Goed hotel, nette ruime kamers ook voor drie personen.Ligt wel iets buiten het centrum.

het hotel ligt direct naast de highway, is goed bereikbaar, maar heeft weinig last van het geluid. Ramen kunnen open en heeft horregaas. De lobby is ruim genoeg. de ontbijtruimte doet kantine-achtig aan, maar is efficient en kan veel mensen 'verwerken'. De kamer is ruim en de bedden zijn van prima kwaliteit. only complaint/suggestion would be to add black out drapes (thank god they gave eye mask as the light really shines through the windows in the morning) but also a lot of light through the bathroom. Had to sleep with the bathroom door closed. OTher than that very friendly service both at check in and at breakfast and clean room with lots of pillows.

Clean room, good breakfast, friendly workers and surprisingly quiet for being so close to the 40/73 highway ...

The hotel was clean and very well maintained. Unfortunately the hotel was under renovations which should have been brought to my attention at time of booking. Either the hotel or hotels.com should have informed me that there were no carpets in the hallways and that workers would begin work at 7am. When I checked in I had to sign a waiver that I knew […] about the work going on from 8am - 4 pm. I did not arrive in Quebec until after 7pm so my room was going to be billed to my CC either way so I signed the waiver. Then work began at 7am, not 8am. That was not particularly pleasant. The staff were intelligent enough to cancel work for the Friday after the Thursday 7am work issues and numerous complaints I suspect. During my entire stay, Thursday - Sunday, the hotel staff asked that all guests wear shoes wherever I went due to possible sharp debris in the halls. My daughter did not enjoy that requirement. On a positive note, the breakfast was very good and full of choices. the staff were very freindly and polite. If you subtract the carpet/reno issues the stay would have been great. Lees meer

Summary; this is a fine hotel if you don't mind staying in an area that is commuter/industrial based. pros; the staff were fantastic, the hotel is nice, very clean (they allow dogs and there was no evidence of this.......odor/hair/etc) , affordable if you're on a budget, easy to find, easy /free parking cons; it's out of the way with no walkable surrounding […] area, noise levels were annoying (bus load of school kids running in the corridors and construction vehicles working nearby through the night.........both may just have been bad timing on our behalf) Lees meer

the biggest problem is the proximity to the road, because of the noise. Apart from that the hotel is great.

A good hotel for a couple of nights, clean, with a good breakfast and friendly service. The only issue is the location, that is of course if you are planning on being downtown.

Welcoming, hospitable hotel that is accommodating to the needs of guests. I am a frequent traveler and have high expectations for comfort and cleanliness. Bamboo floors gave my guest room a very clean feeling, as did the pristine bedding. Mattress was firm and comfortable. Excellent heating and cooling system -- and a window in the hotel room opened, […] a welcome plus! Soundproofing between rooms is not optimal. Staff is friendly yet respects the privacy of guests. We stayed at this hotel because we wanted something fairly close to the city but didn't want to pay the city prices. It is only a 10 minute drive to the Old City and very easy to get to. Everything about this hotel was nice-from the customer service, clean rooms with all the amenities and a fabulous, free breakfast. Will definitely stay there again […] ! Lees meer

When visited Quebec this summer, me and my family felt very comfortable and home like feeling when we stepped into our room. Spacious , very well thought and well maintainted room. But I must say the appoarch floor to our room was smelly, may be it was the fresh paint. That should have been avoided.

We stayed there very recently and had a pleasant experience. It's value for money and more. The breakfast is a good spread too. There are a lot many restaurants for dining, around this place. The hotel staff recommended a good eating joint to us, which turned out to be really nice. We diffently would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Quebec it was very clean and they diffently provide everything you need they are close to everything we wanted and oh there breakfast was the best...very nice people working at the Dauphin we had a great stay..

