Seasons Heritage Melbourne in Melbourne

nice. clean. no fuss. however, the front desk staff did screw up one of our subsequent bookings.

I am staying in several hotels in Melbourne and Seasons still a good option. They everything in the room. I believe they need more lights in the bathroom but this is a little exaggerated. The location is excellent, in front of the Tram, and close to several restaurant ina walk distance. I will be there back, defintely.

Expecting this to be a four star hotel, I was massively disappointed. There were previous guests' hairs in the bathroom, and the room walls were all marked, scratched and stained. Very dirty looking. The carpet in the corridors on the 11th floor hadn't been vacuumed in days by the looks of it. I made a mistkae of using the glasses provided for drinking […] in the room. I poured some mineral water from a bottle into a glass, and drank a mouthful. It was then that I realised there were white bits floating in the water. I looked in the glass and realised that an old drink had been left to evaporate leaving a white ring and film over the bottom of the glass. This was dissolving chunks into my water. I immediately threw up in the bathroom in disgust. I checked the other glasses, all of which were dirty. The cleaner had probably been rinsing them in the sink rather than getting fresh glassware from the restaurant. I complained to the front desk, after throwing up a second time, they apologised and gave me new glassware. I've never experienced such dirty and unhygenic conditions in any hotel, anywhere in the world. I will never stay here again and advise anyone who values sanitary conditions to avoid this place. Nice hotel but the standard room was very small. You could not move once you put your bags down.

The 1st impression was quiet good, but after a while, I could dedect traces from the guest before. Shouldn`t happend in such hotel.

I wasn't really impressed - it probably depends on the room. I booked a standard room which quite small. The white painted walls were quite scuffed throughout the entire room. The mattress was NOT comfortable to get a good nights sleep. The fitness center didn't open until 6am - asked if they could open it 30 min earlier but wouldn't accomodate that […] (me). The carpet in the hallways needed some serious vacuuming. Overall, the hotel is poorly maintained which is something that is important to me (and may not be to other guests). Personally it's my favorite hotel in melbourne, has beautiful view of albert park and beach, surrounded by beautiful parks. And all at a very good price.

hotel refurbed well, but standard rooms are tiny. Di pay quite and affordable price for room, but would of expected cheaper considering size of room

when booking this hotel, only importatnt thing was price, also location. appeared, that it was very good choice. you can leave your car to carpark and take only 10min tram-trip to the very centre of Melbourne. the room (or rooms actually) were amazingly spacious, with a small kitchen. this should be excelent choice for F1 -fans, as hotel is right next […] to the track around Albert park. we had nno time to enjoy all services, but it was absolutely good experience! Heritage reception building gave a homely impression to the hotel which was actually a high rise behind this frontage. Reception staff were excellent, gym good, cleanliness of rooms could be better and would prefer queen bed to double. Transport into Melbourne at the doorstep and close to lots of tourist attractions and Melbourne eating precincts like […] Chapel Street. Very nice and clean,modern and up to date. Nice friendly staff and very helpful. The location was farther from the center of town than we would have liked, but the Tram stops right in front of the hotel and was easy to access. Over all the stay was very good and comfortable.

The bed being a double ony was way to small for two people, you could not move without bumping into each other, a lot of noise from neighbours on Saturday afternoon and evening was a bit uncomfortable... otherwise great

There was hair on the towels when I first arrived, and the room looked nothing like the pictures. If there was a hairdryer and coffee supplies, I would like to know where they hid them! Close to tram stop for ease of travel so very convenient. Hotel room was small, but very comfortable with the use of kettle and microwave if necessary . Not many places to eat close by, but on our last morning found a little cafe on the opposite side of the side street beside hotel. It is hidden somewhat by trees on the pavement and not at all obvious. […] We just noticed locals going in and out.This serves very nice breakfasts and wish we had found it earlier.We would have appreciated the hotel alerting us to it being there. Superb location with easy access to city by tram, by bus, by taxi....with quiet neighbourhood and wonderful view of Albert Park and St Kilda beach at the background. Definitely my first choice of accomodation when in Melbourne next visit.

We stayed at the Seasons Heritage for 13 days. The Pros: 1. Staff was courteous and helpful. 2. Good gym. 3. Excellent location - Located on St. Kilda road right in front of a tram stop - very convenient for us to get around. Only 15 mins to the city, South Yarra or St Kilda. The Cons: 1. Housekeeping wasn't satisfactory: - a) Room was not dusted […] regularly - upon arrival, we found that the counter top, table, side table and kitchen drawers were dusty. I had to do a wipe down before unpacking or putting anything in the closet, drawer and on the counter top. b) Room was not vacuumed regularly. It was only vacuumed twice throughout our 13-day stay, even then, it was upon our request. Initially, we had to request for it twice before it was vacuumed. 2. No door at shower cubicle - the floor gets very wet every time we took a shower, and we had to wipe the floor after every shower. This is very inconvenient and messy. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Our experience would be much better if housekeeping was up to standard. Seasons Heritage have to improve on their housekeeping if they want to retain existing customers. We would actually pay a little bit more to stay at another hotel with better housekeeping, and better shower cubicles, if it were in a similar location. Lees meer

