This is our second stay in the Alta Apartments, we were there for a month last year in September and 17 nights this September. We emailed the Apartments... prior to our visit requesting a particular side for our room with a corner balcony like we had the previous year and they were kind enough to give us the same room. It felt like coming home. The one bedroom apartments are spacious but a little basic but it suited us and we would go back again. The maid came into clean every day and changed the towels as often as we wanted. The pool is a little small and loses the sun on it around 4pm, but most of the time it was quiet and if we wanted more sun we went to a place the locals use called San Telmo which is a stoney cove but the sea was lovely and ideal for snorkling. The Apartments are just across the road from the Martinez which is the local shopping centre. It has a supermarket with very reasonable prices for food, drink, toiletries etc. Would recomend taking a travel kettle and mugs if you like a decent size cup of tea or coffee and a corkscrew if you like wine.
