Krabi Tropical Beach Resort in Krabi

We had a fantastic family holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Krabi Tropical Beach Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodating. It was wonderful and quiet and right on the beach. The shuttle gave us the opportunity to go into the Ao Nang village for the afternoon, but we were able to retreat to the Resort for suppers, […] sunsets and swims and not be disrupted but the busyness of town. Although this hotel is not in the hub of things there are some small local restraunts and shops within walking distance,We spent 4 days here and really enjoyed the part of the family feeling nothing was to much trouble for all the staff and we were made to feel really welcome.The food here is very good and quite good value for money.If you want to chill […] out this is the place for you if you want to party go some where else.If we come back to this part of Thailand we will definatly stay here again Lees meer

It is good hotel. Very relaxing.

About 10 minute by TukTuk or taxi to Au Nang. Hotel is isolated far out. Even though hotel is beach front, you can not swim at the beach (rocks and unclear water due to boat traffic). The hole pool area is in the shade all day. Poor breakfast and restaurant is more for bar snacks than eating.

5 stars for this place from us. Arrived with a 2 night online booking and decided to extend immediately after check-in. Stayed a further 3 nights. Lovely room (4B), super efficient aircon-at times too cold-even turning off the aircon overnight and having fan only on was c-c-c-old. Breakfast was plentiful and when numbers were down, the buffet was replaced […] by ordering off the breakfast menu. Great unlimited coffee. Enjoyed 1 evening meal at reasonable prices. Now the staff: All staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. My traveling partner needed urgent hospital attention one day-severe breathing problems. We sought help and the hotels taxi service was made immediately available. The ride to Krabi Hospital took nowhere near the time it should have taken although at all times we felt very comfortable with the driver who understood the urgency in our request. Very safely transferred with a few tricks pulled along the way to speed up our journey time. The 2 staff who came with us (I do apologise for not knowing their names) assisted with hospital formalities and waited with us for the duration of treatment (approx 2 hours) to assist with language difficulties and offer support. They refused to leave us but waited patiently. No extra charges were levied by the Hotel except for the standard taxi fare to Krabi and return, even though we took away 2 staff for an overall 3 hours. Note that our review of the hotel amenities, and comfort, is objective and not influenced by the amazing service by the 2 staff in our time of need. I have to say - the food was great (and Im a chef) Room was nice , but bathroom just OK..... . Far from everything and anything, but you can rent a moped and be it town in 10 minutes. Small place for people that don't care for doing things. Not very much of the beach. Fresh and good hotel but to far away from....everything.

The hotel was very quiet. There weren’t too many other customers which was great. I was looking for a place to chill and take it easy overall, and it went fine. Location is far from bars and so on but that didn’t bother me. If you want to relax and get away from Thailand tourist places than this is a right place to go. We had an amazing sea view room. A great quiet place. I was there three days with the goal of doing nothing but reading and writing and being shoeless. It was perfect! The hospitality was perfect and the food at the restaurant great!! Also loved the cute little girl that lived there.

overall is very good. clean, comfort and the best thing is you can unlimitted kayak, because this hotel just by the beach. Also a good view to see sun up and set. very lovely hotel.

My wife and I stayed at this resort during April 2011 and we found it to be nice and quiet around the resort. We got the standard room and it was just average and we could hear our neighboring guest talking.. Not so nice when your neighbor has a baby crying throughout the night. It is 10-15 mins away from the main area of Ao Nang but the resort provides […] free shuttles out there. If I was to go back to Krabi I would probably stay in Ao Nang as there isn't much to do in the resort at night besides swim in the pool and watch tv. Lees meer

This was a lovely quiet hotel based on the outskirts of ao nang about 30 mins from krabi. clean, well presented, friendly staff. the pool and garden overlooked the sea...fantastic. Breakfast could be served outside if required , buffet style. (The only down side, if you could call it that was that you had to use the free taxi service provided into town […] available twice a day by the hotel.) return to hotel had to be paid for, but not expensive. I was very pleased with this hotel, it was better than i had expected. The town of Ao Nang offered all the normal tourist attractions you would expect, nice resturants, shopping and was also the place where you take speed boat trips to all the islands around. Phi Phi island is one of the best, which included snorkling stops and luch provided. Enjoyed our stay very much. Will be going again soon. Jon Lees meer

This hotel is a real gem. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The food was very good, we opted to eat there most nights and were never disappointed. We would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends. Our week there was the most relaxing week of our one month holiday.

