Beoordeeld door een gast van Hotels.com op 25 feb, 2013Wij bleken een master room met uitzicht geboekt te hebben. Normaal hoeft uitzicht niet zo van mij, maar in NYC wil je niets anders. Daar kom je voor. De kamer op de 37e verdieping was méér dan perfect. Er was geen lawaai, het was superschoon, het personeel was vriendelijk... Ik kan eigenlijk geen minpunt noemen. Nog wel een pluspunt: het hotel is om de hoek vanwaar de bussen naar Woodburry (shopping outlet) en het vliegveld vertrekken... 2 minuten sjouwen met je koffer: that's it!!

Dit bij alle bijzonderheden, etc. maar net iets verder, zodat je een rustige omgeving heb. De kamers zijn prima, als je er voor wil betalen. Er zijn natuurlijk ook kleinere kamers afhankelijk van de prijs. Het hotel heeft sfeer van vroegere tijden.

Vooraf hebben we de beoordelingen gelezen. We hadden begrepen dat de kamers klein waren en het ontbijt simpel. Niets is minder waar. Voor de mensen die ooit in Parijs zijn geweest, daar zijn pas kleine kamers. Wij vonden de kamer (kingsize bed geboekt) ruim genoeg. Het ontbijt was buitengewoon gevarieerd. De mensen waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Goede […] internetverbinding, handig om te skypen. Uiteraard moet je wel je eigen computer meenemen. Geen last van straatlawaai gehad, dit komt omdat wij aan de achterkant van het hotel zaten. Dit hotel is zeker een aanrader, goede ligging, 5 minuten lopen en je bent op Broadway of in het theater district. Voor de mensen die roken, op de 2e etage zijn uitsluitend kamers voor rokers. When we checked in the first night the woman at the desk checking us in apologized for the room we were getting, room 101! She said she would be able to move us the next night. We didn't realize what the problem was until we entered the room. It had an odor of smoke and mold and stained carpet. So we thought that was what she was talking about, little […] did we know. This room was right off their lobby and so all night it was So noisy! At 3am my husband had to go tell them to keep it down. Most of the noise was the front desk staff!! I didn't sleep one hour and we had a parade to march in and a long day ahead of us. The next night they changed our room to the 5th floor which was fine. We were so exhausted we could have slept on the sidewalk by then. For the money I could have stayed in many nicer hotels. We picked this because our group lined up for parade right outside of hotel. The hotel was a VERY short distance from Times Square and Broadway! It was also very close to the Port Authority, so when we arrived, we had a quick taxi ride to our accommodations. The lobby is extremely small, but we had a suite for myself, my two daughters (ages 12 and 10) and my mother. We also brought an inflatable air mattress. The room was tight […] for all four of us, but being able to split into the bedroom and living room made it reasonable. There was a horrible smell that came out of the air conditioner/heater in the bedroom and the room had an odor as if it had been a smoking room previously, but given the short amount of time we were in it, it was perfect. "Nice hotel"
Love the hotel and the location. It's just two blocks away from Times Square. The only thing that I don't like is the lobby because it's so small. People need to squeeze in in the hallway. Overall it's a nice hotel.Gecontroleerde Hotels.com gastenbeoordeling

"great place for family"
We stayed 2 nights, the location was perfect. Very accessable. Close to everything we had on our agenda. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. My family loved the breakfast buffet. "Great family hotel!"
We had a great time at this hotel. Unfortunately our room was tiny and our bathroom toilet didn't flush, but we were barely in the room so it didn't make a huge difference. I've stayed in NYC many times. This hotel was great. Stayed on the 8th floor and could barely hear the street traffic...unusual for NYC! Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms, although small, had great water pressure. Would stay again!Gecontroleerde Hotels.com gastenbeoordeling

Had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was the best I'd had at a hotel throughout my 6 week stay in the US. "Great option if you want to be near Times Square"
The hotel is in great condition, very clean and modern. I stayed at Hotel Penn my first night and arriving here after...was heaven! Excellent service from Maria at front desk and Randy taking care of our luggage. Good breakfast and the location was very accesible walking and by bus. "Perfect if traveling with 3 month old"
I specifically wanted a one bedroom suite in Midtown to compensate for giving up the bars due to traveling with our three month old. Baby could sleep at dinner and then in the bedroom, while we enjoyed bodega wine and snacks in the living room. This hotel fit our needs without the guilt of dipping into her diaper fund. Space was large and included a […] microwave and fridge on a long wall counter. One potential neagtive is that elevators are small and congested.
