We verbleven met ons gezin een weekje in dit hotel. Prima gelegen, vlak bij het airport en de car rental pick-up/return. Met 10 minuten zit je op de "Strip", met eigen auto of de hotel shuttle. DIT IS GEEN HOTEL maar timesharing. Je kamer wordt niet schoongemaakt, je krijgt geen nieuwe handdoeken of beddengoed. Echter één telefoontje naar de receptie en alles wordt gebracht hoe vaak en hoeveel je ook wil! Achteraf vonden we dit wel heel prettig want er komt niemand anders op je kamer. Verder kost internet wifi, te gebruiken in de lobby, $ […] 10,- voor het gehele verblijf maar dit werkt amper. Prima Hotel De Bora Bora suites, zijn prima! zeer aan te bevelen en met zeer luxe badkamer. Heerlijk Balkon, schoonmaak, linnengoed wisseling 1x per week gratis, dagelijks schoonmaak tegen betaling. Zwembaden prima, alleen in de lazy river. moet je de drijfbanden huren voor 5 dollar. Prenium Outlet om de hoek, Loopafstand, maar viel wat tegen, als Florida […] gangers. Heb dit hotel gebruikt als begin en eind van een kampeer vakantie om te wennen aan tijdsverschil en wat inkopen te doen. Zwembaden zijn OK maar je moet er vroeg bij zijn om met handdoeken de ligbedden te reserveren. Kamers ietwat luidruchtig. Heb me vaak geërgerd aan houding en gedrag van sommige gasten (vandaar de titel van de beschrijving). Goede […] deal met naast gelegen restaurant Denny's. De gratis WiFi werkt daar beter dan die van het hotel waarvoor betaald moet worden. Mocht ik nog een keer naar Vegas gaan, dan kies ik een andere locatie. Lees meer

In dit "hotel" boek je een soort van appartement en geen kamer. Je hebt wel een vrij grote kamer met keuken apparatuur e.d. maar moet zelf voor je koffie zorgen. Ook wordt je bed niet opgemaakt en er wordt niet schoongemaakt tenzij je langer dan 7 nachten verblijft. Wel makkelijk bij een Mall.

Wij hadden met een gezin met 2 kinderen dochter van 14 en zoon van 11 een dubbele kamer geboekt. Het overtrof echt alle verwachtingen ruime huiskamer met keuken en balkon met uitzicht op de Strip. Via deze woonkamer kon je de ouderslaapkamer in en vanuit daar de badkamer met wastafels bubbelbad stoomdouche en toilet weer een deur richting hal en keuken. Je […] kon dan via de woonkamer aan de andere kant de deur door naar de kamer van de kinderen met eigen zithoek keuken hal badkamer met wastafel douche en toilet.Dan ook nog de slaapkamer met t.v. en ook een in de zithoek woonkamer en ouderslaapkamer. Er is alleen zoveel te beleven dat je daar niet aan toekomt. Prachtige tuin met groot zwembad en een aparte lazy river waar je met luchtbanden kunt ronddrijven. shuttle service naar de Strip maar wij gingen steeds met huurauto omdat we al vaker zijn geweest en de parkeerplaatsen weten. ook niet onbelangrijk het outlet shopping center op loopafstand wel opletten met oversteken. Vliegveld vlakbij maar overvliegende vliegtuigen zijn niet storend in hotel hoor je ze bijna niet. Toch erg rustig terwijl er ook een drukke weg richting Strip langs loopt. Het fijne is dat je de drukte van de Strip kan opzoeken kan gaan winkelen of een zwembaddag houden. Doordat je een complete keuken hebt kun je bij nabijgelegen supermarkt zelf voor eten zorgen of keuze maken uit een van de vele eettentjes uit de buurt. Denny's zit naast het hotel en is niet duur maar wel van goede kwaliteit met vriendelijk personeel. Bij het zwembad en bij de lazy river zitten 4 a 5 badmeesters dus de controle is zeker in orde. Gratis badlakens en toegang met kamerpasje. Genoeg parasols en ligbedden en handdoeken die te lang blijven liggen worden weggehaald. Parkeerplaatsen langs het hotel en als die vol staan parkeren in de nabijgelegen parkeergarage. We hadden hier een 5 daags verblijf geboekt om daarna verder te gaan met de rondreis maar hadden het hier zo naar ons zin dat we tegen de autoritten opzagen die nog Lees meer

