Vlakbij Times Square, beter kan niet. Ideaal hotel ook met kinderen. Kamers zijn prima, geen geluidsoverlast van straatverkeer. Behulpzaam personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Dit hotel is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Dichtbij de PATH trein naar NYC. Ontbijt en kamer waren prima!

Mijn dochter (10 jaar) en ik hebben eind april een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences gelogeerd. Dit naar volle tevredenheid! Het hotel ligt op ca. 4 minuten loopafstand van Times Square, de kamer was niet groot, maar prima voor ons verblijf. Er werd keurig schoongemaakt en al het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Men is momenteel bezig met enkele verbouwingen aan het hotel (waar wij overigens totaal geen last van hadden!) die het hotel mijns inziens alleen nog maar mooier en completer in dienstverlening zullen maken. Wij hopen volgend jaar week een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences te mogen verblijven en raden iedereen die een goed hotel zoekt in New York dit hotel van harte aan.
Ligging.
Hilton Garden Inn New York/Chelsea ligt in het centrum van New York, op loopafstand van Fashion Institute of Technology en Madison Square Garden. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Empire State Building en Macy's.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel voor zaken biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant en een bar/lounge. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar. De accommodatie beschikt over een een businesscentrum. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, bedrijfsgerelateerde dienstverleningen en hulp bij excursies regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een fitnesscentrum, meertalig personeel en koffie in de lobby. Parkeren op locatie is mogelijk tegen betaling.

Hilton Garden Inn New York/Chelsea heeft 169 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een kluisje op de kamer en een gratis krant. Elke kamer heeft flatscreen televisies met premiumkanalen via kabel/satelliet en betaalfilms. Elke accommodatie beschikt over een bureau en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail.Een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) is beschikbaar. Elke kamer is voorzien van een magnetron met een koelkast. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie en een haardroger. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een waterkoker/koffiezetapparaat en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Daarnaast wordt dagelijks een huishoudservice aangeboden. Op verzoek zijn voorzieningen als een telefonische wekdienst beschikbaar.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.

Prima hotel in goede buurt en redelijk dicht bij alle bezienswaardigheden ten zuiden van Central Park. We hebben alles lopend gedaan, maar de metro is om de hoek. In de straat zit op de hoek een McDonalds (altijd handig) en binnen enkele minuten lopen diverse restaurants en lunchcafés. Ook op loopafstand: Penn Station. Superhandig voor vliegveld Newark. "Prima hotel net buiten het drukste gebied"
Een prima hotel, mooie ruime kamer met 2 twijfelaars. Minpuntje: geen bad. Ligging is op 28th street, net buiten het drukste gedeelte, op loopafstand van het Empire State building en Madison Square garden.
"Hilton Garden Inn, proper, centraal en rustig"
Wij zijn er drie keer blijven slapen: erg rustig, proper, centraal gelegen en niet te duur. (Alleen de drankjes in de bar) Er is ontbijt, maar daar hebben we geen gebruik van gemaakt omdat we zo vlug de stad in wilden. Een aanrader!
Very impressed with friendliness of all employees from the doorman, lobby and cleaning staff. We were in NYC so my husband could have a medical procedure done. IT WAS VERY NOISEY AND A BABY CRYING THRU THE NIGHT. WORSE NIGHT SLEEP I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME. STAFF VERY NICE...
"Clean, convenient location"
Service at the door and check in was friendly and the location is only half a block from subway line 1. The room and shower are updated. Not much in the immediate neighborhood besides Starbucks, a few bagel shops and Pret a Manger, but Times Square is only two stops away. the only issue we had was at check in, where they wanted to charge us extra, for us being 2 adults and 2 kids, despite this was clearly stated in the accepted reservation. Once we produced the reservation with info, everything was ok. I would not recommend to have breakfast in the hotel, just because it is expensive at $17 each, you can have the same […] just outside for half. I liked the street being surrounded by plant stores, in the morning, when all the plants are put outside, gives you a different sense. The room was clean and spacious enough and the hotel was clean. "Great Hotel in Central Location"
The Hilton Garden Inn is great because its a high quality hotel located on 28th St so you are central to head either downtown or uptown. The quality of the rooms and is great, with cable tv channels and the internet works great! The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

the staff - valets, reception, waitress at breakfast, cleaning lady, brought the experience to a whole other level. Priceless experience. "weekend visit"
Good location and clean hotel. Had hard time deciding to walk up town (Times Square) or downtown (Fashion District and Madison Square) so did both. This hotel worked out great for our needs. Fantastic.
"Great Choice for Staying in Manhattan"
We loved our stay at this hotel. The location was convenient to almost everything and the guest services were very helpful. Our room was clean and it was surprisingly roomy for NYC. We will definitely stay again next time we visit.

"Hilton Chelsea - the perfect place to spend a week"
Myself and 3 friends stayed for 4 nights at the Hilton Chelsea for the Big East basketball tournament. The rooms was very clean, very comfortable and the front desk was outstanding. We mistakenly received a wake up call the first morning at 6 am. The front desk gave us 4 free breakfast buffet coupons ($80 value) for the inconvenience. "Great hotel, but plan for elevator wait."
This is a great little hotel on a so-so street, smack between Madison Square Garden and Chelsea. Fantastic location. Good wifi, nice people working there, comfy, clean, small but perfect place to get ready for the day/sleep at night. Caution: There are only two elevators for a pretty tall building. In the mornings (and definitely just prior to check-out […] time) there will be a HUGE wait and the elevator will be CRAMMED. Great hotel, it was very convenient to the event at Madison Square Garden and close walk to the High line. I prefer the upper west side as far as a neighborhood but this was very convenient.

Excellent hotel. However, the parking for the area is limited. Had to park for an overnight stay at a garage several blocks away and the cost is high for a van. ($57 for over night parking) Would stay there again just bring smaller vehicles.

"Conveniently located in Chelsea"
A great thing about the Hilton Garden Inn is that they have a microwave and fridge in each room. That is really convenient. The room was clean, and the front desk was very professional and polite. The room was pretty small, but you get that most of the time in NYC, so it didn't bother me. I'd come to the Hilton Garden Inn again.

We stayed here because hotel rooms with 2 Queen beds are hard to find in NYC and a must for us to fit our family of 4 in one room. Location was great, between 6th and 7th on 28th. Easy walk to Times Square area, lots of shopping, and plenty of food choices. Nice street shared by florist shops. Gym was great, beds comfy. Typical small NY room not unexpected. I have stayed at all levels of hotels, at all prices in NYC. For the money, this place is awesome! Clean, decent sized rooms, easy location for sights as wells as public transportation. Big thumbs up in my book, and that doesn't happen often!

Wonderful location to Fashion Avenue, Madison Square Garden, Chelsea District! Great workout room with all new Precor equipment. Front desk very helpful with subway directions, and other staff very professional and friendly.

"More good than bad"
Well renovated hotel, very clean. The queen beds were not good for two people, they were not firm. The refrigerator and the air condition made a lot of noice. Beside these, the personel very friendly and good reasonable price for Manhattan.