Everyone says how wonderfull Thailand is, but not many people seem to end up in small personal hotels like this one. I loved every minute I stayed here, the rooms was top notch, the staff also, the food was great as well. They have a nice pool and if you ask them they can drive you ito Ao Nang, only takes like 5 minutes to reach central Ao Nang. This […] place is worth staying at. Very quiet in the night. If you look for some calm place to just relax and enjoy your time, this is the place. Although they have made some areas nice, the place is in a dumpy area in the middle of nowhere & only has a shuttle 2sc/a day to Ao Nang - not at all how they represented themselves. Their pick up service was TWO HOURS late to come get me, leaving me waiting & when I got there, I ordered a drink & it took them over an hour to bring that! It was ridiculous. […] I canceled my reservation, because of false advertisement & they tried to force me to sign a paper saying I'd stay anyway. If you are looking for a quiet hotel at a cheap price then this is the place for you. A lovely pool, a stones throw away from the sea, clean rooms, good food, friendly staff. It is hard to fault this place. Lite koselig, litt langt fra stranden i Ao Nang, men de på hotellet kjører deg. grei restaurant ved bassenget, går ikke an å bade på stranden utenfor, meget skittent vann, 10 min med båt fra kaien like bortenfor og ut til øyene :)) noen av rommene har utsikt til sjø og hagen med basseng, noen rom med vindu og altan til trafikkert veg. Charmant hôtel, au calme, loin de l'agitation de Ao Nang. Chambre propre et confortable. Piscine agréable. Bon restaurant. Personnel de l'hôtel serviable. En revanche, la plage n'est pas propice à la baignagde (vase).

Mukava pieni hotelli. Aamupala oli todella hyvä ja huone ihan perus hotellihuone, sängynpääty vähän repsotti ja vessapaperiteline tippui seinästä useamman kerran viikon aikana mutta eipä nuo asumista haitanneet. Hotellilla oli pieni uima-allas ja muutama aurinkotuoli. Hotellin sijaintihan on rannalla mutta se ei ole uimakelpoinen. Respan kanssa kommunikointi […] oli välillä vähän hankalaa kun eivät puhuneet englantia, kannattaa vaan hymyillä niin asiat hoituu. Hotellin lupaamat ilmaiset kyyditykset ei oikein toimineet meidän kohdalla, joten kuljettiin paljon paikallisbussilla ja taksilla Ao Nangiin. Hotellin läheisyydessä on vain muutama ravintola ja Ao Namao on muutenkin todella rauhallinen ja syrjäisä paikka, joten suositellaan sellaisille ihmisille jotka ei kaipaa menoa ja meininkiä. Railayn saarelle pääsee ihan hotellin vieressä olevalta laiturilta edullisella venekuljetuksella, joten siellä kannattaa ehdottomasti käydä. Lees meer

Todella ystävällinen henkilökunta, apua sai välillä ihan pyytämättäkin. Patjat meidän makuun liian kovat. Ehdottamasti kannattaa varata meren puoleinen huone muuten herää aamulla rukouksiin. Aamupala hyvä mutta kannattaa mennä heti aamusta. Hieman syrjässä mutta hotellista ilman kyyti pari kertaa päivässä ao nangiin. Mopon vuokraamalla sijainti ei haittaa […] yhtään. Super venlig personale. Fantastisk kok, en af de bedse steder vi har spist i Thailand. Super beliggenhed godt udgangspunkt når man vil opholde sig i det sydlige Thailand.

There is located Nammao beach Good view and quiet If you do not have a car anywhere couldn't eat sth drop by shops etc. Breakfast is good.