Dit hotel was alles behalve wat we ervan verwacht hadden. Jonge koppels of jonge toeristen zie je hier niet. Vooral veel Amerikanen/Mexicanen met kinderen die een lang weekend aan de rand van het zwembad willen doorbrengen. De kamers zijn verouderd. Very nice hotel but use only if staying 2 or more nights. You need at least 2-days to explore the entire hotel. Was disappointed that my room smelled of eggs must have been something that spoiled in the refrigerator. Besides the smell the room was very clean. Did not stay long enough to complain of smell. But over all very nice hotel / resort.

it was a great place for our graduation party

We had never stayed at this hotel before but had heard great things about it from others. We were a little taken aback at check in that they only had two representatives working on a Friday afternoon, but once it was our turn it was a relatively easy experience. We got to our room and were surprised to find trash all over the place. There were hand […] written notes and a ton of trash in the wastebasket in the bathroom. Fearful that they had double booked our room I called the front desk and told them and they said they would send housekeeping up. They did, and once she was there she made a few phone calls to see what happened and as it turns out someone had checked into the room right before us but didn't like it. Too bad housekeeping hadn't been made aware to check the room. Once that was taken care of we were pleasantly surprised by our room. The hotel grounds are gorgeous!! And the location to stores and malls is super easy!! The only other issue we had was when we went down to the pool for the first time and were stopped by security that we couldn't bring in our own water bottles. They said we could buy some from the bar area but that due to some new "Nevada Administrative Ordinance" outside food and beverages were no longer allowed. I can understand some of it, but c'mon, water?? We will stay there again but mainly just because it is convenient! Lees meer

We started out with a call to the front desk asking for directions and the person said she didn't know how to get from the airport to the hotel for us to get a GPS. After checking into our room and we finally got outside to check the view from our balcony we found a crack pipe there. Called to speak to the manager but were told they were not available […] and Security was sent to collect the pipe. We were told that the manager would be made aware of this and would contact us. We never heard from the manager. The next day we went down to talk to the manager "Mike" and he said he wasn't even aware of the situation and made excuse after excuse nearly accusing us that it was ours because the hotel has a strict regiment for cleaning their rooms or perhaps it had fallen from above. I was insulted and feel betrayed from a 4.3 star rating to find a crack pipe in a resort where clearly the manager wasn’t as appalled as I was. Lees meer

We really enjoyed our 7 day stay at Tahiti Village. We found having a kitchenette and fridge was very convenient for us as we could have our own food and refreshments in our room. The staff kept the grounds and hotel very clean. We really liked the barbecue area with 5 gas barbecues which were kept very clean as well, it even had a fridge and nice patio […] area. We had a nice relaxing supper with our friends. The resort offered a shuttle for a half day to Red Rock for only $5, which we really enjoyed. The shuttle available to us all day to go to the Vegas strip was excellent and the drivers were very friendly and knowledgable. The pool and lazy river was fun, but unfortunately we could not bring snacks and beverages in the pool area, the hotel advised it is due to new health regulations. They had a bar you could purchase drinks and they also had water coolers available free of charge. You could also order food from their menu. The outlet mall is just minutes away, we walked there very easily. We would definetly go back to Tahiti Village. Nice to have a nice quiet place to go back to after a day on the Vegas strip. The 1st room was in the 5th tower on the 5th floor and was quite a walk from our car. We are in our 60s and should have told to take a cart from bell desk. I had to make trips to and from bell desk in the wind to get and return the cart after taking our stuff to the 5th tower and up the elevator and down a long hall to our room. Then, after returning […] to the room, the smell of the carpet cleaner was "over the top" and I needed to use my inhaler due to an asthma attack. Housekeeping and maintenance staff told me that all room carpets are cleaned after people move out. Walking back to the front desk and asking this question, I was told no they aren't. So, I got a key for the 5th tower, 1st floor room and decided that it didn't have the overwhelming smell of cleaned carpet. However, this room was missing several items that I finally found on a list inside a cupboard such as coffee, teaspoons, kitchen towels, hot pads, etc. Our stay turned out okay, but the parking was a issue. People should be told that this complex is very large, spread out, and requires a lot of walking to the towers and then down long hallways from the elevators. Windows only open on the 1st floor. I really enjoyed My stay, it was close to things, the only thing that I would recommend they do is purchase new couches and chairs for the rooms as they are not in the best of shape, they were old and dirty. Other then that I found the resort to be a family resort. I will be back again.

