The staff at the hotel are all very helpful, friendly and cheerful. Everyone we met was very eager to help us. The grounds and villas were beautiful. It is a great location since you can see the fireworks at the Disney Parks from the property without the hassle of the crowds or the noise of the fireworks. What a beautiful place. My husband and I wished we could have stayed longer. From the moment we turned into the resort we were amazed at the surroundings. From the security at the front of the entrance to our warm welcome at the front desk we felt so special. We had a King Suite. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we slept like babies. We didnt' get to see the pool area as we wasted a day going to Universal Orlando (we wished we would have spent the day around the pool and taken advantage of the bike paths). My husband golfed one afternoon and I was allowed to go along with him, it was a beautiful course. At night the parking lot around the villas were full but we didn't hear the neibors next to us, the units were very quiet. We felt very safe, never did we see suspicious people wondering around like another review had suggested. This place is top notch, we are from Canada and if we go to Orlando again we will definately stay at The Villas of Grand Cypress. Just like another reviewer had said,'your in Orlando and huge city but you would never know it when you are at this resort, it's so quiet and private away from the hussle and bussle of the city'. The Grand Cypress is one of the prettiest hotels we've ever stayed at. The grounds contain an unbelievable collection of foliage, flowers, and trees. The view of the golf course - stunning. And the pool was fabulous. My suggestion: Go during the Florida golf "off-season" (hot summer months), and you will have the place to yourself! Off the beaten-Disney […] path, this hotel is quiet and serene. A great place to unwind after visiting the Orlando amusement parks (and is a stone's throw from Disney). Just one complaint: If you visit the pool during the hours that the snack bar is closed, bring your own towel from your room - they lock up the towels with the snack bar! Lees meer

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was nice to be a bit away from the Disney scene, yet close enough to enjoy all of it. The room was very comfortable and clean. A resort fee of $22 per night is not included in the cost. However, we went to the Hyatt pool as the resort fee allows and found it to be very fun!

Limited service to Disney and Universal and was surprised that additional room fees were billed at check out rather than included in the advertised room rate. Nice room, staff is friendly and helpful, but if you are interested in doing the parks - not at all convenient.

A real standout in a forgotten service..courteous, helpful, respectful staff . This property is a serene "oasis" in the middle of a mass tourist trade. Booked for comfort flew out the next day. Checked in at 6:00 PM for a one night stay and was hit with a $22 convience fee. When I asked what for I was told parking and the fishing pier????

My only negative is that the "in room wireless" is listed as a "B" format which it did functioned as; very slowly. This minor inconvenience was more than offset by the free upgrade they gave us. It was palatial!

We needed to find a pet friendly hotel and The Villas of Grand Cypress was one of the ones listed by Hotels.com. The reviews were great and so was the price, so we took a chance and we are happy we did. The staff was AMAZING, so helpful and courteous! The family and I had a great time. The room was perfect - plenty of space, view of the Disney fireworks, and fished off of the back patio. Will definitely return.

We got one of their Villas. It gave us a lot of space, two big bathrooms, a huge livingroom and nice kitchen. We used the free shuttle to Disneys transportation centre. Perfect! We could skip the car and all the lines for parking. The golf course was just awesome. Wonderful and friendly staff. No Internet in the room 4042.Charged $18 for it.The rooms are isolated in the bushes.A worker was sitting in front of our room at around 6-7 PM with a bag. Scary!

Property had computer system issues upon check in. Given incorrect bed type in error. Front line people did not want to disturb manager who was "hiding" in back room while other angry customers came in and went . Heater and air conditioner did not work. Room walls so thin could hear entire conversations in villas beside and above ours.

