Hotel New York in Milaan

Het was voor 2 nachten een aardig hotel. Personeel bij de receptie was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het hotel is centraal gelegen bij het station. De kamer was ruim en schoon, echter de badkamer was niet schoon en er hing een urinegeur. Prima hotel, alleen mijn hotelkamer was aan de kant van de straat (veel herrie), dus voortaan heb ik liever een kamer dat niet aan de kant van de straat grenst...

Goede service en prima locatie, pal tegenover het centraal station. Het hotel was echter wel heel gehorig. Kamer was klein, maar oke.

Een prima hotel indien je niet te veel wil uitgeven. Prijs kwaliteit is uitstekend. Het ontbijt 's ochtends is niet heel uitgebreid en een beetje primitief, maar smaakte verder uitstekend. De omgeving centraal station schijnt 's avonds niet altijd veilig te zijn, maar hier hebben wij niets van gemerkt. Indien je tot laat in de stad blijft, neem dan […] gewoon een taxi terug naar het hotel. De badkamer was prima, niet groot, maar wel een uitstekende douche. De bedden waren een beetje hard, maar prima. Vooral de kussens waren erg goed. De service is uitstekend, ze zijn 24 uur per dag open, dus je kunt ook midden in de nacht nog inchecken. Prima hotel. Voldoet aan de verwachtingen. Ruime kamer. Schoon. Ontbijt goed. Zeer goede service en erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ideale ligging. Bezienswaardigheden prima te bereiken via dichtbij gelegen metrostation.

Kamer was superschoon, ontbijt bood voldoende keuze en werd regelmatig aangevuld. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. Ligging t.o. Pirellitoren op minder dan 5 minuten lopen van tram, metro en trein. Kortom verschrikkelijk genoten van dit hotel.

Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Kamers zijn niet groot, maar acceptabel als je toch niet veel op je kamer bent. Het ontbijt is prima, maar de bediening c.q. aanvulling van broodjes e.d. is traag.

Heel netjes hotel! dicht bij metro/centraal station. Heel erg behulpzame mensen. Heerlijk ontbijt, met veel lekker hapjes!

De ligging van het hotel is gunstig. Het ligt vlakbij het centraal station en in de buurt liggen uitgaangelegenheden. Het ontbijt was goed. Het personeel verwees ons voor het avondeten naar een uitstekend restaurant.

Great location to train station. Wifi in hotel was not included in room so that was a bummer it was offered for an additional fee which we didn't want to pay. Other hotels we stayed at on this trip it was included.

The Location is great but no wifi in room is not so convenience. Front Desk staff is very helpful and the room is very clean. but just a lttle bit small.

Hotel new York is in a great location. Located close to the central train station. It was hard to find, but, in a great location. The hotel staff was great from check in to check out and provided much information. The room was clean daily. The breakfast buffet was great. I have nothing to say negative. The location is perfect close to the central station and subways. Quiet area. The breakfast is Okay. The only minus I can see with the hotel is the hard pillows.

Great if you are looking for a nice and clean hotel to stay while you enjoy Milano . The hotel is not a esthetic experience and breakfast is also basic, but the hotel staff were all really friendly and rooms/sheets/bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. It's 5 minutes walk from central station and easy to get the metro just around the corner […] to take you down town. Would stay here again! Lees meer

Nice Place, Nice staff, Good breakfast.

The room key system is rediculou. I have to go back to the front deak several times for the master key help. The shower head is broken, yet hotel manager asked me to be 'understandable because they will fix it afterwards which means after I check out. The table lamps are broken, too.

Good for 2 or 3 nights stay near Milano Centrale.

This hotel is very conveniently located very near to the main Milan centrale and the metro. The rooms are a bit small but it does not really matter to us as we were seldom in our rooms. Good for travelers who needs convenience but not those who prefer comfort. Very near to shopping areas too if you go via Pausanias which is located the next road to […] the hotel. Lees meer

Great location and very friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable and contributed to very enjoyable stay in Milan.