While this hotel is not as cute or convenient to the walled city as some other hotels in Quebec City, the staff are very nice, and the rooms are great. They have free coffee and hot cocoa whenever, a pretty good breakfast, and they brought our dog treats and a water and food dish set on a mat. The room had a fridge, a nice shower (with a detachable […] shower head) and a microwave, as well as a nice sitting area, and with our dog we got a room next to the door to the lawn and un-carpeted floors (so no funky odor like other even supposedly nice places we have stayed with the dog). Over all it was worth the extra of driving into town, though if you were really committed you might be able to catch a bus or walk. There is a pretty good garage near the walled old town so parking was not an issue other than having to pay a little extra. Lees meer

It was not in the beautiful old town (fast food commercial suburb area) but very convenient to highway, and very handy for us to use with our dog. Dog bowls, treats and provided pet blanket were a nice touch. Loved the complimentary hot beverages and juice available in the lobby and the breakfast was great! We'll be back whenever we're in the area!

The only problem with this hotel was that it is right on the highway and noisy because of it. Our room did not have a bathtub, just a shower, but it was nice enough for our purposes. It is outside of Quebec City.

Nice hotel but no elevator. Excellent services of personnel. Noisy with trucks during the night. Very good breakfast.

Nice, clean, neat rooms with modernized bathroom and a PC for your convenience. The room floor is some weird laminate and the room color isn't that warmy, but overall the rooms are still very good. Plus, they give a nice breakfast (no scrambled egg), drinks (hot and cold) all the day and WiFi for free. The old city is about 10 minutes drive. Price well […] worth it! Lees meer

Loved this hotel - I travelled alone and was it very attractive to me aesthetically and was still very comfortable. Their breakfast was also quite amazing with a ton of different options! Would definitely recommend this hotel to someone else.

I stayed two nights at Dauphin Hotel the last time I visited Quebec. The free breakfast is really good; all people at the hotel are courteous and speak english. My next visit to Quebec I will stay at Dauphin Hotel.

Everything about the hotel is great! Very helpful and friendly receptionist - Kim, who introduced us to a couple of eating places around our hotel and provided us with detailed directions. The hotel includes a free shuttle to the old quebec city in the morning and return in late afternoon. That was really convenient. Good clean and cozy hotel. Staff were warm and quite helpful. Rooms were good. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were good. I would have preferred carpets on the floor. Breakfast was ample. Good coice. All in all a good hotel, I will come here once again.

I really liked the location and the fact it was easily accessible from the main road. Enjoyed the good breakfast as I had a meeting at 9:00 that morning and did not have to go find a restaurant. This hotel was extremely clean and quiet. All of the employees were very helpful and polite. The "continental" breakfast is much more than that! I was staying with my family, and the huge offering of breakfast was great to save money and time. It was a fantastic stay. The hotel rooms are very modern and clean. They even had computers in the room! I […] would definitely stay again. It was less than 10 minutes from Old Quebec, and it saved us approximately $100 a night to stay a little further away. Very good hoel and service. The recents renovations of the hotel made it very nice and confortable. Breaakest are very good, improve a lot. Excellent servie in Quebec hotel especialy in the breakest room. All is clean and very confortable.

I expect comfort, courtesy, and ease of use for any hotel I reserve. I got this and more. The extras include free use of the in room computer, free use laundry facility, a wonderful lobby sitting area with a gas fire place and free use of the coffee machine (includes hot chocolate, tea and specialty coffee), The guest room we had was a standard 2 bed […] room but it was very large, had a desk, refrigerator, and a lot of room to store our luggage and to move around freely. The staff is professional, courteous and friendly. They all speak French but also speak English. Many of them were fluent in English. Those who were not fluent either got someone else to help or worked it out with me. They gave me driving directions and even some ideas of what to see in Quebec. The continental breakfast is included in the price and it is more than ample. Toast, bagels, croissants, etc with juices, coffees, yogurts. They even have small containers of spiced ground pork (I am told it is a specialty of the area) that you spread on bagel or toast. Michelle was in charge of the Breakfast and she did a wonderful job of keeping the food replenished and the area spotlessly clean. Also she was very friendly. We were only a short drive from the port and old city or if we did not want to take our car the taxi's were affordable. Dunkin Donuts is next door for a more American coffee. Lees meer

Hotel was clean, in a good location, and had a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The only downside is that there are no nonsmoking rooms and our room had a strong smell of smoke.

We had a very pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfasts were wonderful, and even though the hotel is very close to a major highway, we could not hear the traffic at all. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located very convienently to two highways. It is ten minutes from the city center and they offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the hotel to the city center every day. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There are two great resturants in the neighborhood that are not filled with tourists. Would stay there again.
