpä esim. ikkunoissa on brittityyliin vain yhdet lasit. Koska hotelli sijaitsee vilkkaalla liikennepaikalla, kuuluu liikenteen melu huoneisiin selvästi, samaten viikonloppuisin juhlivien ihmisten äänet. Utmärkt läge med närhet till Centrum och mathew street. Ganska mycket störningar från trafik och kringliggande barer. Man förstår varför det är så få bilder från hotellet på hemsidan. Trots många brister så är det ändå ett ganska ok hotell, mest tack vare det utmärkta läget.

En verklig hotellpärla till ofattbart lågt pris för den standard som fanns. En härlig gammaldags hotellmiljö lite anpassad till modernare intryck. Ligger helt perfekt med bara 5 min. promenad till nöjeskvarteren och shopping. Och inte minst "full English breakfast"ingår! Det är verkligen inte många hotell som nuförtiden kan skryta med det!
