The staff was super nice, very friendly and accomodating! The facility is a little older but it is kept in good condition. We go to the area every couple of months for a weekend get away to read on the beach and visit Calvary Chapel Ft Lauderdale so it works great for us. Will definitely stay again

The staff was very friendly, and the area around the pool was clean and kept up, but the room had a lot left to be desired. There was literally looseleaf paper taped to one of the windows to act like a "shade" in our room. We are not strangers to "budget motels" but it seemed like some of the rooms had long term guests (housing?), and we did not feel […] the usual safety that we feel when we stay in motels. I DIDN'T STAY THERE AFTER I CHECK IN AND SUDDENLY I DID CHECK OUT AFTER 30 MINUTES AND HOTEL TOO OLD AND A LOT OF NEED TO BE REPAIRED INSIDE OF THE ROOM - CARPET AND CURTAIN AND FURNITURE NEED TO BE CHANGE AND SMELLS

Its my first time i write review on hotels, but in these case I can't keep silence. It was one of the most terrible hotels I've ever seen. With horribly unfriendly staff ( we arrived at midnight, spend 20 minutes on the street trying to wake up the consierge, and he was very rude to us coming that late and not leting him sleep). Everything in the room […] was very old and doesn't work well. Toilet, conditioner was out of order. It was very cold in the room, the floor without carpet. Don't be fool with that sweet words about retro-style -It means that everything is just very old. The district around the hotel was strange -there were no people at all -neither tourists, no locals. I was in town to visit a friend, I wasn't looking for 5 star accomidations so this was fine for the need. The grounds are nice and clean, the rooms were clean and I saw the cleaning staff every morning. The mattress and the pillows were lumpy and in need of replacment.

Very nice and helpfull owner, rooms cleaned every day. Nice pool, tables and a space to sit outside and have a cup of tea or just relax on the sun. Hotel a bit old. Overall our 7 days stay was very nice.

Everyone there is very friendly and if We needed anything, they would take care of us. Will definitely be planning another trip to stay there. We felt at home. I totally recommend this motel resort. It's across from the beach and there are lots of great places to dine at.

Went to this motel twice a year for family vacations as a kid - coming back 15 years later found it to be as good as I remembered. Ownership may have changed but new guys are friendly and helpful. There was another set of owners in between the ones I remembered and these guys, who from speaking to some regulars around the pool didn't have a good reputation; […] and if you haven't been back since them I'd recommend giving the place another try, as a lot of work has gone in bringing the place back up to 100%. They had no record of our reservation and claimed they did not use Hotels.com as a service. It is a good thing that I printed and kept the prepaid receipt from Hotels.com or we would have been stranded for a night over spring break and out of our deposit. The toilet leaked, the refrigerator leaked, no filters or coffee or cups, just a coffee pot. Good location near the beach, clean pool. We had to argue with the staff just to get a 4th shower towel for our 4th guest. OK place for a family on a budget.

Ronny Dees is ok but you need to be aware that you are booking budget accommodation. The whole place is pretty ancient and could do to be knocked down & re-built. This was a good stay with accommodating management. Although it is older is was comfortable and clean. The pool was great with tables and chaises to gather and meet other guests. .the breakwaterhad a great piano bar andhappy hour. The hotel room was freshly painted but dated. Management was friendly and helpful and the cleaning staff were pleasant and efficient. The beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was clean. Around 3 pm each day, the birds would use the shallow end for a bird bath. Cute to watch. We totally enjoyed our overnight stay at Ronny Dee. Very retro 60's style decor, simple but clean and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Cross the street and you're on Pompano beach. Pool is excellent. Would recommend this little gem and hope to get back.

I had booked this Motel based on the reviews of previous guests as the majority of people couldn't praise it enough. I expected a quaint hotel, small and maybe a bit dated as it is a retro place. However, i expected it to be clean and in a good state of repair but it wasn't. We found our room to have a musty smell, will peeling and mouldy paint work […] especially in the bathroom. The door was as damaged and the lock had been forced open and not repaired. The window winders were hanging off and didnt work. I had booked for 2 nights and checked out after 1 night as the beds were so old and uncomfortable we couldnt cope with another night there. When we checked out the owner/manager didnt question why. From the reviews, i had expected him to at least ask why and offer to do something. We ended up checking into a Best Western further along our route. I should stress, i wasnt expecting the Ritz when i booked this Motel and did have realistic expectations of it being small and not a modern place. I expect kooki but not a poorly maintained place. The previous reviews do not tell the full story of this motel and were misleading. Lees meer

Expedia site stated there was a tiki bar and pets were ok. Neither of these is true. Office staff were great. Room looks like they just sweep around furniture and make beds. Dust is built up on all the blinds, closet doors, etc. For the location and age of the hotel, I believe it is overpriced by about $40 - $60. a night.