Good value hotel in between St Kilda (about 15 minute walk to the beach) and Melbourne CBD (about 30 minute walk) both of which are also well services by trams. Rooms were clean and comfy (although quite small!) and well equipped with microwave, fridge and all the bits and pieces you need to do some basic self catering. Recommended if staying for a […] little longer in the area as it's inbetween the two main areas to visit in the region. Staff very friendly and always willing to help. They will also sell you some tram tickets and add them to your bill; useful if you don't have exact change to buy on the tram itself! Our stay at the hotel was good,for the price we paid, the rates were very cheap but the service from the staff was wonderful and we were always greeted and the staff seemed very friendly and helpful. The room was quite small but we were only using the room for sleeping, and we had all the necessities that we needed. This is an ok hotel but I was dissapointed by the small size of the rooms; and the tv and remote didn't work properly - I had to call and ask for help as the batteries were flat. Also the location is a bit further from the CBD than I thought, but not too bad. However the rate was reasonable and the staff were helpful, so not a terrible option.

This hotel provides clean, quiet, comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. Staff are very helpful. The hotel is convenient to a tram line, with only a 15 minute ride to the centre of Melbourne. I would certainly stay at the Seasons Heritage again when I visit Melbourne.

A lovely little place to stay. Great helpful staff, local amenities good, tram on doorstep for accessing Melbourne or st Kilda.would stay again for sure

Overall the hotel was very clean and in a decent location. Only recommendation is that they install a full shower door to keep water from leaking onto the floor. The front desk sells all day tram tickets for $7 which is a good deal as there is a tram stop in front of the hotel and you can go anywhere in the city on that ticket.

I was very impressed with the value for money. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the room (apartment) was huge. The furniture was modern but comfortable and inviting. It had all appliances you could wish for and everything was extremely clean. It was very easy to get around by Tram. About 10 minutes from CBD and 10 minutes from St Kilda […] (Beach) with trams coming every couple of minutes. The 1 Br Apartment rooms were nice and well maintained. A bit small but very well priced if you are staying 3+ nights. Location is a bit far from CBD but being right on a major tram line mitigates that completely. Overall, very satisfied and a great value. Ignore the negative reviews. Location is the only problem here.

My wife and I stayed in Seasons Heritage Hotel Melbourne for 5 nights after a week touring the Northern Territory. I picked this hotel because of it's location and cost and because it contained laundry facilities. To our surprise our room was a fully contained apartment. Nice Hotel in a good spot, only thing is room and hallways are looking a bit tired, could do with a lick of paint and maby give the plastic flowers a dust, apart from that fantastic value in a great spot :)

This hotel thoroughly deserves its excellent reputation. I have stayed in some very expensive well known brand hotels and this is far superior. I have recommended it to my family.Look forward to my next stay.

Very nice room with all facilities, separate bedroom and kitchen. Only real negative thing was the capacity of the heater, even when ran on full effect all day and night it was not warmer than it had to be inside the room. Very good value for the money (we were wondering how much a room would be when the Formula 1 is in town). Rooms are clean, staff very friendly. We decided though not to eat in despite the menu looking really good too. We also did not use the gym which did look to be equipped well. My husband and I recently stayed at the Heritage Seasons in Melbourne over the long weekend. We had a three night stay and found the hotel to be fantastic. This hotel is undoubtedly good value for money and I would recommend it on that basis, this should be stated up front. However, the following points are to be borne in mind: 1. The rooms are small - if two people have a suitcase each there is not room to store both in the room. 2. There is a "kitchenette" in the room (kettle, toaster etc) but no sink, […] you have to use the bathroom basin for that. 3. On our first day there the room was not serviced. By the time we arrived back in the evening there was noone to help other than reception who delivered supplies an apology and an internet credit as compensation. 4. We consistently had to request additional supplies throughout our stay as insufficient were left for us. 5. Internet access is expensive (normal for Australia I understand) and wireless, but limited to one device only. Don't even think about hooking up your iphone, ipad etc. 6. Breakfast was poor quality and not value for money. 7. The hotek is outside the city centre but convenient by tram. It is about halfway to St Kilda. Other than this, the hotel was fine and,as said before, good value for money in a country where visiting costs are generally high. Lees meer

Covenient location, friendly and helpful staff - however the room facilities were sub standard. I travel every week for work and probably have lower than average tolerance for things not working. My air con and tv constantly required attention from staff. Staff reset both these things several times. The trams save this hotel. It's location away from what makes Melbourne so great, and at the poor standard of service it has, it should be thankful that it's patrons don't mind the use of trams. I've used this hotel a number of times for business and leisure, this recent time will be ours and my businesses last. We stayed 4 nights, and found the hotel to be very comfortable and well located with excellent public transport access (tram) north to the CBD and sporting precinct, and south to the seaside, St Kilda, etc - and easy walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in Chappel St. Prahran. A modern hotel in a good location offered at a good price. However, some design faults need to be addressed. For example, the air conditioning did not appear to work and the room was constantly cold. The glass ledge in the shower is an accident waiting to happen, as the shower is very slippy (room 1027) and the ledge is very prominent. Good location, right by the tram stop, room was a bit small, could be called cosy. Great facilities including gym & washing machines/dryers so got all the washing done.

The Seasons Heritage Melbourne is a friendly apartment-type hotel that in Melbourne is relative value for money. Great service from the staff. Parking is a bit troublesome due to it being accessed via car lift and parking and internet is a bit expensive, but on par with general Melbourne pricing.
