"Overall nice place to stay"
We stayed in a king suite. It was a nice room. Very clean and spacious. It even had a portable fan which my husband loved. We stayed from Wednesday until Saturday. The swimming pool was closed until that Friday night in which we werent too happy about being my daughter was looking forward to the pool. The only complaint we had about the room is that […] the tv volume is preset and it was too low to hear. We had three adults and one child in the room. The pull out sofa had no sheets for the bed I had to call down and get a set, they promptly sent it up. There was only 3 towels in the bathroom and I asked that another one be put in when our room was cleaned, it was. The other days they only left three towels again. Everything was so clean from the lobby, breakfast area, rooms, halls, everything!! Every staff worker was so friendly & happy. Absolutely would go back!!!!!! Beds were so comfortable INCLUDING PILLOWS!! Most places, the pillows are hard & flat. These were wonderful!! "Nice but room for improvement"
Room air conditioner was noisy. Sink faucet dripped constantly. Early Sunday morning there was a lot of banging around from the housekeeping room next door. Housekeepers were loud with chatter & blaring tv noise coming from rooms being cleaned. Traveling from TX to FL on vacation. We chose HIE because they're generally the same and always meet our expectations. Our first time at this location and it wa a great choice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Apparently, we got the last non-smoking room available and it was a handicap accessible room, so we felt sort of bad about perhaps taking a room someone might really need.
