Ramada Macon in Mâcon

Motel was convenient right off freeway, next to Waffle House. But after a long, hot day driving, it was seriously disappointing to find out the pool was closed since they are waiting for a permit. Had a view of the side and roof top of the main building. All other rooms except for two others had a view.

Hotel was OK just not necessarily a 3 star hotel which is why we booked it. Breakfast was alright but we got there at 9:20, hardly anything left but the staff replenished it when they realized more guests wanted to eat.

just needed a one night stay that was inexpensive w/ a clean room, wi-fi and breakfast...and that's pretty much what u get

made a last minute reservation from the road...just needed a few hours of sleep so we could get back on the road the next day. check in was very fast. we had a non smoking room on the 2nd floor. the king size bed was "more plush" than I would have expected in this price range with plenty of pillows and nice linens. the room was small but for my husband […] and i our basic needs were certainly met with this room and we would stay again. Hotel was located about halfway between Knoxville & Orlando. Room was great, hotel was easy to find, check in & out was easy, breakfast was good, room was great. Bathroom condition - not so good. Beds ok. Clean carpets - not really. But Convenient, close to the hwy.

We stayed here in the past and found it OK but this time was awful. Both rooms had rusted tubs with loose enamel chipping off everywhere. The sheets were stained. The only good thing is the breakfast. The front desk person said the "new management" was at fault and took now responsibility for anything. Will not stay here again!

Hotel was fine for the price. Room was clean enough and convenient location. Staff was nice and breakfast was good. Did have eggs and biscuits and gravy as well as standard waffles, bagels and cereal. Only wish was that the room was rennovated with more current furnishings as the lobby was.

We stayed at this hotel during our drive South. Besides the location being convenient (right off the highway), nothing else was appealing about this place. The neighborhood seemed unsafe. We just wanted a convenient, inexpensive hotel for a night to break up the road trip. The Ramada fit the bill. It was clean, easy to get to, and had a decent continental breakfast.

Front desk person named John was absolutely wonderful. Made my continually extended business stay pleasant. Chose the hotel for location and price, neighborhood not the best, housekeeping needs to vacumn and wipe down more, will come back and give another chance due to excellent customer service at check in.

The hotel was very ,Very noisey, people coming and going at all hours of the night. Had to call the hotel lobby to get them to go tell people staying at the hotel to quite down at 11:pm. the items available for breakfast were not a healthy choice. only fruit was bananas. Coffee was weak, like a 2nd cup through the grounds. Juice tasted like koolaid drink. pastries were terrible, no flavor, dry. waffle machine was not kept clean. overall disappointing. Any hotel with doors on the outside should not be rated 3 stars. When did ramada become a motel?? I didn't take a shower because the tub was chipped and old. Not worth $$! We were just sleeping over on way to FL.

Staff was very friendly & curteous. Only complaint is the bed was more firm than what my Husband and I are used to.

adequate for a place to sleep and get back on the road. receptionists were very hospitable. room was old but clean.

Dirty, rundown old hotel. Only one ice machine and it was broken. Carpets bare and haven't seen a vacuum cleaner in this century. Room stink.

The hotel's lobby was cloudy with cigarette smoke. We were given room #202. Room #202 had dirty floors (not vacuumed), water stained ceilings, unfolded towels (dirty???), and clogged shower/tub (filled w/ water while showering). The people walking around vehicles in the parking lot led me to believe that this hotel is being used for "out of town" construction […] workers doing work in the Hotel's area. The Macon Ramada was a very nice place to spend a night of a business trip close to where I needed to be. There was not the usual noise outside of the door to prevent sleeping. Needs a bit of maintainance work on plugins but other than that, it was fine.

Check-in was about one minute. This older Ramada is similar to all of the surrounding "motel" type of establishments. Everything was clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was good, the area was clean and well kept.

This hotel was terribly dissapointing! I have never left a hotel in the middle of the night (on that was already paid for).. because I couldn't bare the conditions. When we opened the door to our room a burst of heat struck us. It was already 88 degrees outside at 10 pm when we arrived, but this was like 100 degrees of pure heat. The air had not been […] left on even a low setting. The bathroom counters literally radiated heat. We turned the AC on Hi and waited 1 hour. The AC was very weak and the room was unable to cool. I only stayed one night so it was worth the value. My complaint is the roof was leaking onto the staircase in the rear not allowing you to safely walk down the staircase without getting wet. The water did stay a consistant temperature, unlike what previous comments stated (they may have fixed the water heater)

Close to all activities, check in and out went smooth, breakfast was convenient. Wish I had bigger towels and more of them but it was fine.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was nice.

The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the rooms were not in the condition that we was expecting. We found a roach in our bed when we arrived. We explained the situation to the staff on duty and they were very nice and understanding.

This is the third time I've stayed at the Ramada Macon. Mainly because it is a half way point on my 16 hour trip from Florida to Kentucky. I have not had any real issues with the hotel or the service until this trip. When I showered I was not sure if I was going to get scalding hot water or ice cold water from one minute to the next.
