"Blue Water Resort in Nassau"
Very nice place, clean. Small beach, but perfect for family, and provided privacy everyone. My kids all had a great time in Nassau, and they loved the place as it provided home-like setting and comfort. I wished our villa was facing the beach or pool though, instead of the dumpster. "Stay at ur own risk-not a resort its a timeshare"
I went during spring break weekend never again this place is not for spring breakers. I will never stay there again my experience was awful. management and staff were rude and treated my friends and I poorly. "Rooms are huge"
Shocked to see how much space these units had. Three floors! Living space on ground floor, and bedrooms to sleep at least 6 on 2nd & 3rd floors. Perfect for family vacation. No glitz or glamour, but great living space for large group. Beach area was relatively small, hemmed in by concrete walls on both sides, but private and plenty to play in. "Blue Water Resort"
I would definitely recommend this resort to any and everyone. This was a family vacation for us and it was a great place to stay. We had a three story villa with three bedrooms. The space was amazing for us. Since the food in the bahamas is a little expensive, we bought snacks at the local grocery (a few blocks away from the resort) and had access to […] a full kitchen with all appliances and dishes. It was in the middle of cable beach near a few restaurants. The easiest way to get around here was the bus and there was a bus stop in the front of the resort. The only cons I would have to mention are the lack of maid service. We were able to get our towels washed daily but maid service cost extra. We did have a washer and dryer in the villa but we had to get our own detergent from the store. All in all it was a very convenient place to stay. It was also one of the cheapest places to stay on the island. I will definitely be going back and even taking a few more people to fill the extra space. Lees meer
"A Disaster made Right"
When my family of 4 arrived we were given a key from security that did not open the door to the room we were assigned so he had to go look for the correct one. When my husband and I entered we were dissapointed to say the very least. There were mold areas on the ceilings of every floor (3 floors), fixtures and cabinets were run down, dirt and grime […] built up around the door knobs and door frames to almost every room. The window screens were not well maintained...they looked as if they were often removed and replace and I'm not sure why that would be necessary. I went to slide the nightstand closer to the bed in the master bedroom and the light buld along with the fixture it screws into just fell on the floor. So I asked my husband to give me his lamp since he turned it off and unplugged his to put in his phone chargers but when he unplugged it in on my side it would not turn on again. The next morning I told the people in the office that we needed two new lamps and she said they would take care of it. After a day with the kids in the pool we all returned to clean up around 8pm and thats when the flood happened... Turns out the morning showers had started the build up of water from the master bath so when we went for our evening showers the water broke through to the downstairs laundry area and filled the kitchen. We had to use the same towels to dry the floor that we took to the pool and later bathed with because no one person/maid had been to our room to clean at all, nor did they replace the lamps or leave fresh towels. We contacted security about the water since it was afterhours. He later said the emergency maintenance person was not answering his calls. I called back down to security after waiting several hours and got the next shift security person and she at least gave us a huge supply of towels once she saw what we were dealing with. The next morning I marched into that office and told them the conditions in this room are unacceptable and how my issues were n Lees meer

The hotel room was acceptable; however, I was not aware that I would have to pay a daily maid charge upon checking out. I had to strip the beds and placed the dishes in the dishwasher. We did not receive clean linens each day, so what was the purpose for the daily maid charge!
