The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center in Virginia Beach

The stay was good I just didnt like that there was no mircowave in the room and the bed slialept bad. Other than that the stay was nice.

It's a great hotel. The location is perfect. The hotel staff was wonderful. Facilities were excellent!

The room stink it smelled like wet carpet on the entire floor. The service was spectacular but the smell of the carpet ruined my nights in the room. I don't know if I would ever stay here again and I do travel to va beach alot.

If there's a Westin I will definitely book a room. I love Westin hotels and this stay was no less than what I expected.

Their parking is part of a public city parking (although it's connected to the hotel). To this end, once the garage is near full (especially weekend), you can't get in. If you have a car, you'll have to find other place to park. Also, they won't clean your room if you have a "Do not disturb" sign on your door knob when housekeeping makes a round at […] around 12:00 noon. This cut off time seems much too early compared with other hotels of similar quality. Bathroom is very clean but has a small counter space. Very limited amenity (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and soap only.) Over all, it didn't feel like a 4 star hotel. Lees meer

The hotel fails to post they are "pet friendly". I was put on a floor where there were 3 barking dogs surrounding me. The room reeked of "wet dog" and urine smells. I asked to be moved, they moved me to another room only to find it was dirty and had not been cleaned that day. This hotel is nearby great bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had a great view from the 14th floor.

The friendly staff, and comfortable room made our stay a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend this hotel to friends for sure.

From walking in the door right straight through, a terrific hotel with outstanding personnel. The front desk folks, especially, but all - were pros.

I loved this gorgeous hotel from the lobby to the elevators and of course my room. The parking deck was awesome and every close to the lobby entrance. The room was very neat, clean and spacious I am absolutely going back!!!!

Great hotel really clean great staff and amazing beds. The rooms are huge and the staff is there to serve you and they are really professional . Great place for a day away with a loved one . Walking distance from the Art theatre and many great restaurants and up scale bars . I would recommend a stay to anyone.

Nice accommodations, good price and a great area. Plan to stay here again next time we're in Virginia Beach!

The hotel is in the center of the new downtown Virginia Beach. Modern style. Shopping and upscale chain dining (Ruth Chris, Cheese Cake, P.F. Chang, Gordon Bierch, plus more...) a block away. Had a great time. too far away for going to the beach but perfect for luxury business travel or getaway weekend. Was only upset the indoor pool was closed and […] thay charged alot for overnight parking. I believe it is the only pay parking in a 5 to 10 mile radius. Had I known ahead of time I would have left my car at pembrook mall (2 blocks away) or one of the dozen other lots within 2 blocks. make sure thay dont tow first. Really enjoyed our stay. Convenient to restaurants, entertainment and shopping. Hotel room was nice and comfortable. Looking forward to our next stay.

Great hotel. Really nice people. BUT HUGE parking problem. Incovienience but wouldnt stray me away from coming again.

could not sleep at night because the room was so hot and the thermostat was controlled by the hotel. We asked them to turn the air down but for some reason it remained hot the entire time particularly in the middle of the night. could not sleep with covers or anythnig else on because it was so hot and then you still sweat.

We were not at ALL impressed by this hotel. The price tag didn't reflect the stay. I have stayed at hotels that were half the price with much nicer rooms. Our tub was just a regular tub AND it was clogged. The carpet had stains on it and the room was small. My husband forgot his toothbrush and called downstairs to get one. The hotel had run out of toothbrushes […] the day before so we had to go to Kmart down the street. Take your funds and find a Country Inn Suites or even a Holiday Inn Express. You will be much more satisfied than we were at the Westin. Lees meer

hotel was great, one issue i asked specifically for a king bed..when i got there the clerk said they dont have any available, i found that hard to beleive there were no king beds in the entire hotel... i think when u book thru travel sites.. they automatically give u the worst rooms..but nice hotel otherwise

I was very pleasantly surprised by the high quality, pleasant staff, and convenient surroundings of this new Westin. Built in an emerging town center area, there were many options to walk to restaurants and remain close to our point of interest. The beach is an easy 10 minute drive. This hotel was very nice! The room was emaculatley clean and the service was excellent! The food from room service could use a bit more variety but it was good nonetheless. The best part of the stay was the amazing places to eat around the area! The room was comfortable, I will def be staying here again!