Room was very clean. Motel is extremely dated. Also no one available to check you in at the office after hours. You have to find the night manager (lives there) to get your room. I am a business traveler you just needed a place to sleep, so this again is an OK place to stay as the room was clean.....

I was prepared for a kitchy kinda place, but the hotel was in some disrepair. The bathroom fixture were not in complete togetherness. The handles on the windows fell off when I tried to open a window, the a/c struggled. Outside appearance was good & proximity to where I needed to go was good.

Ronny Dee's is a really cool restored 1950's retro hotel. Very nice courtyard with pool. Very nice owners. Can;t wait to go back! AL

Much as I'm tempted to give Ronny Dee's a terrible review, discouraging anybody else from staying there, so there's always a vacancy for me, I am more interested in the survival of this wonderful vintage motel, so I'll be honest: this place is a gem! Retro, to be sure, and maybe not freshly painted, but it's immaculately clean, with good comfortable […] beds, very nice bed linens, and the plushest, thickest towels and washcloths I've had in any hotel! Our unit had a full kitchen (stove, microwave, oven, refrig). Kitchen was tiny (only one person could stand in it) but there were full appliances (including an apartment size refrigerator) and one could easily prepare a full meal. The spacious grounds were freshly and beautifully landscaped, with brand new paver paths, a large grassy area with bbq pits, a good sized pool, and plenty of room for outdoor relaxation. And tho it's right on A1A, the outdoor area is all protected by a high fence, for privacy and quiet from passing traffic. Staff were very friendly (and I understand it's family-run). Our rate was very comparable, in season as it was. I inquired about their off-season rates, and it's a steal, April thru December! Neighborhood amenities are many and convenient. I would have given all 5's but our first room was sort of cramped. This motel is geared as a housekeeping motel, which we didn't really know when we booked it. There was a coffee maker in our room but we would have had to put the machine on the floor to reach any electrical outlets! They opened the kitchenette for us even though we hadn't paid extra […] for it, but at least we could make coffee and have coffee cups! We moved to a one-bedroom apt when it came available and we were much more comfortable with a full kitchen. Great location, right across the street from the beach access. Very quiet and homey. Dålig kvalité i förhållande till priset.Jag bodde på två andra hotell under samma period i Florida, Palm bay och Gainesville, tillsamma och betydligt lägre pris och mycket bättre klass på sevice och kvalité. Bl a bra frukost vilket saknades helt här.

L'emplacement de ce motel est très bien, tout près de la mer et des services. L'apparence du motel à l'extérieur est très correct. L'intérieur est propre mais salle de bain désuète et aurait besoin de rafraîchissement, exemple tout ce qui est jointoiement, la poignée de la fenêtre était brisée et n'était pas étanche. Dette motel ligger lige ud til en meget befærdet vej, så hvis du ikke er til trafikstøj skal du ikke vælge dette. Der er en hyggeligt atmosfære, og poolen var opvarmet. Ejeren bor der selv, så der bliver fulgt op på tingene. Jeg ville ikke ha noget imod at vælge dette motel igen, hvis det drejede sig om et par dage.

Der einzige Vorteil, zum Strand sind es maximal 200 Meter. Ansonsten kleine, dunkle Zimmer, sehr alte Zimmereinrichtung, es hat alles definitiv schon bessere Zeiten gesehen und waren auch nicht wirklich sauber. Die Besitzer sind dafür ausgesprochen freundlich.

Hotellet/motellet ligger väldigt bra till nära till det mesta om man nu vet att det är avstånd i Usa. Vi stortrivdes här och hade en underbar vecka. Ägaren är otroligt bra, gjorde allt för oss, ex han hade inga rum kvar men såg till att vi fick ett i alla fall något mindre men ändå bra.