We had trouble from the start when they put us in a smoking room. We had non-smoking reservations for 4 months but they still managed to mess that up. They then placed us in a hanicapped room that had no chairs, blankets, or bedspreads. When we called to complain they were not helpful at all. Then on our last night, the maid tried to barge into our […] room at 11:30 pm. We asked what she wa doing and she said we called for towels which we did not. What kind of a maid, just starts trying to open the door? We called to complain and they were not nice about it. My kids were so scared they couldn't go back to sleep. Then 15 minutes later after we all settled down, another maid comes knocking on the door to apologize, keeping us awake longer. We called th efront desk but they were unhelpful. We are not big Las Vegas fans anyways so this may not mean much to future visitors. We have been to LV many times for conventions and this time to a wedding. We were trying to stay close to the ceremony site but looks like we were directly under the flight patterns from the airport. Great for families with small kids. Not great if you want peace and quiet, especially at the pool. The kitchen-ette was the best feature of our room, the carpets were dirty, furniture older and dinged up. The free shuttle is nice if you don't mind waiting and walking a lot further to your destination. We had to take cabs all but once because there was […] one bus per hour with two stops on the strip & service stopped at 11:30. Loved my stay. This was a very family friendly atmosphere. I didn't feel like I needed to screen my kids away from the crazy Vegas night crowd. Was easy to get to, and the shuttle provided was very convenient.

We've been going to Tahiti Village for Spring Break for 5 years now, we love it! Major downfall this year: They no longer allow you to bring in your own snacks or drinks to the pool or lazy river, not even a water bottle! They have security at every gate checking your bags. Not a fun rule when you have little ones. We may have to find somewhere else […] to vacation, it was a big pain. They do have the Tiki Bar but it is very limited and expensive. Lees meer

amazing. stayed for a night in the suite mamazing room and pool

We stayed at Tahiti Village for only 1 night at the end of March because they were full. We had a cleanliness problem with the fold out bed. Management went out of their way to take care of the problem and hoped that we would come back. We have stayed there before and will stay there again in the future. The room was very clean and the customer service was excellent.

Two items that we were very displeased with: 1) upon arrival we were told about a $10/day charge for shuttle, tubs, etc. I said that we would not need but said it didn't matter. We had stayed there previously and there were no additl charges therefore when I booked on line I did not read all of the misc. details. Most facilities offer free shuttle plus […] paid for a day when we arrived at 8:30 p.m.- not necessary for that day. Believe that add'l charge should be included in base price - very misleading. 2) the building that hoursed our room had an extremely long hallway and only one entrace thus hd to lug luggage and walk far to get to room. Employees were very curtious, I really enjoyed my stay and will be back. You must get a massage while your there. Room was very spacious, mini apartment.

I have had the pleasure of staying at this property on several ocassions. I am pleased with each stay. The rooms are well kept, clean, and comfortable. The grounds are decorative and inviting, moderate in size (as compared to the big casinos), but growing. Ample free parking on the property. Located accross the street from a shopping mall of brand name […] stores and eateries. I was a member of this resort family (Time Share Owner). I found myself predominently using this property. A typical owner can only afford 2 weeks per year. The program charges you extra for more days. Using Hotels.com, I 've found that I can stay as long (or return as often) as I desire, and still save movey over ownership. Lees meer

While the Tahiti Village is very convenient to "the Strip" and to shopping, we couldn't spend all our time out of the room for which we'd paid. There is no lighting in the kitchenette, and with dark granite counters, it was very difficult to fix meals and/or wash dishes. The only place you could see to read was sitting at the dining bar. TV's very old […] and small; no TV channel listing in the room and not much help from the Front Desk in finding a listing. On our last morning, we discovered there was no cold water. Actually the faucets worked, but the water from both hot and cold faucets was near scalding temperature. Maintenance responded quickly and fixed the problem - it must happen often as neither the Front Desk person nor the maintenance man was surprised by our call. What can I say that was good? This is our second stay at Tahiti Village.We loved it.Lots of space with all the "goodies"eg.dishwasher,washer & dryer,etc. We love being off the strip & really enjoy being 1/2 block from the Las Vegas outlet mall. Also big bonus to be next to "DENNY"S" restaurant.

