Beautiful beach and best watersports in sheltered lagoon. Beds too hard, and a few common rooms (Pirates Den teenage games room, shop and activities office) too aircon'ed (freezing!), otherwise faultless hotel. This was our second visit and would go back again. Fabulous view from the room with a patio/balcony. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Great high end call brand liquor was served in the bars. Gorgeous beach with aqua colored ocean and powder white sand. We loved all the beach toys that were included (catamaran, one and 2 man kayaks, paddle […] boats, large float rings). There was a wide variety of food choices although the quality was variable. The resort was beautiful with many options for activiites/relaxation. It seemed that the kids were having a blast, there was a kids club and lots of sand toys/floats for kids at the beach. Spa was great.. Suzette gave a great prenatal massage. Our room was further from main area, but it was closest to the beach we loved & quiet at night. Walls between […] rooms are thin, but we rarely heard neighbors. If it was a family with kids, we would have heard more noises. I loved the food, outdoor atmosphere and sounds, pools and beach were great. Close to public beach of Long Bay with fun snorkeling (no boat needed). About the food, don't pay for Nicole's. It was good, but an extra $25 per person. We listened to info on the Vacation Club for 15 minutes and was given free entry to Nicole's for dinner. I liked not being pressured about the Vacation Club. Ask which restaurants require reservations. Pool side BBQ was great, it requires a reservation. Buccaneers fills up fast, reserve as early as possible. Seabreeze is a buffet with different themes each night. The Beach Bar was my favorite for lunch, great views and foods like fish and chips, hamburgers & fries etc. Beds were harder but not uncomfortable. We would have liked to have drinks provided in our room like most all Inclusive programs. Non-alcoholic drinks were tasty. Water is clean and filtered at their own plant onsite. You only need one or two water bottles(extra cost) so you can fill it each day and keep in the fride in your room. Limited wine/beer choices. but lots of mixed drinks. Shuttles were perfect , i'm 5 months pregnant & hills were tiring sometimes. Shuttles ran often and easy to find. No problems with bugs except one evening on beach. Breeze was perfect b/c sun is intense but we never felt too hot (March). Devils Bridge was an easy walk from the resort and a must see! Airport Fee to leave country is $28/person. Airport taxi was $28 each way. Resort offers tours and shuttles to town b/c taxi's are expensive. Th Lees meer

The rooms are fairly basic, but for the cost of the hotel, i think are fair. The food, drink and service of all employees were great and the location and facities such as pools, beaches and watersports was also good. if i ever go back to the island i would stay here

Too many hidden cost!!! The price will almost double the discout price. The service was totally unprofessional!!!

We travelled to Antigua on a last minute idea and our first stop was the Verndah Resort and Spa. Upon arrival we found wonderfully furnished and decorated rooms, with all the entertainment and beach/pool amenities that you could possibly need. Not all was so friendly, plus considering the size of the resort had to walk quit a bit to get around area.

We got a great deal on 7 days all inclusive. Yes, the property is on the East side of the island so going into 'town' or St. Johns is a 35 minute dirve. That said, the taxi drivers stay with you through the night, wherever you want to go. The all inclusive truly is a great deal. The food is good. Molto bella la struttura che si sviluppa su di una collinetta e si compone di villette bianche di legno all'interno di giardini tropicali ricchissimi di tamarindi, ibiscus, piante di banane etc quasi tutte sono fronte oceano o vista baia, dal terrazzo si vede o l'oceano o c'è l'affaccio sulla baia; gli spostamenti all'interno sono comodi e serviti da […] shuttle gratuito dentro al resort. Putroppo la posizione non è delle migliori in quanto situato nella parte est dell'isola e quindi non comoda per escursioni in barca o altro perchè tutto parte dalla capitale o luoghi circostanti. Il cibo è stato abbondante ma non di qualità. L'animazione è praticamente assente. Ideale per relax ed esclusivamente per chi ama trascorrere le vacanze all'interno del resort. Il clima a gennaio è ottimo di giorno ma essendo le giornate corte già alle 4 del pomeriggio non si può più stare in spiaggia e qui tira sempre il vento, notte e giorno, unico vantaggio non ci sono i mosquitos (dall'altra parte dell'isola abbondano).Ottima la pulizia delle camere e in generale della struttura, l'area delle due piscine sono servite da wi-fi molto comodo per chi deve anche lavorare in vacanza, purtroppo però dalla camera non funziona. Personale cordiale e discreto. Per gli spostamenti bisogna o noleggiare un'auto o prendere taxi in quanto arrivano pochissimi autobus perchè la zona è quasi deserta. Le spiagge sono due e molto belle, acqua turchese e sport acquatici di base. Inoltre il resort è molto frequentato da italiani. Per concludere adatto a coppie o a chi fa vacanze di affari, no a giovani in cerca di divertimento. Lees meer

ce que j'ai préféré c'est cette impression dêtre coupé du monde , la beauté du site, la végétation luxuriante la plage paradisiaque, la prestation musicale près du bar apès le dîner, le restaurant le nicol's , la vue que j'avais de ma chambre sur la plage, le grill qui surplombe la plage,le personnel toujours disponible , toujours souriant , je pense […] qu'il ne manque q'une chose à cet hôtel un dancing même tout petit on n'a pas envie d'aller danser ailleurs de sortir de l'hôtel , et pour conclure la piscine magnifique et si romantique le soir , nous n'oublierons pas de dire que le all inclusive est complet 4 sites de restauration un bar toujours près à vous servir un très bon champagne à discrétion, les nombreux point de repos autour de la piscine et du bar suffisament éloigné l'un de l'autre pour pouvoir lire rêver en toute tranquilité. le bruit quasi absent avec les voiturettes éléctriques vous l'aurez compris je suis encore sous le charme.
