Emerald Coast Inn And Suites in Fort Walton Beach

Oud maar gezellig hotel het ontbijt goed de staf was erg behulpzaam en de de kamer was van alle gemakken voorzien , we waren er 7 dagen en het is ons goed bevallen dichtbij het strand en winkels en de pier ,we komen hier zeker terug .

We were very pleased with the cleanliness and service staff of the hotel. It was very convenient to downtown Ft.Walton, and close to my mother's residence. We will be returning to this hotel again.

very comfortable, good view from 6th floor, staff pleasant, many amneities need updating, microwave in our room did not work, hair dryer turned on but would not stay on, only 1 ice machine

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Emerald Coast Inn! The hotel was nicely updated with new carpet in our room and fresh painted walls! Our room even smelled nice and clean! The service was great and the free breakfast had a nice variety. I would of loved some fresh fruit. We booked this hotel on the basis of the reviews we had read but we do wonder if we stayed at the same hotel as the reviewers. Our room had not been made ready for guests - the safe did not work (the service desk knew this already), there was no bath plug (they were not interested as we could still use the shower), there were no cups, tea or coffee […] provided with the coffee maker (we were allowed to collect some from the reception area), the wifi reception was very poor, and the breakfast truly dreadful. The hotel was at most half full yet we were not offered a replacement room despite all the deficiencies with our room. Perhaps the other rooms were just as awful? The worst part of the breakfast was not the poor selection of hot and cold dishes but the plastic knives and forks and paper plates. We booked a non-smoking room and we were given a smoking room. We were told that they didn't have any other rooms. We had to leave the door open the entire time we were there except when sleeping because the smell was terrible. Our clothes smelled like we were smokers. Also, they were out of coffee at 7am .

We enjoyed our stay @ the Emerald coast, convenient to eating and shopping. The fish tank needs to be covered in the back. there was a lot of exposed tubes and wires. Could be a hazard.

I recently just stayed at this hotel and it was great. Everyone was very nice and the room was very nice and clean as well. They remodeled a little and remove the hot tub and steam room but it's ok. Hotel was across the street from ft Walton beach pier, 5 min drive to destin. My overall experience at this hotel was excellent. Pricing was good =]

We went to Emerald coast inn with 2 other families. Hotel is in renovation status. Staff are great, price was great and location good, to close to corner where stop light is so traffic gets backed up. We have stayed here before and will again in the near future. beach across the street, with pier, beasley park and Gulfarium right there.

Nice location & a heavy breakfast. The hotel is still under construction but not an inconvenience. Some Spring Breakers were really noisy late Friday night, eventually they were asked by staff to leave. There's a lovely park within walking distance & the beach is across the street. I would stay here again.

This hotel is very affordable. I always try to stay here when I am in town. The hotel lobby is currently being updated.

The hotel was undergoing a face lift and redoing the rooms when we were there. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful though. We were given a newly redone room and it was very nice. Older TV but that's not important. Getting into the parking lot from the hotel could use a redo. It was tough coming into it from the east.....but alal in all not […] too bad. Over all the hotel, once finished, should be really good. The price during the remodeling is great!!! Hopefully they'll keep it comparable when they are finished. Lees meer

They were in process of refurbishing the lobby so I lost out on breakfast and couldn't use the gym. Enroute to my room I had to walk on a milldewed path to a filthy elevator. The plaster was actually falling off my room's wall! Thhe room smelled from the humidity. Next time. I'd rather stay on the beach.

The pool, spa, steam room were all being renovated while we were there and were unusable. The TV in our room had a horrible screen, discolored picture, green on one side. We had to go to a restaurant to watch the football game. No one answered at the front desk. I had to try 3 times and let it ring 10 times with each call. The breakfast was good.

Location is the only good thing being at the beginning of Okaloosa Island.

the hot tub advertised was empty and in the process of being removed.wireless network for the computer was down the first night. the hallways and the carpet in the room or dirty.

I had stayed there before they remodeled this hotel. It was a pleasant experience then and the improvements that they've made have only added to the experience. The staff was very helpful with information about the area, and the rooms were very clean and smelled good. We had trouble with the remote control for the TV and the desk clerk was there in […] less than 10 minutes to reprogram it. The area where the hot tub/steam room are is very clean and it was really nice to have that amenity since it was winter and we couldn't use the pool. Lees meer

I did not stay at the hotel. I paid for the room for out of state visitors. They were only in the room for sleeping. I understand that they were satisfied.

An older hotel but has been kept up and has many modern conveniences for the price. It is not a 3 star hotel by any means but was clean and served the purpose of a place to sleep for the night. There were not any lights in the hallway which was not a good safety issue since I had to leave before the sun came up and it was quite dark and hard to see […] . Lees meer

The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, was impressed by how friendly she was. The hotel was clean and I was satisfied with my room. On a particular note, was glad to hear that they let the pool stay open all night. Did have one issue with the web site and how it was presented. Room was very clean, beds comfy, Staff very friendly/helpful, great location. Only issue (very minor) is trying to make a left (east) across traffice. Would stay again.

