Goed hotel, prima service, erg klantvriendelijk, op de grens met chinatown. Oosterse hoflijkheid en correcte bediening in alle geledingen.

This place has huge rooms with TV, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Free continental breakfast makes it that much better.

This hotel was unexpectedly good. We stayed king size bed room. It was clean and spacious. Furniture was very nice, too. It is great deal considering the price.

Don't expect any sights from the window, or any usual amenities, but DO expect a great value for your money. Chinatown (surrounding area) really isn't that attractive, but the hotel itself is located within comfortable walking distance of a number of top toronto tourist destinations (such as those on the superpass).

The hotel is close to most of the tourist attractions and the surrounding neighbourhood seemed pretty safe. The room was clean and contained all the typical amenities. We really enjoyed the continental breakfast, always a plus, and the free Internet access. The smart card swipe elavator is a good idea, but it slowed things down for getting in and out […] of the building, but maybe it was just because it was New Year's Eve and there were more guests. We were in town for the ballet and some Christmas shopping. 6 girls, 3 adults, 3 kids and the Super8 had a giant room for us with a sofa bed. The parking garage caused some confusion as one of our vehicles was taller than the 6' clearance and had to be parked in a lot down the block. Also we had to take 2 different elevators to get to the hotel from […] the parkade which despite the inconvenience, made the hotel more secure. The beds were clean, the sofa had some stains on the cushions, but the bed itself was clean. The bathroom was generally clean but not immaculate. The front desk person was very efficient and polite, but extremely busy. He was kind enough to arrange a taxi that would accomodate our large group. Location was very central to downtown core and transit which made it very easy to get around. Shopping and restaurants were all within walking distance. Although located in Chinatown, the area was busy and felt safe with so many people around. Staff were very pleasant and helpful especially Zaeen, the daytime concierge.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Our room was good quality for the price. The hotel is located very close to some great authentic Chinese and Vietnamise restaurants within walking distance. Parking was a bit pricey. Continental breakfast was included. Very close to Toronto Western hospital.

Clean, Spacious, we were a pretty large LOUD crowd (There to go clubbin) No noise complaints.

Hotel is great and rooms are very large. Buy all your pop before you get there as all the stores in Chinatown don't sell pop for some reason and unless you want Chinese food (which is good) pick up food before u get there or be prepared for an adventure finding anything but Chinese food. Confusion about room but it was immidiatly rectified.

Great location, clean rooms. Only problem I had, Someone tried to get into my room about 1am. They had a key, but I had the door bolted on the inside.

If Someone is looking close to downtown and also wanna some good cheap option this is the hotel of your choice. Well the staff is mixed, I mean some were helpful and some werent. But overall the comfort level the location and everything worked for me. Its easily reachable by TTC and has good connectivity to other areas of downtown as well.

If you like China and the Chinese culture then you will love the location of this hotel. The parking garage was difficult to park in due to the low clearence for our truck. The breakfast was subpar at best.

room was clean and comfortable service was good . The only thing I thought they could improve was the continental breakfast .

There was no sink stopper in bathroom sink and the maintenance manager refused to remedy the situation.

I stayed at this hotel because of its close proximity to my appointment. Walking thru Chinatown was quite nice. The hotel staff were very accomodating.

Our smoke-free hotel room smelled of stale cigarettes and the sheets were dirty when we arrived. The sitting area needed cleaning. Otherwise, good service. Can't beat the location (proximity to downtown) and the nearby cuisine options (great Vietnamese restaurant on the same block open when we ventured out for the first time after we settled in late […] at night...and the place was busy). From the reviews that we had seen prior to staying at this Super 8 we were a bit disapointed as when we got to our room the tv remote control was not working and was told we had to go to lobby to get the batteries replaced, the walls were dirty with drippings on the wall - did not have a good night sleep as was up all night tossing and turning due to […] feeling the springs in our backs, then to top it all off there was no water pressure at 9 in the morning it was like leaving a tap drip - now try to wash your hair with that...parking was as expected for being downtown so for the price would not recommend... First thing know, the parking is just 3buildings before the hotel. Look for a small yellow and red sing with the 8. We drove around a bit but got cheap parking 2 blocks away. Had we known it was so close...oh well. Next the hotel is on a 3rd floor and the elevator system is not very rapid. Check in was easy enough. Our room was huge! Very clean except […] for the tub. Needed a good wash down with elbow grease not just a spray like the residue was telling me. Am breakfast is basic but I am happy with coffee and bagel. It is located next to Queen St and that is a great St to shop and eat. There certainly is a lot to do in the walking area. All in all the hotel was fine. Lees meer

Super 8 Downtown was a surprise -- quite a nice hotel, at a reasonable price. The hotel was newly renovated, and the rooms were clean and well-appointed. Reasonably-priced parking. Centrally located and close to many city centre attractions.

