Imperial Inn in Oakland

a company like your ...how can you even recommend a hotel like this ....this hotel catered to only hookers and drug dealers ... i was told from the desk clerk not to go out after dark ...i recommend you take this place off your list i had to wait this long to reply so that i could be civil i really hope you take this seriously this place does not deserve […] another customer.. i would be scared for the families with kids who stay there ..........yours truly a concerned customer....... The front office service was prompt and courteous and the room large and comfortable. It was a bonus having Carl's Junior on the adjacent lot. The immediate neighborhood was not encouraging of a walk after dark but the overall proximity to Downtown Oakland was an advantage.

This is a good, clean place to stay.

This hotel is fine for just sleeping. We stayed here while we were working. It served it purpose, but the neighborhood is not so great. Our vehicle was broken into on our last night there. But then, it's Oakland so I shouldn't be surprised. The owners of the hotel were nice but no help.

to start the hotel did not supply the items they said they would -- there were no toiletries in room, no newspapers, and the towels supplied for a king bed room were not sufficient for one person. we had to go back and ask for more. having said that though the room was quiet and we slept very soundly. we were not at all comfortable to go out for a walk […] and drove everywhere but my meetings were close (within a 1-1/2 miles) so not a big deal. for the price it worked but i wouldn't go back and i couldn't recommend it both for the area and the service. I would not recommend this hotel to any potential guests. The room was horrible and smell in the hotel room enviornment is not healthy nor pleasing.

there was actually graffiti on the walls...we switched rooms three diffrent times, and on every single rooms comforter had blood stains on it..OMG.....we finally settled with the blood stains on the walls room....i wanted to cry

I would never stay there again nor recommend it to any one I like! I had to get the key re-keyed to get in, I had to call to get a hairdryer, there was no tissue paper, the volume on the TV did not work, the room had definitely been a smoker's room and they tried to pass it off as a on'smoking room and everything was old (bed, bed linen, curtains, tile) […] and not in the best condition! This is a reasonably nice motel to stay at. The place is well kept, considering how low the price is. The neighborhood is probably a 3 or 4, with 0 being the South Bronx and 10 being Chevy Chase. I grew-up in a pretty sketchy neighborhood of Minneapolis, so I do not mind staying at a motel in a mildly rough urban environment.

THIS HOTEL WAS HORRIBLE. i left after a day

1. You offering this hotel as hotel and it's a motel 2. Building overall it's horrible 3. Room smell bad

close to BART. close to restaurants. windows and doors poorly locked. easy to gain access if someone is determined. Shower curtain will fall if you try to hang towels on it and it's very high up. If you're short, you won't be able to hang it back up. Good coffee. Good tv selection.

Nous avons réservé au mois d'août 2011 une chambre non fumeur. On s'est retrouvé dans une chambre fumeur dégueulasse (très sale, taies d'oreillers avec des moisissures). Une odeur très forte de la cigarette imprégnée dans tout (rideaux, lit ..).Le lendemain on nous a attribué une chambre non fumeur avec un léger oudeur de cigarette. L'accès internet […] inexistant et les taies d'oreillers me semblaient pas très propres.Le personnel est à l'écoute et présent Lees meer

Es un hotel que tiene justo lo necesario. Por el precio fue una buena alternativa.
