Prior to booking I read the reviws and there were several people that talked about the "dated" decor. Although the decor was slighlty dated I found everything immaculate. As a designer & home builder... I understand the huge finacial investment of "updating" to accommodate the latest color pallets. This was also the first Adult Hotel (no children allowed) […] that I've stayed in... I loved not having the screaming kids poolside. You're crazy if you don't stay here. About the only imperfect part of the experience was the relatively noisy in wall air conditioners. Extremely clean well appointed and fairly flawless. Truly a gorgeous hotel and cared for greatly.

Restful beautiful rooms, lovely grounds, we felt like we were down south. We walked back and forth to downtown for restaurants and shopping and concerts. It was a very relaxing tripa and we plan to return!!

it was very nice and quiet. Lovely grounds and setting. very peaceful. Was able to relax and not feel rushed or too busy.

Nice, well kept Motel in a good location. Rooms were good size with king size beds. Best of all is policy of Adults only which made for a quiet, peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend the Ashbrooke.

This hotel was a blast from the past! It has old key cards with the holes in them and older elegant decor. It was well maintained and the in room whirlpool was large and powerful! We went off season and the rooms were priced well for what you got! We had the pool ands sauna to ourselves and they stay open until 11pm which was awesome. Kind friendly […] service at the desk made us feel welcome right away! I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle. Free wifi but no phone signal in our room (this was a plus for me no work phone calls!) stay here and eat donuts in the morning time! Fitness and pool open early at 6am! Lees meer

Nice hotel, very convenient... but there was an odor of dead Japanese beetles that we noticed.

Nice place except when we went to use the jacuzzi tub there was a huge clump of hair in the water intake...and not hair from you head!. We noted that on the customer comment card. We weren't expecting to be reimbursed in any way but we were hoping for an acknowledgment of our note. That is why I waited 2 months to write this comment. The hospitality of was perfect and delicious muffins were provided every morning. I am concerned about this awesome hotel because it is in definite need of update. Otherwise it is perfect.

My husband and I spent Labor Day weekend at the Ashbrooke and were delighted with everything the hotel offered. The grounds were beautiful, the management was pleasant, and the room was clean and comfortable.

The service at the front desk was helpfull and friendly. My wife and I were very impressed with the grounds and upkeep of the building ( very clean). We are used to staying at chain hotels when traveling with our kids, so the elegance of the grounds and cleanliness of our suite was noticed and well appreciated. The pool area was nice and the pool was […] clean. The exercise room was the only disappointment about the Ashbrooke, the room was big enough but the equipment was very outdated. Our grande suite had a nice 2 person whirlpool tub, a two sided fireplace and flat screen tv, very nice. We look forward to another weekend away in Door County and a wonderful stay at The Ashbrooke. The staff and room were incredible. Such attention to detail and striving to make your room and stay superb. I would love to stay again and will in the future make my home in Egg Harbor at the Ashbrooke.

My wife and I got a 2-rm suite with a wonderful KS bed... slept deeply all 3 nights. Quiet surroundinigs, shops and restauraunts within waking distance and harbor is not far away by foot. Would recommend the Ashbrooke as an upscale 'retreat' to anyone. They provide a guest rate for Horseshoe Bay Golf Club but you can do slightly better with special […] coupons online. Lees meer

Superb in every area, from arrival to departure. Staff was courteous and professional. Services were timely and professional. Could not have been more satisfied.

My only complaint was the room was on the small side and there was no place to put suitcases. We had to bring in a small table from the deck to place one of our suitcases and use a chair for the other. Very clean place and kept up very well.

Wonderful hotel! We were thrilled to find out that it is an adults only hotel so found that added to the rest and relaxation we were seeking. There was a little problem with the in room fridge but it was promptly taken care of when we brought it to their attention. Only wish we could have stayed longer! We will come back!

This Door County location is perfect in every way. The Ashbrooke is convenient to restaurants, points of interest and shopping. The hotel is just lovely.