Excellent place. We always stay here when we visit Vegas. The rooms are comfortable, nice, clean, and the jacuzzi is open 24 hours. The free shuttle runs from the hotel to the strip every half hour.... another wonderful bonus

Have always been satisfied staying at Tahiti Village. This time, they ran out of the smallest suite, so we were upgraded. I could live there with ease. Was way too much room for our use, but maybe we will reserve it someday for a big group. This property does not let their rooms get tacky. Every 3 years they change out everything in the room. We love […] to eat at Denny's right there across the parking lot. They have such friendly people and are under good management. We like to be away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. This trip we took the shuttle from the resort to the Mirage. Then we took the "Deuce" bus to Fremont Street. My parents and I enjoyed this because there was not the hassle of parking. Great place to stay, clean comfortable, conveniently located on the south end of the strip, close to the Casino's but not in all the busy traffic of the strip, shuttle available to two strip locations, great swimming, outlet mall close by, nice gym, W/D available for use, good swimming. I actually got this hotel for my 18 year old daughter and her 19 year old friend who were visiting Vegas for a volleyball tournament and general merriment. I found out that she could not check in to any of the hotels with casinos because she isn't 21. I went to Hotels.com and was looking at a different hotel which I found out she had to be 21 to check […] in to also and the person I was talking to recommended Tahiti Village. My daughter and her friend loved the location and the hotel and they have a shuttle to the strip. They told me "You Rock" so I think they were pretty happy! Lees meer

This was a very clean, friendly resort. Only issue was that the pool closed early, 4:30pm even though it was early spring. For Vegas weather I thought it would have been open a lot later. Also your right next to the airport, but I didn't mind it! I would both recomand and stay here again.

The Hotel is amazing and I will stay there again if given the chance... But my whole party was extremely disappointed when the " heated pool and lazy river" was ICE COLD! This was the one feature that sold everyone on the idea of staying here. It seems that summer may be the only time to stay here if you plan on using the aquatic facilities.

Have stayed here previously and had a good experience. However, staff was not very friendly or helpful (did get better the next day). Concierge prices were higher than doing it yourself.

No room service, is not in the fine print, Same price per night if you saty 1 or 5 night but you would have to check out every day if you want beds made, clean room, towels, etc.

The resort is placed a little far away from Las Vegas Strip. I had to take a taxi to get Strip early in the morning or late in the night. For example, my conference began 8:00 AM. This increased the travel cost. There is a separate resort fee I was required to pay, even if I didn't make use of telephones nor activities. In fact, I didn't get any notice […] of the duty of paying the separate resort fee from Hotels.com, which is very unfortunate! The cleaning is not based on daily basis. Lees meer

No luggage carts. We were on the 9th floor and had to make multiple trips from distant parking. No Wifi . Had to go to the lobby to get internet service. Come on. .The lowest of the low have in room internet service The hallway had snipets of paper on the floor for 3 days. This is just not a good place to stay.

My husband has mobility issues so we took our own scooter to help him get around. The hotel has excellent handicap access and were very accommodating. The room was excellent. If you prefer a quiet location off the strip, I recommend it. The free shuttle van to the strip is also handicap-equipped. The only complaint is that the pool hours were 10-4. […] Checkin is 4pm, checkout 10am, so if you're only spending one night, forget it. But you still pay the "resort fee" for it. Lees meer

I booked this room during CES, the cost was quite high compared to the normal rate. The hotel was supposed to have WiFi available and since I was on business it was a key attribute, however, it did not work very well. In fact the front desk clerks knew it did not work well and directed me to certain parts of the lobby that "kind-of" worked. I explained […] that many of their guest that week needed internet and were on business and they said they would work on it. I tried this internet for four days in a row and it was never improved. One other key issue was the lack of cleaning. The hotel increased their rates for CES, but did not increase any of their service. Once you check in the hotel tells you that they will only clean your room once a week! They also tack on a resort fee to the amount you have already paid. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone on business or who wants to stay in contact with the outside world. Lees meer