Stayed for the weekend with my wife. We booked a King room. We checked in, got the card keys and we entered a strange smelling, double bed room. I returned to the desk and the young man was much friendlier than the previous woman and quickly fixed the error. Our new room was the King but the toilet was broken! That was fixed while we were at the beach, […] fortunately. The shower was in working order, a relief after a day in the sun. The pool is over chlorinated and I do not recommend jumping in. Overall, the place is clean despite a smell that I can't quite define. Workers are friendly and helpful with the places to go to eat or lounge. Lees meer

I stayed at the Westin for a weekend, we really liked it. The staff is GREAT! The lobby / bar area is small. Also, I wish housekeeping would vacuum better. Overall, the hotel is clean and smoke free. I will stay there on my next vacation.

We've stayed at Westin hotels in the past. This hotel lives up to it's name. The lobby was warm and welcoming. The room was good sized and very 'heavenly'. We would return for a future visit.

Great location, surrounding area packed with restaurants and shopping. Only dissappointments were no robe in room as advertised, and no hotel directory inside room.

This hotel is located near a lot of fine restaurants and close to the waterfront. Outstanding service and cleanliness.

Top notch. Everything first class

The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and you can't beat the location. However, there were a few things wrong during our stay at this hotel and there are a few things about Westin itself that I didn't like. The toilet had a black film of mold in it when we arrived and the room phone, which was a cordless model, had been unplugged and so had no charge. […] The instructions for everything are on the TV, part of Westin's committment to "green" and though I applaud the idea, it would have been helpful for someone to tell us this and direct us to how to find the instructions. The staff at the front desk were nowhere to be found when we arrived... and only showed up after we waited for five minutes in a busy lobby. I asked about room service because it was late and the children were hungry, and the staff said merely that there was a menu "in the room." I'm pretty tech savvy, but I had to navigate through nine different screens on the television to access information on room service and wake up calls.... the information was not clearly labeled so it took a great deal of searching. The pay per view movies on the other hand were very easy to find and very easy to accidentally order. There is a coffee maker in the room but beware because you will be charged barista prices if you brew yourself an in-room cup of coffee and tea. Quite nearly everything in the that room was a la carte priced... I fully expected to be charged extra because we needed extra towels. The soda machine in the hallway is not refridgerated, but I suppose the fact that it is next to an ice machine was supposed to make up for that. In short, I felt the the service was on par with a budget roadside motel and not the quality service I had expected when booking at the Westin. I will not be staying here again, especially when there are a half-dozen better options within walking distance. Lees meer

I have stayed in many Westins and found the Virginia Beach Westin a disappointment on some levels. The lobby, bar area and fitness center were excellent, well appointed and pleasant. The guest room however had a peculiar, musty odor and appeared a bit worn with frayed carpet- not what I would expect from a relatively new luxury hotel. All rooms cannot […] have a fantastic view, but this particular one looked out onto the top floor, (uncovered) of the parking structure. We saw and heard many people and cars coming and going and they were quite close to our window, greatly reducing the feeling of privacy. The bed and bedding did live up to Westin's high standards and it was clean and very comfortable. I would stay here again with some specifications on location and condition of the room. Lees meer

This was my first time staying at this particular Westin but my stay was just as pleasant as all of my previous Westin stays.

It was wonderful and a great place to walk around downtown Virginia Beach.

Our last stay at the hotel wasn't as pleasant as the one before. Several pillows were missing on the bed, although the bed itself was as comfy as before. The hotel was more occupied this time and unfortunately there were a couple of very noisy disturbances from the room next to us which woke us up in the middle of the night.