The hotel itself was decent, pretty good for what we paid a night... clean room and bathroom.. continental breakfast that was regularily re-stocked. My only complaint is that the front staff were not helpful, friendly or inviting at all... it felt like they were forced in to serving people.

We were trying to rest one morring when the maids would knot on door wanting to know if we were ready for them to clean. After that they didn't leave any towels or any bath supplys. We needed to call down three times to get bath supplys we were there four nights.

The room itself was OK, however the tub filled up during a shower. It was the location of the room that was the problem, just off the lobby. It was as if hotel staff, and check in guests were in my room all night long. Requested a new room but was told the hotel was fully booked. An air conditioning unit near by ran repeatedly all night like motocycly […] parked outside my window. I got, at the most, two hours sleep. The hotel deducted the cost of parking but could do nothing about the room rate. Will not stay again. Being downtown, on the main floor and overlooking the main street, there was a lot of traffic noice and pedestrian noise. Lees meer

Very nice hotel. Very convenient to all downtown sites. Only downfall was parking for us. We own a full sized van. clearance in the ramp is 6'. We parked just 1 block down however for rasonable rate.

good location with a lot of space, but there are alot of dust inside the room and we found bugs in the bathroom.

Clean and very spacious. Decent free breakfast of cereals, bagels, yogurt and juice/coffee included. Convenient location and good value for downtown T.O.

Hotel is located in the center of chinatown, toronto. If you like exotic mood in canada, it is good to stay here. The size and design of room is good. However, when I firstly open my room's door, it was not cleaned at all! I was upset with that, but they changed another room. the 2 star rating is way to conservative....the place is great, and parking was very affordable.

Very clean, and much bigger inside than what you see from the street. Very diverse and international clientel, including families as well on vacation. Location is great(walking distance to Kensington Market, Queen St. W, etc), and Chinatown itself is fun with great food and markets. Great value for the money.

This is an excellent hotel with large rooms. I had a 2-queen room, and the sitting area included a couch with a pull-out bed. Well maintained and clean, and was one of the cheapest I could find in downtown Toronto close to The CNE. A streetcar runs down Spadina to the waterfront and another one takes you right into the CNE.

Although it was brief my stay was great. I booked the 2 queen suite very spacious and clean complete with mini fridge and microwave. Location is very convenient in relation to the ttc, the streetcar is right across from the hotel. In all a very pleasant experience. I will be booking this hotel in the future

This hotel had clean, nice rooms. It was in the heart of Chinatown, so there were plenty of places to eat. It was a short walk to the Blue Jays game. Parking was available in the garage below the adjoining mall for a fee. There was a typical continental breakfast. The beds were slightly hard.

This was the nicest super 8 I've ever stayed in. It was in a great location. I was a bit worried after reading the reviews about the location it sounded like it might be sketchy. It was eclectic and fun. It was right on the end of Chinatown so Kensington market and Chinatown were both easy to explore. If you're comfortable and familiar walking around […] a city, then you'll feel comfortable staying there. We had a flat the morning we were supposed to leave, and the hotel manager called a service for us to help us get the tire changed and on our way. Parking was only $10 for the whole time if you didn't go in and out during your stay. With so many things within walking distance and the buses easy to navigate, the parking alone saved us a bunch of money. It's a great deal for the price and location. Lees meer

Has a lot of spare room for the 2 bedroom. Very spacious, quiet, and peaceful... It was close to a lot of downtown attractions! Close to nightclubs and a great place to sleep after a good party night! Definately would go back... Complimentary breakfast was simple and was good enough for free inclusive!

We found this a good hotel for the price paid, clean, on main road but no noise, friendly and helpful staff, in China Town loved the markets.