ホテル自体が小規模で　アオナンビーチから離れてる分　ホテル近辺にはゲストも少ないし　のんびり出来ました。海岸沿いにホテルがあるので　部屋とプールから海が見えたのもよかった。コンビニまで行くのに　自転車を無料でいつでも使えて良かったです。　

The hotel is a little bit far away from the centre of Ao nang (about 15min) but the hotel will arrange the transportation for 150bath. You can always rent a scooter to go to Krabi town or Ao Nang. The hotel has a nice restaurant with good food and resonable prices. The pool area is nice and clean. We got the best service from this hotel!

Réservation d une nuit demande une nuit sup ok pas de problème prix a peine un peu plus que sur le site mais bon !!! Donc le lendemain le responsable étant absent je demande à réglér là la réceptionniste me donne le prix qui n a rien avoir avec le prix de la veille beaucoup moins que celui donné par son responsable je ne dis rien et je paye. Des l arrivé […] du patron celui ci me demande de régler la différence en me disant que sa collègue est idiote. Rien a faire il ne veut pas comprendre nous dit que c est déjà un prix alors seule possibilité payé ou changer d Hotel alors mais valise étant lourdes mème très lourdes j ai payé a contre cœur pas question d argent mais de principe !!!!! Hotelli valittiin sijaintinsa ja rauhallisuuden takia. Hotelli oli todella siisti, otimme Deluxe SeaView huoneen joka oli kyllä ehdottomasti joka pennin arvoinen! Parvekkeelta näkyi hotellin uima-allas ja meri, ainoat äänet parvekkeella olivat meri ja muut luonnon äänet. Turistien suosimaan Ao Nangiin ja Krabi Towniin pääsi helposti taksilla tai tuk-tukilla […] ja erittäin edullisesti paikallisbussilla joka kulkee suoraan hotellin edestä. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä, maukas aamiainen oli mahdollista syödä ravintolan terassilla, joka on käytännössä meren rannalla. Ett mycket prisvärt hotell, bodde där totalt 9 nätter med min familj och blev mycket väl omhändertagna av hela personalen. Man kände sig nästan som en stor familj. Rummen var rena och välstädade. Trots att detta hotell ligger lite avsides upplevde man inte det som jobbigt för personalen var mycket hjälpsamma med att både skjutsa och hämta oss i Ao Nang […] när vi ville åka dit och då till en mycket billig peng. Barnen saknade lekkamrater eftersom det inte var så mycket folk på hotellet vid den tidpunkt vi bodde där men personalen gjorde allt för att underhålla dom. Det finns inte så många andra hotell i närheten men flera små inhemska matställen på gångavstånd från hotellet om man vill testa detta. All personal kunde inte engelska så bra men dom försökte och med lite teckenspråk kunde vi förstå varandra bra. Frukost och mat var helt okej. Vår tonårsdotter saknade möjligen shopping på nära håll men som tur var fanns det gratis Wi-Fi på hotellet och det gick att koppla upp sig på rummet om man ville. Ett hotell man helt klart ska testa! Saimme käydä opiskelemassa thai-ruokien tekoa hotellin keittiössä ilman opintomaksuja! + Huoneet siivottiin viimeisen päälle joka päivä ja […] siivoojatytöt olivat ystävällisiä ja hymyileviä ja aina valmiita joustamaan siivousajoissaan. +.Hyvät internetyhteydet omalla läppärillä. Aulassa myös internetyhteys (kaikki maksuttomia). +Kaikki mahdolliset asiat järjestyivät hotellimme kautta nopeasti ja vaivatta. Henkilökunta osasi kuuntelemisen taidon, osanoton murheisiin ja kauniin vilpittömän hymyn! + Noin kymmenen minuutin kävelymatkan päässä Seven Eleven, josta voi ostaa kaikkea tarpeellista ja mm alkoholia tiettyinä kellonaikoina. + Seven Elevenin kupeessa vihannestori, auki iltapäivisin. Vaikutelma jonka saimme netistä ja valokuvista ei pitänyt paikkaansa. Vastaanotto tiskillä mielikuvat "paratiisi-saaresta/unelma lomasta" romuttuivat täysin. Hotelli vaikutti puhtaalta ja huone siistiltä. Huoneemme oli kuitenkin tienpuoleisella sivulla, joten kaikki liikenteen äänet kuuluivat selkeästi. Hotelli mainosti itseään Rauhallisena rentoutus […] paikkana, joten liikienteen äänet sekä muslimien rukous-kutsu-äänet olivat melkoinen yllätys. Rannanpuoleiset huoneet vaikuttivat isommilta ja paremmilta. Uima-allas alue oli mukava ja viihtyisä. Ravintola ok. Aamupalasta sai mahansa täyteen, mutta lämpimät ruoat olivat joka aamu haaleita jo klo 8.00 ja 10.00 jälkeen astiat olivat jo usein tyhjiä, vaikkakin aamupala-aikaa oli vielä tunti jäljellä. Ranta ei ollut unelmien "private beach", jossa olisi voinut uida. Läheltä lähtevät pitkähäntäveneet olivat plussaa. Plussaa oli myös kahdesti päivässä järjestetty ilmainen kuljeteus Ao Nangin keskustaan, mutta tarkasta aikataulut päivittäin..! Lees meer

