Het is een prima hotel. Bij aankomst bleken ze echter een verkeerde kamer te hebben (met één kingsizebed, terwijl met twee queensize bedden was gereserveerd).schuld werd bij Hotel.com neergelegd. Op de reservering stond het goed! Één nacht een andere kamer gehad, werd weinig moeite gedaan om de fout goed te maken, de slaapbank op deze kamer moesten we zelf gereedmaken, terwijl zij aangaven dat ze het zouden klaarzetten. Later nog iemand uit gezelschap van kamer veranderd omdat de wc niet functioneerde, dit ging wel heel soepel.

Wij hadden een retourvlucht Dallas genomen en zowel na aankomst als vlak voor vertrek zaten we in dit hotel. Fijn zwembad om lekker in af te koelen. Goed ontbijt waar je bv ook wafels kon eten.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.
Speciale verzoeken kunnen, indien mogelijk, bij het inchecken worden ingewilligd. Hiervoor kunnen extra kosten worden aangerekend. Speciale verzoeken kunnen niet worden gegarandeerd.

We stayed at The Joule for a night as a last little "baby moon" getaway. The hotel and accomodations were very nice. I wasn't too thrilled about the location. We missed the valet the first time we passed and with all the construction and 1-way streets, it was hard to navigate our way back. Valet was expensive so we tried to look for other places to […] park. Turned out to be a better option to pay for the valet service. Our room had a horrible view. We overlooked the roof of a neighboring building that was under construction - unimpressed. Overall, we enjoyed our night away. This was a wonderful hotel to stay in while I was in town for a conference. The service was amazing and the room was extremely comfortable. I would love to get the chance to stay here again some day!

The bottom line was that we booked a certain level room ( bigger ) and they gave us the smallest room category in the hotel. When we tried to change it, we informed that the hotel was full. Little was done to try and resolve the issue. They 'claimed' the booking information did not come across as correct from Hotels.com. Very small room. Why I got a room with a round bed still baffles me. Nice room, but not one that I was epecting on a business trip.

The was the worst service I have ever had at a "luxury" hotel. It kept being amazed at how bad the service was and I am completely unsatisfied.
This is a luxury hotel, and so your expectations should be raised as well. The staff, room and amenities still were able to meet them. Great property.

Absolutely fabulous hotel! No complaints on anything. Great service from the time you pull up in valet parking throughout check-in to even the people delievering room service. Best place to stay in downtown Dallas.
"The Staff is the "Jewel" of the Joule Hotel"
I found the staff at the Joule to be very courteous and helpful. The hotel is quite nice, well appointed and comfortable. The pool is the center piece of the place although I found its small size somewhat limiting. Overall a great place to stay if your heading to Dallas.

Fabulous Hotel!! Very attentative staff. Upon check-in I asked where the ice makers where and was informed that there were none, however around 6:00 that evening room service showed up unanounced with a bag of ice and chocolates. Charlie Palmers steakhouse was excellent as well as pool side service.

"Great service, Trendy Hotel"
This hotel was clean, nicely decorated, and had great service. Our room was on the small side. Did not have the opportunity to swim in the pool, but it is definitely heated! The pool area looks gorgeous and the pool does indeed stick out at the edge of the hotel. Only negative point is, it is valet only unless you park at the meters in the streets a […] block away. You do however have in/out privilidges with valet for about 20 dollars/day. It's downtown, so it's kind of expected that you would have to pay this amount for parking. Lees meer

"Great Value"
For the price, this hotel exceeded our expectations. We live in the DFW area and chose The Joule for our Anniversary Weekend getaway. Since our stay I have recommended the hotel to several friends. The elevators were extremely slow though and we waited almost 15 minutes a couple times on Saturday when the hotel started getting busy. We were late for […] our dinner reservations so my husband ran down 10 flights of stairs hungover to secure our table at Charlie Palmer's on Saturday. Not fun when you're in a suit or for ladies wearing 4 inch heels. The pool bar was great when we checked in on Friday and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Good drinks. Not too crowded. Don't expect to go swimming b/c the water is too cold even for September. The hotel states that the pool is heated but it was ice cold during our stay. No biggy though b/c it was just as nice hanging out on the cabana beds. Saturday after we recovered from our hangovers we went back out to the pool bar to find it was very crowded. I think that locals can come hang at the pool bar even if they are not staying at the hotel. The only downside is that it can be a little crowded on the weekend if the weather is favorable. Oh yeah, get the kobe burgers or the cuban sandwich. Very good! Saturday evening we had dinner at Charlie Palmer's and it was very good. The service was great! I got the salmon and it was good but probably not the best thing on the menu. Appetizers and dessert were good as was the extras like a lobster corn dog. Then we headed to the PM Lounge. Guests of the hotel are welcome at the PM with your room keycard. Bottle service only at the seating areas so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to stand if you're just going to have a few drinks. Probably won't return to the PM unless I'm with a large enough party to justify pricey bottle service. The bartender was kind of a jerk. Just our opinion. At first the downtown location concerned me but this hotel restaurant and club/ lounge turned out to BE the center Great staff, comfy accomodations

Beautiful, fun, luxurious, and wonderful service. Definitely geared toward a younger crowd who will appreciate the pool/lounge/rooftop bar, as well as the nightclub on the ground (underground) floor, but not overrun with partiers.... definitely fine for an older guest, too. Great wine bar and wine cellar, wonderful service by all.

The hotel was as expected from a 4 star hotel. Unique design scheme...dark and intimate. Check in was a bit combersome though. They did not price match so I had to book on Hotels.com while I was standing at the check-in counter and then wait for 15 minutes until the reservation came through in their system. The pool is a sight to behold. It cantelevers […] off the end of the building on the 15th floor (or so) and has a 6 inch see-thru plexiglass wall for it's outer edge. Downside is that it is very cool and draws quite a crowd (lot's of hotel guest's local guests were hanging out there and taking up most of the cabana beds and lounging areas. It'a also right in the middle of the downtown clubbing action including which the hotel hosts one of it's own. So expect the hotel to stay very active through the wee hours of the morning through out the extended weekend clubbing nights. Lees meer
"Extraordinary experience"
The Joule is truly a destination hotel: the Charlie Palmer restaurant incredible, the architecture and amenities breathtaking, and the service impeccable. I regretted that the PM louge wasn't open on a Sunday, but I'm sure that would have been memeorable as well. I could have had a wonderful mini-vacation and have never left the hotel.
