very welcoming staff and extremely helpful. Had a lovely four night stay. only thing i have to say is the hotel was bit noisy in the mornings were woken up most morning by pots banging etc in the kitchen and people shouting on the corridoor

The Hotel was Nice. The Reception Staff were polite The Rooms were not cleaned on a 3 night stay. The Breakfast is expensive for what it consists of. Be Aware of TOURIST TAX upon departure.

The hotel was lovely, the staff very welcoming and helpful especially when asking where to go and how to get there! The room was above average for what we paid for and very clean. We were given the 3rd room on the 1st floor. I know there is no life before I booked the hotel. Staff will help get your luggages in your room. No need to worry lifting heavy luggages by yourself. Room is smaller than I thought. I don't like the shower. Bed is okay and the room is clean. Wifi in the room did not work but we can use wifi in the hotel […] restaurant, Manzana. Breakfast of Manzana is good. There are mini stores near the hotel which is convenient if you need to get some drinks or food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lees meer

Lovely hotel,our room was on the top floor, no lift in the hotel so not ideal if stairs are a difficulty, our room was very big, comfortable bed warm, loads of space large bathroom with a lovely hot shower, we only had breakfast in the restaurant & it was very good, the bar was lovely, staff very helpful & friendly, location is good only a short walk […] to the square, only two things on the negative, a bit noisy at night from the couple of bars outside, the room is only cleaned when you request it, we requested this but they didnt chamge the towels. The hotel is modern and well located. The old town and castle are nearby and several tram lines are at the end of the road. The room was simply furnished but everything worked well EXCEPT WIFI. The room had cable internet and wifi. The cable would not work with my ipad and the wifi signal in the room was bad. Worked perfectly in the hallway. Staff are ridiculously nice, the hotel is gorgeous with a FANTASTIC mexican restraunt & cocktail bar! 15min stroll into main market, great for easy access to schindlers factory and jewish quarter. Stayed here after hotel being highly recommended by parents. Only thing I could fault (I am a clean freak however) is that tea mugs etc were not cleaned […] when the room was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! wifi in room is not receiving very well. I could only get the wifi connection outside the room in the lobby. I appreciate the staff helped me with my luggage because I was on the 2nd floor where I have to take stairs.

A nice little hotell very sentral in Krakow

A nice and cheap hotel with good standard. Fantastic staff who do everything for you. Simple breakfast is quite expensive if you do not have this included. Many nice restaurants in the Jewish quarter. A Minus that they do clean room only on request.

I spent 15 nights at this hotel. It took me a while to get used to having to ask reception for clean towels, soap, shampoo, drinking water & for the sheets on the bed to be changed, even had to ask for toilet paper. I had to buy my own soap, shampoo,tea, coffee, sugar & milk. Drinking water was out in the hallway so I used the tap water for my beverages […] ( I take quite a few tablets). Also the stairs are jolly steep so try & get a room on the first floor if you are a little poorly as myself, even though, the excersise was an added bonus. The Staff were very kind & helpful and as long as you don't mind asking time after time, they were very helpful. For a short stay excellent & for a long stay not too clever, but certainly not terrible. On the first morning the shower door fell off & on the second morning one of the curtains came off its runner and both were seen to & repaired within an hour. The postion of the Hotel is quite good, far enough away from the maddenig crowds (about 10 minutes walk) but still in the middle of a huge choice of restaurants, shops and services. Please take into account that I am over 60 years of age and set imy ways and for you young people out there, I am sure that this will be an adequate establishment. Lees meer

The Spatz is fine by most measures. Friendly staff, good location, good value for money. We'd go there again. If I was being picky I would only say they should make the wifi a bit more reliable, and stronger in the rooms - I had to go to the hall to be sure of a signal. But that's a mild criticism of an otherwise excellent place to stay in Krakow.

Nice small hotel, perfectly located in the middle of the jewish quarter. I stayed in a room to the street, a bit noisy in the morning. Breakfast could be better.

Without exception all the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was a good start to the day. The hotel was well sighted for the old town and the Jewish area which had a good selection of places to eat and drink. We have already booked a return trip!!

I found this hotel very good. It is in a great location, just 10/15 minutes walk from the main square. It is right beside the Jewish district and there are nice restaurants nearby. Also, the bar in the hotel is great. The front desk were very helpful when booking tours and with providing clean towels etc. We had a deluxe room which I thought would be […] bigger but was a good size, the bathroom was also nice and clean. However, the walls needed a wipe down and the floor behind the air conditioner needed to be swept. The room was very hot, especially at night as the air con wasn't very strong. Located in the Old Town, surrounded by plenty of good restaurants (with great prices), especially ones with traditional Polish cooking. Indeed the stairs can be a challenge to some people as there are no lifts, but that was fine for us. Just ask for a porter to carry your bags up as we were not offered when checking in. Clean, comfortable hotel in the very heart of Kazimierz. Other reviews talked about the 10 minute walk to Krakow market square (it's probably more like 15), but Kazimierz (the old Jewish quarter) is a great attraction in its own right, with hip cafes, art galleries, and restored synagogues. The hotel was great!! We will return whenever we come back to Krakow.