Room small...most staff not friendly except one guy at the reception...near central station but that is not the city centre

Good location but a hotel doesn't provide free Wi-Fi is a disadvantage

If you travel by train this is an excellent choice. Could not be closer to the Central train Station and located in a decent area. Very reasonable price and very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay there again.

We only found one good thing about Hotel New York in Milan Italy and that was it was located in a very convenient location if you are traveling by train. Upon enterance to our room we found the carpet less than acceptable, cob webs in the corners along with spiders and other creepy crawling things. The shower was less than par with mold all around. […] I would have rather used my suitcase as a pillow than what they supplied as a so called pillow. Lees meer

Decor is a little bleak but the staff was very friendly & helpful and the location was great for us - just a couple of blocks from the train station.

Good location being near to the Central Station although did mean could hear trains at night. Not too much of a problem though and my friend didn't hear a thing through not being such a light sleeper. Staff very helpful with all enquiries and spoke very good English. Good breakfast. Only criticism would be is that I found the pillows very hard.

We had a early train so this Hotel was great

It's a nice place to stay. It's very near to central train stat. And the front desk is very helpful. Overall, very good!

Very close to Central Train Station; convenient to airport and underground to all sights within Milan. Staff was friendly and helpful. Single room was small - but bathroom had nice shower and balcony!

We needed a hotel for the night and were taking the 7:05am train. This hotel is walking distance from the train station and served the purpose. I would stay here again. The room and bathroom were decent size. Didn't stay for breakfast.

We stayed one night on our way to Paris. Walking distance to train and metro. The room was clean and big for european hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Room is old, needs renovation. Beds are uncomfortable. Reception staff are very unfriendly and not helpful at all. Air-conditioning in the room is not working, I called the reception and the staff said he CANNOT DO ANYTHING and asked me to wait for the central system to "start up" in my room (what??? if it is central system, why need to wait). Anyway, […] I waited for 2 hrs and it is still not working. When I called the 3rd time, he said there he will asked the technical staff to check the next morning. We have to open the wondow and endure the noise from the streets (I could not sleep the whole night due to the noise and heat). I reminded the recption the next morning to check the air-conditioning but when I returned that evening, the air-conditioning is still not working. Another sleepless night!!! The hotel is very convenient and one feels very safe in the neighborhood. If you are also looking to make Milan your launch point for day trips in Milan or out to Venice, Lake Como or Florence, it's a great spot as it is very close to the centrail train station and subway.

Reasonably priced hotel within easy walking distance from central station. Room was small but functional. Bathroom was painted black on both walls and floor which was unappealing but if you're passing through Milan on the train or by bus and need somewhere to stay for a couple of nights this hotel is conveniently located to the main rail and bus station […] and the city centre is easily reached as the metro is just around the corner from the hotel. At a friend's suggestion I always book the newest hotel I can find near the arrival point; in my case stacion centrale This time the result was excellent - although I missed the place twice because the scaffolding hid the sign and the presence on the street is so discreet. As soon as we walked in the door i felt that it was clean which is very important to me. The rooms and dining room were also clean. The staff were very friendly and helpfull and kept our luggage while we toured Milan for the day before we collected it to travel from central Stn. to Malpensa Airport.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. There were mosquitos all over the wall along with the smeared blood that came from them. The sheets had hair on them and the owner specifically told me they don't wash the bed spreads because it cost money. My husband and I ended up just eating the money we spent on hotels.com and went to find another h […] otel. Lees meer

The hotel was really close to the central train station, from which I could get anywhere on the metro with my two-day metro pass. It also is where the bus to and from the airports stops, which is great. The staff were great, though there were some internet problems while I was there. The breakfast was surprisingly good.

This hotel was close to the train station and very easy to find. The gentelman who checked me in was friendly, polite, and helpful with suggestions on sightseeing and dinner recommondations without even having to ask! The sevice was great! The rooms on the other hand were a little worn down though comfortable and clean. The bathroom was large but the […] shower was tiny. I had a private balcony though it didn't have much of a view.