The location is prime and the Villas are spacious. Beautiful location in middle of golf course. Great service. Great price. Disappointment in hidden nightly Resort Fee we had to pay at check out which were not disclosed at booking nor check-in. Extra nightly charge for regrigerator and microwave really lowered the class. It was exceptional all around, relaxing, with amazing service. The hotel housekeeping was extraordinary. We made use of the Hyatt pool and lake, taking out a paddleboat. Really added to our vacation (5 days frenetic at Boardwalk Disney, and 4 days sophisticated luxurious comfort Cypress Grand Villas, a perfect blend). Only warning I would give is this: […] despite 1200 sq ft that can sleep 6 in luxurious comfort, there is only one bathroom, so if you're sharing with in-laws, adult kids and families, or however many generations you travel with, be aware that one and all will be trooping in and out of the one bedroom to access the bathroom (the other beds are sofa beds in living room areas). The staff was extremely nice and accomodating. The rooms are older but renovated and comfortable. Pool area was nice and even better that you can use the pool area at the Hyatt hotel down the street.

We were only there for 3 nights but I must say it was very enjoyable and cleaning staff were extremely accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

I felt mislead that the Villas was 1.5 miles away from the Grand Cypress Resort. I anticipated a suite with a separate bedroom, but the king bed and sofa bed were all in one room and did not have a fridge. The walls were extremely thin, you can hear full conversations from the neighbors and footsteps from the people on the second level. Parking was […] very limited. Probably would not stay there again. Fairly good location, but removed a few miles from attractions, and amenities were located at Hyatt hotel, rather than onsite. Was not real impressed by the room...similar to a regular hotel room, but no refrigerator or microwave available. Staff was very accomodating, but would not view room as a "villa" or "condo" .

We had a great time at the Grand Cypress, often times pictures online look better than the actual thing, in this case it was the opposite. The entire hotel campus was beautiful and tranquil. The villas felt secluded from the hustle and bustle of Orlando, plus we could see the Epcot fireworks from our patio, it was awesome!

Great quiet place with the kids after our cruise. Wish we could have stayed a little longer!

With such fantastic rates online, this vacation spot is a must see! It goes without saying that it is close to everything either Disney or Universal or Sea World. The villa's sit on 45 holes of Jack Nickolson Golf. They have a Top Rated Golf Academy, and great inclusions for guests. Included in your resort fee of $18 per night are the following... Bicycle's […] for adults and children, use of all facilities from the pool to the practice golf holes that are a par 5, 4, &3, use of the driving range, and don't worry about clubs, they will provide them free of charge. But best of all, is that you also get full use of all the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress facilities. From their lake and boats, the rock climbing wall, and their absolutely fantastic pool. With its waterfalls, and caves, and slides, the pool is a days activities all by itself. The Hotel is a mile down the road, and very convenient to use. We were in the pool there all 8 days that we stayed at the Villa's. The housekeeping staff and front desk staff were most helpful whenever asked for anything. and the Villa's provide shuttle service to all of Disney and back and forth to the hotel at your request. I had stayed at the Hotel a number of times, but never at the Villa's. Mostly because of a perception that it would be too costly, but at $107 a night for a club suite (mid July), it couldn't have been better. We had 2 double beds, and a pull out sofa, for 2 adults and 3 kids. At more then 600 sq ft, it was plenty of room. We even had a balcony, and a deep 2 man tub. I never do reviews online, but having been so impressed with the Villa's, it would be a dis service to not comment on our stay. Hope this helps anyone looking for future info... Lees meer

Good hotel, lots of room. I'd stay there again with my family. I didn't like the bugs and did see a snake on the grounds. But it wasn't enough for me not to visit again.

My husband and I enjoyed the serene setting and quiet pool area, but my teen children thought it was boring. The clubhouse isn't near the pool and a shuttle is required to get to the clubhouse or to enjoy the Hyatt resort hotel amenities. We thought the two properties were closer. The Club Suite was very spacious and had a very warming decor. The best part was that they allow pets and the suite has immediate outdoor access. Those who play golf will be equally pleased w/ this setup. I wish I had more time to partake in the many resort amenities such as the rock climbing wall, clubhouse, pool, bicycles, and the golf course.

This golf resort was beautiful and very quiet. You would never know that it was as close to Disney as it was. Every attraction was within 10 to 15 minutes away. Pool is large and quite with hours until 11pm. Staff was very nice and check in/out was very easy.
