The Luxe Manor ligt in het centrum van Kowloon, op loopafstand van Miramar Shopping Centre, Wetenschappelijk museum van Hong Kong en Nathan Road. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Temple Street Night Market en Kowloon-moskee en Islamitisch Centrum.

The Luxe Manor heeft een healthclub en een fitnesscentrum. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Dit hotel met met 4 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en een vergader-/conferentieruimte. Dit hotel voor zaken biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Gasten krijgen gratis ontbijt. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, hulp bij excursies/tickets en evenementencatering regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een conciërgebalie, meertalig personeel en een wasserij. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling parkeren. The Luxe Manor heeft 159 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluisje op de kamer. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via kabel/satelliet en betaalfilms. Alle kamers beschikken over een bureau, een gratis krant en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. gratis lokale gesprekken (hiervoor kunnen beperkingen gelden). Gasten hebben gratis (draadloos) breedband internet op de kamer. Elke kamer is voorzien van een waterkoker/koffiezetapparaat met gratis mineraalwater. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een weegschaal, kamerjassen, make-up-/scheerspiegels en een haardroger. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere pantoffels en openslaande ramen. Daarnaast zijn op verzoek voorzieningen beschikbaar zoals massagebehandelingen op de kamer, een strijkplank/strijkijzer en hypo-allergeen beddengoed. Een turndownservice is elke avond beschikbaar en een huishoudservice dagelijks.

Afgelopen maart (2012) heb ik met mijn zoon in het Harbor Plaza Resort City geslapen. Het is een prima en schoon hotel. De afstand naar het centrum is een dik half uur. Maar het hotel heeft een shuttle bus. De kosten hiervan zijn ca. 2,50 voor een enkel ritje. Ook vanaf de luchthaven kun je met een shuttle bus van het hotel naar het hotel komen. Kosten hiervan zijn 10,00 euro. Duurt ca. 3 kwartier. Prima geregeld dus. De kamer is schoon en de grootte viel me niet tegen. Goede badkamer met ligbad en douche in het bad. De bedden zijn wel kei hard. Dit hotel is aan te raden maar let wel op de afstand naar het centrum toe. Je gaat niet even snel vanuit het centrum terug naar je hotel en dan weer naar het centrum toe. We kunnen het hotel niet vergelijken, aangezien we voor de eerste maal in Hong Kongen op bezoek gingen; alleszins adembenemend zicht op de haven vanaf onze kamer op de 62e verdieping (hadden gevraagd zo hoog mogelijk te liggen) Ligging in de New Territories, doch wegens aanwezigheid van de werkelijk sublieme metro-lijnen en de goedkope taxi-service geen enkel probleem om alle interessante plaatsen in Hong Kong en Kowloon snel te bereiken; ontbijt nogal Engels-Aziatisch maar dat is begrijpelijk natuurlijk; mooi-ogend design in de badkamer niet altijd praktisch maar voor de rest prima kamer met kluis

goed hotel, eenvoudig te bereiken vanaf vliegveld met shuttle, spreken goed Engels, internet in lobby is snel en gratis, op kamer is wireless voor klein bedrag ook erg goed. Kamers zijn wat klein, maar voorzien van een heerlijke douche.

Het ligging van het hotel is wel afgelegen maar met openbaar vervoer is goed te doen. Het Tsing Yi shopping mall is niet zo ver van de hotel met de mini bus kom je in 5 min. bij de shopping mall.

Dit was de 3de keer dat ik in het USA hostel verbleef. Ik raad mensen aan als ze kamer 509 krijgen aangeboden proberen een andere kamer te nemen. De airco (Buiten) hangt onder een lekkende rioleringspijp wat stank overlast geeft als men de airco aanzet (behoorlijke last). Andere kamers zijn goed voor de prijs die er gevraagd wordt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

I ahve always stayed at the Luxe Manor since it opened (four times a year). However, last year I stopped going after I noticed a decline in standards. I decided to try it again this April and am pleased I did: with a new manager in charge, the hotel has restored itself to its former quality level. Excellent.

The staff were helpful and efficient. Our room was a bit small but very nicely appointed. We did not use any amenities other than the pool which was very nice. We booked, on line., and we're confirmed for 3 nights, but were advised, on our third day that we did not have reservations for the third night. The hotel was very acomodating, even tho they […] said that our room was sold, and allowed us to stay. We were very grateful ,as we were traveling with 6bags. Very nice! Lees meer

The first thing anyone would notice about Luxe Manor is its decor, which is referred to as "dada" and "surreal" in hotel literature. It's strange. Period. But the decor is a diversion from the substantial comfort and service at this hotel. Its location is pretty good--Kimberley Road--though it's a bit farther off Nathan Road than I'd like. The breakfast buffet is substantial and good, though the the room is hectic with guests and staff milling around, and the room itself lacks any elegance whatever. But the breakfast will set you up for the day, so a rate including breakfast is a good buy. The staff is a little less stuffy-formal than is usual in HK grand hotels, and it's a nice touch. This hotel appealed because it is not a massive multistory complex building that you see all over Hong Kong. It is a smaller, boutique, very classy and quirky decor hotel well situated for the tourist traveller. The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely smart - they knew what you needed before you even asked. We alighted from a taxi at the side door of the hotel and the concierge immediately dashed out to collect our luggages from our taxi. The luggages were then sent to our room directly.

Right off Nathan Rd, take a right outside the hotel and you can find anything you want from quality shopping to good eats. Great location with great tv, Internet etc connections . We upgraded our room to a bigger one as first one very small . Music loud at weekend until 1 but on second night it ended at 12 . overall experience was great. it is definitely a 4 star hotel. Some drama during check-in. we arrived very early in hotel and the staff had asked us to come back at 11am for early check-in. However when we are back by then, no room is available and staff did not let us know until we asked 1 hour later. I was disappointment as we were told to come back. […] Moreover, i have two children traveling with me and they are very tried after midnight flight. The rooms where a bit small , had trouble finding space to put suitcase. Also someone was smoking on a nonsmoking floor, they had to be attended to twice before they stopped. Good location close to the main road and also able to get to see the side streets. Transport system was within walking distance.

A very fresh hotel (even with all its kitshy interiors)with a perfect location. The breakfast buffé i superb and the rooms are clean but a bit small. Our room was not ready at arrival so we had to wait until 8pm for check in. Otherwise a very good stay! Highly reccomended.