Lille dejligt hotel med skøn have, swimmingpool og spa lige ned til stranden.Desværre er stranden ikke til at bade fra, men kun 5 min gang langs stranden ,kan man tage en longtailbåd til Railey Beach, hvor der er aber. Hotellihuone oli siisti ja näkymä altaalle ja merelle hyvä. Hotelli oli rannassa, mutta ranta kivinen ja ei paras uimiseen. Uima- ja poreallas riitti meille hyvin. Kannattaa varata seawiev-huone, koska muut huoneet ovat tien vieressä toisella puolella. Wi-fi-yhteys ei toiminut kakkoskerroksen. huoneissa, mutta aulassa hyvin. Saimme todella ystävällistä […] palvelua. Hotellin ravintolan ruoka oli hyvää. Ao Nangiin kahdesti päivässä ilmainen kuljetus hotellilta ja muina aikoina veivät meidät itse erilliseen hintaan. Hotel familial, car peu de chambres, situé à l'extérieur des plages touristiques. En conséquence, il faut utiliser un véhicule pour y accéder et le prix des taxis reste élevé pour la région. Piscine très agréable, jeux pour enfants avec un petit bassin.

Jag ar jatte nojd! Personalen var trevlig och hjalpsam. Hotellet var mysigt och lokaliserad i en inte sa stressig miljo. Maten var jatte god! trakigt att stranden inte var den finaste, hade inte en tanke pa att bada i havet och sa var det en bit till Ao Nang Beach och annu langre till Karbi Town. Helt fantastisk hotel,kan klart anbefales til andre. Lille utrolig hyggeligt familie drevet hotel. Personalet er meget imødekommende og utrolig hjælpsomme. når man komme ind på hotellet er det som en lille skøn oase men den fineste lille have og skønne pool. En skøn lille terresse og lille restaurant med den mest fantastiske udsigt over vandet man kan […] tænke sig. Værelserne er super fine or pænt rengjorte. Der er kun ca 19 værelser på hotellet, derfor er der en dejlig stille og rolig atmosfære på hotellet. Krabi by ligger ikke langt herfra, og der ydes taxi service flere gang fra hotellet ind til centrum ganske gratis. Hvis man vælger at blive hjemme og evt spise på hotellet, kan dette varmt anbefales, de laver rigtig dejlig god mad på hotellet og det er ikke dyrere end at spise inde i byen. Det er alletiders dejlige lille hotel, også til børnefamilien, vi har selv haft 2 børn på hhv 6 og 11 år med og de nød at være her. Vi ville elske at vende tilbage hertil en anden gang. Lees meer

A very good hotel with higfh standard, clean, modern and comfortable. The staff was very service minded. Located nicely at the beachfront in a quiet area, close to boat terminal to Raylay beach etc. The beach was not suitable for bathing though.

Min kæreste og jeg skulle have boet her i to dage, men endte med at blive her i fem! Hotellet var meget lækkert til prisen - pæne værelser, overraskende god restaurant og yderst venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Eneste minus er beliggenheden. Hotellet ligger lidt midt ude i ingenting - men det er nemt at komme til railay Beach (longtail boat ligger […] to minutter nede af stranden), krabi by og ao nang. Og så er her dejlig roligt, hvis man er til det... Lees meer
