Auckland Harbour Oaks in Auckland

Pretty goog except there were no glasses for drinking ( wine glasses yes ) and no mirror other than in the bathroom and there could have been the odd picture or two on the walls.To add a splash of colour. Breakfast was good.Overall not bad.

Good location although neighbourhood a little down market. Staff friendly and accommodating. Room well equipped

2nd floor "executive suite" - very loud street noise as across from mermaid bar and gentlemans club who had music piped out onto street and people coming and going. Unable to open windows due to noise so very hot (no A/C). Bed must of been 50 years old as could feel the springs (sheets were clean) loudly arguing people in other rooms. It was cheap  […] though. the view from my room on the 37th floor was amazing was worth paying that extra bit.However i have a few complaints.There was a horrible smell that was coming from the kitchen sink i think that it needed some major caustic soda dosing,also the bathroom was the same the sink would fill up quicker than it could drain.The continentel breakfast was an apple,yoghurt […] and a juice,we looked everywhere for a box of cereal thinking it was somewhere else however it wasn't to be,it was a very unusual breakfast. great place to stay except you dont get any sleep(due to noise from the night clubs around you ) if staying on weekend, would suit young people.

Not a very inspiring reception area but the room, or should I say apartment was excellent. We asked for one high up and were on the 37th floor with outstanding views. Very clean comfortable bed and nice fluffy towels. Breakfast was in the room. Tea, coffee etc, plus a basket with bread( all sealed) and fruit juice, jam, butter, yoghurt, and fruit in […] the fridge. a few minutes walk from the waterfront restaurants and bars. I stayed here with a friend for just one night. Upon arrival found that this hotel was on of three brands within the building (The others being not so flash) and that the pictures of the lovely grand marble reception area were somewhat deceptive. However the service was fine and we recieved a room upgrade upon arrival. Our room was lovely and more than […] adeguate for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms very inviting. The only issue we encountered was that the room must not have been occupied for a while and in the mean time the waste disposal had not been properly flushed. As a result there were a number of ants crawling around the sink. As we were not cooking we didn't bother complaining about it and apart from this minor hiccup the room was absolutely fine and very good value for money. Lees meer

Unable to find hotel at first due to roadworks. staff were very friendly but the carpet and surrondings were dark dingy and old fashioned. we had a city view of he roadworks and the strip joint accross the road. The noise was terrible from the road works and then from the strip joint up to 4.00am. could not open our window for it and the room did not […] have air condtioning only a stand up fan and a little heater to warm the room Would not stay there again Lees meer

Well appointed hotel, value for your dollar but the cleaniness could improve. Empty shampoo bottle was still on the floor of the shower ?was it cleaned. Stalagmites of dust on the washing machine taps. The breakfast provisions were not placed in the fridge on our first day -included yoghurt and butter - left all day midsummer temps.

The first thing that would have been nice to know is that its name has been changed to IStay...so we were a little confused! Absolutely awesome room we had..2 bedroom apartment...great size and excellent Habour views and city views with 4 balconies. Unfortunately the room was in a very dirty condition, walls had marks and grime and there were things […] left under the beds from previous guests. Our phone for the room didnt work and when we told staff about this they said they would follow us up shortly and get it fixed...they never turned up to our room. But even after those few things I would definately stay there again as it is in a perfect location, and good fair price. Made for a great stay in Auckland, and I have already suggested it to 2 other people for the accommodation they need there shortly. Lees meer

This hotel was very clean & staff were very lovely & helpful. I thought our room was nice, clean & comfortable but surrounding area was not that great. Contential breakfast was not that inviting. The Hotel was located downtown so was handy walking distant to most things or buses were available my only problem was the parking was a hugh issue & i had […] to park in a wilson carpark so this cost a fare bit of money for one & half days. Initially the Hotel was not the easiest to find - there was no sign saying Auckland Harbour Oaks Hotel anywhere in sight. So after a panicked beginning the hotel improved. Room was clean and the breakfast was something different to the average continental. The shower was too small and not the best. However there were all the appliances one could need, […] heater, fan, iron, toaster. The view wasn't amazing, but considering the surroundings we had no problem with noise. The Hotel would be great withiut the construction site in front of it...

Good views from the room and the room was kept clean and tidy. However, although my booking included free parking and internet access, I only got the free parking ... although I showed the reception staff my reservation, they advised that I had only 1 hour of free Internet / day and I ended up paying for that one too. My main problem with that was that […] I was in town for business, I needed the Internet access and I specifically booked the room at that rate because it was including the Internet. Had a nice night in this hotel with my partner, pretty tidy, had a small hole in the wall but we told reception straight away and so that was all fine! very nice people on reception - 2nd time ive been would reccomend for younger people (20's) not familys as is opposite Mermaids. Price is reasonable

It's generally Apartments but some rooms function as Hotel. Operated by Indian staff, enough friendly. A small front deck only, no lobby. Rooms are spacy, include kitchen facilities. External door and all the interior services are accessible by room e-key - Gym hall, laundry, pool etc. In-room continental breakfast consists of 2 buns, milk, cheese, […] coffee / tea and an apple. Very convenient location, room clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, great to have washing machine and dryer. Two suggestions would be to vary the fruit for breakfast and to supply honey or jam with supplied bread and butter. Would definitely recommend to others.

Book a two-bedroom suite with a sea view. The room is good for family, expecially the in-apartment washing machine and dryer are so helpful when you have kids travelling with you. The location is good as it is within 5-minutes walking distance from Viaduct and Countdown super market. However, the facility and services are so so. Looks nice in pictures and from a first glance but sticky and dirty when you get there and look closer. I just felt... Itchy in my room. Management and housekeeping never picked up phone calls. 'adult entertainment' right across the street so you probably shouldn't bring your kids to stay here. I suppose it's a convenient location otherwise.

Viihtyisä huoneistohotelli aivan ydinkeskustassa, kivenheiton päässä satamasta ja Viaduct Basinin alueesta jossa paljon ravintoloita. Yläkerroksista mahtavat näkymät suoraan satamaan.

Hotel, super bien situe, service excellent. Juste un petit bemole : j'ai cru payer pour 5 sauf, que, les chambres sont pour 4. Je n'avais pas vu l'asterix, qui ramenais a une phrase, indiquant que le lit d’appoint serait facture en plus ....

Dette er et leilighetshotell. Helt ok for voksne, på vei videre. Har ingen hotellfasiliteter. Pluss for vaskemaskin og tørketrommel. Sentralt, men i en bakgate.

酒店非常好，我们三人给的是一个two bedroom. 定的时候我以为是one bedroom. 有洗衣机，烘干机。我们把南岛十几天的衣服都洗了。

　豪華ではありませんが、価格も抑えられているのに、朝食は毎日届き、部屋のインターネットも無料、おまけに部屋の中に洗濯機があって便利で機能的で満足しました。 部屋は小さめながら、キッチン、リビング、２寝室が独立して有り、浴槽も有り、家族４人には充分でした。 新しくて清潔ですが、欲をいえばお風呂のシャワーの水が洗面床に流れ出やすいのと、洗面台が小さいのと、ベランダの手すりが危なっかしいのが難点です。