We chose the hotel because of the location and the price. It is at the edge of the old Jewish Quarter, and a 20 minute walk from the Center of the City. We were able to walk everywhere. The staff was very accomodating. The rooms are smallish, but very clean, and there is a free water cooler on each floor.

Within walking distance of most sights. Friendly staff and great cocktails.

Contemporary, clean and uncluttered hotel. Room was wonderful and spacious with lots of light but we were in the eaves and there was no lift so do request a lower floor if you have difficulty with stairs. Paid extra for breakfast one morning as it wasn't part of the room tarriff. Food was delicious but with so many cafes nearby probably more cost effective […] to go elsewhere. Ideal location for trendy/bohemian bars nearby and a 20 min walk into the main square which is a fabulous location for live music. More jazz than you can shake a stick at. Friendly, English speaking staff. Large, clean, comfortable room. Walk to Old Town main square and Jewish Quarter - Schidler's Factory. Stayed 4 nights. well presented hotel, friendy helpful staff, clean rooms with Tea/Coffee facilities. rooms are over 3 floors with no lift so not suitable for less able bodied travellors. excellent breakfast with fresh cooked eggs bacon & sausage items available to complement the plentiful buffet breakfast. This is an excellant Hotel at a very good price. Right on the edge of Kazimierze and its good restaurants and history. the citys large square is a 20 minute walk away. The hotel bar is very well stocked and there is a very good hot and cold breakfast. Staff very good also. i highly recommend this hotel.

We booked the Spatz after reading excellent reviews, we were not dissapointed. The staff were very helpful and as they state there was always someone on hand if you needed anything at all. As for the breakfast, loved the fact that it was served up to 11am, no need to rush around in the morning! Always plenty of food available and the scrambled eggs […] were lovely. The coffee also got you off to a good start!. The location was one of the main factors for us and again it did not dissapoint, really central for all the areas we wanted to visit, plus plenty of restaurants and bars. We booked a delux room which was lovely and spacious the only down side was it was on the top floor and with no lift (which we did know about) the 71 steps (I counted them!) were hard work after a day on your feet. I would not let this deter me from booking again, I would just request a room on a lower floor next time!!. Lees meer

Great hotel. Good size room - well decorated. Helpful staff. Good location - only a few minutes walk to the castle. Very close to lots of little cosy candlelit bars.

Hotel had a comfortable, clean spacious double room with nice decor. Only draw backs were lack of air-con for those hot days but standing fan provided in room helps and on the 1st floor the noise from reception and bar can be heard. Hotel is walking distance from the Jewish Quarter, Wawell Hill and not that far from the Old Square. Fantastic service […] - everyone was really nice and helpful. Ottima la posizione (nel quartiere ebraico dove si possono visitare le sinagoghe), a 2 passi dal castello ed a 10 minuti a piedi dalla piazza del mercato che è il cuore di Cracovia. Confortevole la camera. Generelt udemærket til at sove på. Værelset var med kaffe og tefaciliteter på 1. dag. Vi overnattede 4 nætter uden at kaffe, te og vand blev fyldtop - ringe service.

Vi tilbragte en forlænget weeekend i januar 2012 og var meget tilfredse med hotellet. Godt værelse, alt fungerede, central beliggenhed, særdeles venligt og serviceminded personale. Lille morgenmadsbuffet der kan udvides mod tillæg, god restaurant og bar på hotellet, med 4-timers Happy hour. Bei der Ankunft parkplatz nicht 300 meter entfernt sondern fast 1 kilometer. Kein Lift wurden im 3 Stock einquatiert. Der Heizkörper war kalt und dadurch im zimmer auch. Ich mußte selbst den Heizkörper entlüften. damit es warm wurde. die Dachfenster hatten keinen Vorhang , dadurch war es den ganzen tag zu hell . Hotell i utkanten av Kazimierz, Ett stenkast från marknadstorget ca 800 meter från gamla stan. Gott om resturanger i området. Nattklubbar mm. ca 1km från tågstationen. Enkelt att ta sig till med spårvagn. Hotellet har en ok pub i entrén. Något lyhört.

Bra läge, i de judiska kvarteren. Nära till mkt bra restauranger. Hotellet var fräscht och hade en bra frukost. Väldigt prisvärt.

Located in the midst of the jewish district lies Hotel Miodowa, which is just a 10 minute walk from the old town or castle Wawel. The breakfast served is a typical continental breakfast. Altough lacking in bacon and scrambled eggs at the buffet, these could be made if requested from the chef.