This hotel needs a top to bottom overhaul. They do not lock the outside doors at night so it is open to the parking lot. The front desk is not open all night and there are multiple entry points to all parts of the facility. The wireless is free but slow. The floors were sandy and the linens were worn. The hotel advertises they are a green facility but […] the management paved every inch of the outside area. The surrounding neighborhood is dicey but shows promise for the future. It really appeared that the hotel was in the process af making it better. Our room had a moldy smell. the elevator was being worked and the fumes were terrible. on the sixth floor there was a sticky substance on the floor near the elevator that really stuck to your shoes. THe advertised breakfast fell short.

Best bang for the buck here... Room was clean, sheets were clean, bathroom was nice. For the amount of money, I felt like I got a nicer hotel then I paid for. Honestly, the only thing that sucked was the breakfast. Not to much to offer there.... But two queen beds, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, complimentary toiletries if you left any at home... […] RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE BEACH! Publix is a .5 mile drive... Close to the beaches and centrally located to get to anywhere in the Ft Walton and Destin area easily. The room was clean and the staff friendly. Yes the hotel shows signs of wear (carpets), but for the price, a very nice, clean, comfortable room. Continental breakfast is good. I would stay here again.

we stayed at this hotel for a week while on vacation for the first time in florida..the hotel was very nice and our room was clean too. they have a small pool but it was very clean and refreshing in the evenings and after a day on the beach. they offer a continental breakfast every morning in the lobby and gave us as many extra towels as we wanted. […] they also have washer and dryers, which was nice to dry our beach towels in..we will go back here for sure! good spot..enjoyed our stay

Definitely worth the money. Being on the main road, there was quite a bit of traffic, but nothing that would've bogged down my vacation. Within walking distance to the beach and right down the road from several piers. Very nice staff, and AWESOME breakfast.

This place was not clean and the service wasn't good. The only good thing was the location but nothing else...

The hotel room was dingy and smoky. The linens were not clean. I will not recommend this hotel nor will I stay there again.

the good: Great location, Great price. Had friends staying accrost street paying 4 times what we paid. The Bad: First night we were on first floor, don't stay on first floor!! very loud and did not get any sleep. They moved us upstairs and was much better. Carpet and rest of motel is aged, but for price, you can't beat it.

We were given a smoking room even though we had a non-smoking reservation, the carpet was very dirty and the room smelled like smoke. The breakfast wasn't very good and everything at the hotel was overall smaller than it appeared when I selected it online. Ok if you're looking for a value I suppose, but nothing outstanding.

This hotel was a good price and met what I would expect of said price. It was quite clean and the staff was pleasant. I appreciated the access to coin laundry facilities in the hotel. On the other hand you need to understand that it is what the price indicates. The beds aren't particularly comfortable and the walls are pretty thin, we could hear the […] television from the next room over while trying to sleep. They have a pool but it is on the side of the building right next to very busy highway 98. All in all it I was satisfied with it because it met my expectations. Lees meer

The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast is very good. The hotel is across the street from The Boardwalk, convenient to souvenir shops. Will stay there again.

this hotel did not have it all, but it did have breakfast and was more than comfortable enough since we weren't in our room much at all. we could see the water from our room and we could walk there in just a couple minutes. i would stay there again for sure. great place for the money.

We only had one complaint with this hotel. The carpets in the room are in desperate need of replacement. Everything else was great! The location is excellent and convenient to everything! The staff was SUPER nice and friendly. They even let us in our room 3 hours before check-in time. The maids were great and kept us clean towels and kept our rooms […] very nice and well stocked. The pool & jacuzzi was very clean. The FREE breakfast is hot and fresh and plentiful. You can make mini-waffles. They have hot sausage gravy and biscuits, sausages, fruit, bagels, toast, cereal, muffins, and apple, cherry and creme cheese danish', milk, coffee, juice, & hot chocolate. We would definetely stay again for the price but do hope they replace the carpets in the rooms. Recommend if you are on a budget! Lees meer

We were in fwb for a doctor's appt but I was quite surprised at the location & ammenities for the price.The free breakfast was good, but there was a crowd when I went down around 9. We will be back to enjoy the area.

Great location....free internet is always a plus! Nothing spectacular but great for the price! Only downside was it appeared as though people had smoked in the room even though it was designated as nonsmoking. Other than that, it was a decent stay!

My only complaint was that I requested non-smoking for the 2 rooms I reserved. When we arrived, they only had one non-smoking room available. They were very crowded, but I thought that when prepaying for a room 3 weeks in advance that they should have been able to keep 2 non-smoking rooms available for us. I would recommend the hotel with the condition […] that you double check that they have you taken care of in this category before you arrive. Lees meer
