Hotel staff was very nice and the room was better than expected. Would stay at another Homewood suites again.

This was the best hotel stay I have ever had. The staff were very friendly and accomodating!! The room was clean and the complimentary breakfast was awesome!!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again because it is comfortable, clean, secure and the staff are so friendly.

We just returned from flying in and out of Norfolk for our holiday trip to Williamsburg, VA. We had an 11PM arrival time so it was too late to pickup our rental car. This hotel paid our cab far since it was too late for their driver to be on duty & then gave us a ride to the airport to pick up the car the next morning - nice. The staff and hotel were great. I would stay here again.

Stayed one night on our way to Christimas in Williamsburg, VA. Had stayed at Homewood Suites before and thought this one was nice as well. Son stayed in livingroom on sofabed - they are never very comfortable, but that's just the way it is I guess. Bathroom was very nice. Our family (2 adults and 3 children) spent 2 nights at Homewood Suites and thought it was great. The breakfast was spot on. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. My families experience at this hotel was nothing short of fabulous. The staff was kind and accomodating. Room was always clean and comfortable. The hotel ammenities indoor pool, gym, business center and FREE breakfast and supper was SUPERB! This hotel is a definite WINNER. It was a comfortable week's stay for us. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to freeways and major thoroughfares. The breakfast buffett is a plus, you get up and go downstairs for a hot breakfast. We would have preferred a different room location, cause what we got was overlooking the trash enclosure and on our first morning were awakened […] by the sound of the garbage truck pick up. wonderful room, neighborhood was decent and not to far from beach, however, only ONE elevator that everyone used.

Nice place. The people were friendly, the hotel was nice and at a decent location from the beach. Not too many complaints from me.

Aside from the apparent mis-match of neighborhood to the up-scale feeling of this Homewood hotel, we recommend it to all. Night manager apologized and compensated us ($25 Fridays card) for a door access card problem coming in late night; otherwise, trouble-free stay for 2 nights!

The staff at Homewood Suites was very friendly, the complimentary breakfast was delicious- and I appreciate how they mixed it up each morning. One-bedroom suite with 2 queens was plenty spacious (there were 3 adults & 2 kiddos in our group). The elevators are sort of small and seemed to be running extremely slowly at first, but it was Memorial weekend […] and appeared to be a full house. Later in the week the elevator situation improved. Went to VA beach for wrestling all weekend. We were 10 minutes from the Convention Center. The hotel was awesome and the staff were very helpful and accomadating.

I arrived to the hotel one hour earlier than the check in time; and the staff was able to get me in the suite right away. The room was a little bit small for 5 people but overall, I was very satisfied with the room

One of the best aspects of this hotel was the location. It's about a 15 minuted drive from the beach and the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk. It's great for people who want to visit VA Beach but not interested in the energy that comes with staying in one of the beachfront hotels. My only complaint is that the sofa bed wasn't made when the house […] service cleaned the next morning. The covers were simply pulled up, with the assumption, I assume, that it would be used for sleeping later that night. Well, the same could be said for the bed, but it was tidy upon our return. The hotel was wonderful and it would be perfect if you are visiting nearby family. But not far from the Beach itself. Tthe surrounding area is very residential, so wanted to be closer to the Beach area. but overall a very nice hotel.

The room was comfortable and pleasant. We are very pleased and will stay there again. The only thing wrong was the shower door wasn't sliding smoothly. I moved the door into position so that it wouldn't leak and used the only functioning door to enter the shower. I didn't bother to bring this to their attention. I'll let the next customer do that.

We live in Richmond VA orginally from up North, D.C and N.Y...Decided to enjoy local adventure to beach for anniversary weekend. Family oreintated yet cozy and romantic-like... Virginia Beach wasn't at all far from hotel, hotel was calm and quiet just how we like it...

When I arrived the staff was quick to take care of me. The only draw back was that one of the housekeepers was at the entrance smoking and talking on loudly on her cell phone. The elevator ran extremely slow but the room was clean,

Not only myself, but my family loved this hotel and we will return again. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants good service as well as a nice, clean hotel stay:) The rooms were excellent and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was awesome and I loved the pool/jaccuzi and computer room. Onsite laundry is recommended as well as the room […] service. Great location as there were many restaurants nearby. Very spacious room and a great value for the money.

The hotel was very nice, the staff was professional, rooms clean and parking adequate. The problem is that the hotel is farther from Virginia Beach then I was led to believe. Also the surrounding neighborhood is not the best. If you want value and a nice place to stay, I recommend it. If you are looking for convenient location, look elsewhere.

I reserved this room because of the great reviews others had left on hotels.com. However, I did not find the place to be as great as others had said. Although the hotel itself itself if very nice (and new), I could see it going downhill quickly in the future. A lot of the public areas (hallways, breakfast area, etc) were not as clean as I had expected. […] I did not see anyone vacummn them while I was there. Also, although some of the staff had on uniforms, but a few housekeepers looked like they were wearing what they wanted (t-shirts and jeans). Lastly, the sliding door in my shower was broken off the track. Just my opinion, but this was built as a very nice hotel, but I think some of the staff need to take a little more pride in their work. This was great! I stayed one night in a studio on vacation by myself. The studio was almost as big as my one bedroom apartment. The layout is nice. It is broken up into smaller areas and doesn't feel like it's just one big room. There's a separate kitchen area with a table, full-sized refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, microwave, and 2-burner stove--no […] oven. The bedding was nice--not your typical hotel bedspread that you want to remove from the bed without touching. It was a down comforter, and white, so you know it's clean. The bed had a pillow top mattress pad, so it was a little soft. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower--no bath tub, and a toilet. It's a nice sized room. Outside it was the vanity and sink area with a large mirror and counter, plenty of light, and a closet with mirrored doors. The room also had a love seat, ottoman, nice-sized flat screen TV and DVD player, desk, comfortable desk chair, wireless and wired internet (they provided the ethernet cord). It had a new feel. My room was a little bit dusty--I'm guessing that nobody had stayed there in a couple of nights, but there were no signs of someone else's dirt. I cleaned rooms in college, and usually feel uncomfortable with the cleanliness of rooms, but I felt very comfortable here. Dinner was complimentary the night I stayed, and sounded good, but I ate out. The staff wasn't, go out their way, overly friendly, but happily and politely answered my questions when I asked, and I was pleased with the service. I would advise using the privacy door hanger if you want to sleep in--housekeeping knocked on my door at 8:30am. I will definitely stay here if I am in the area again, and would definitely recommend it to someone else! It would be a great place to stay at for longer trips, or for business, and I also saw several families. Lees meer

Great place to stay-brand new. The maid does not wash dishes left outside the kitchen.

Overall, the hotel was great. The only disappointment I have was the pool and the jacuzzi. The water temperature in the jacuzzi was luke warm. There was not a button to heat up only an emergency stop. The pool's temperature was nice and warm. However, I didn't feel it was so cleaned.
