This hotel was a very nice place to stay. The room was nice and kept clean during our entire time we were there. Close to the shopping area's and Columbia mall. The pools were good for the kids and nice to have an adult only time for the pool as well. Only complaint I have is the breakfast area is smaller than anticipated. The suites are great with separate bedroom & living space so you each have your own TV without disturbing the other person. The breakfast is included & is more than the standard continental fare - was a full breakfast. My only negative comment which is the case with almost every hotel is that the vents need to be cleaned more often for my liking. The […] air gets stale, dust mites & I end up with red eyes, running nose. Apart from that the rooms are very comfortable, convenient, well lit at night & I enjoyed the book borrowing library. Very nice, comforting, welcoming hotel. Great rooms. Large bathrooms. Great food selection for breakfast. Very relaxing.

Huge rooms, great breakfast, updated and clean. Wish I could have stayed longer!! The best hotel I have stayed in all year.

Very nice smaller hotel. I would defiently recommend staying here!

Location was real good. The bed was really comfortable.

Overall, a nice, well-kept hotel, but we did have a few issues. If you are a heavy sleeper, you will probably enjoy staying here. Our room faced the highway, and we found the engine braking of trucks to be annoying. The in-room heating system was loud enough to disturb our sleep. The room was spotless, except for a chair that had a bunch of crumbs […] and a line from the (ICK!) previous occupant's sweaty bottom. Best included breakfast we've ever had: Sausage patties, waffles, eggs, yogurt, cereal, etc. The fruit salad was frozen. The pool was warm, and there are two hot tubs at different temperatures. Our stay there was very enjoyable we would recomend it to anybody. Defenitely book again.

Hotel starting to show some wear in the rooms and in their services. Spider webs on the lights, hair in the corners of the bathrooms. Cheap toilet seats that look like the ones in public bathrooms, very hard to have little kids balance on them without almost falling in due to the opening. Breakfast in the morning has gone a bit downhill for selection […] and extras such as fruit topping for the waffles and flavored creamers for the coffee. Ok overall, just a lot of noise from above and outside in the hallway, food at breakfast was mediocre at best.

Excellent stay...clean...great breakfast. Nice gym (24 hours) & pool area (though very busy with families & kids when we were there)...they do have a time for adults only. Overall, very nice...friendly staff. Did run into one housekeeper who was obviously having a bad day & rolled her eyes when I got in the elevator with her & her cart!

Our stay was excellent. The hot tubs were fantastic after a long day of shopping and the pool was very clean. In fact the whole hotel was very clean, the reception area, gym area, games room, pool area, breakfast room and our room all very clean. There's coffee and fresh cookies in the reception area free of charge. The breakfast was excellent too with […] plenty to choose from: mini muffins, fresh fruit, porridge, cereal, toast, yoghurts, cereals, eggs, sausage, waffles, coffee,tea, juices - no way you'd leave hungry. If I had any complaints - for me the pillow was a little too soft, but that's personal preference. We really liked the suite that we booked. It had enough room and beds for my wife and I and our four children. There was a comfortable living area with a couch and chairs, the sofa also being a hide-a-bed. The hide-a-bed was a little hard, but otherwise the room was very comfortable. The hotel is convenient and clean. There was a big crowd there for the night and checkout, check in and the morning breakfast was not quite prepared for the number of people. Slowed things down but didn't ruin the experience.

Clean room, quiet, and good breakfast. We also were looking for a good place to eat that was not a chain and the staff gave us a great suggestion. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

The rooms were great, nice size the only things are the showers could use better shower heads as mine kind of went a couple directions, and the water was a little bit murky in the pool otherwise my stay was great.

The room was clean and large but was sparsely furnished.

the country suites and inns was at a very convenient location right close to lots of malls and other stores which is great because i love shopping!!

WE WILL DEFINITELY COMING BACK!

When I originally booked this hotel from hotels.com, I thought it was a hotel we previously stayed at, which we didn't really have a good stay, but decided because of the great price hotels.com offered, would give them another chance. However, when we got into Grand Forks, pulled up to the hotel we thought it was, and had a second thought. Looked at […] confirmation, and learned we booked at Country Inns, and we fell in love with it totally. Much better environment, and the charm is great. Excellent hotel... pool was warm and no crowds (we were there during weekdays), The price we got on hotel .com was more than comparable with others for the accomodations. Walking distance to mall and food, Breakfast was self serve wafffles to make you rown kind, and other options were tasty as well. Totally pleased.

Was in Grand Forks North Dakota for my son's graduation. I was able to get rooms at this hotel discounted by paying in advance. Absolutely wonderful hotel, breakfast, rooms, and just overall experience. Would recommend this hotel to any and all.

We have stayed here many times as we have 2 children in college near by. The breakfast has improved greatly and there are some healthier choices now which I appreciate. The hotel has always been quiet, however the housekeeping was marginal this time around (dirty bath tub; stains on the sofa and chair) . They did come and clean the tub right away. This hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the pool area was great. The kids pool was the best part for our 2 year old. The rooms were good size with flat screen TV's. There was not a lot of noise from other customers

this was a great experience. I had accidentally only booked one night on line and they were ready to accommodate us however they could. Staff did not seem put out by my mistake. Breakfast was fabulous. My only suggestion, make sure your room is not near the party rooms.

except for the too soft pillows, everything else was good and the front desk staff excellent.

i loved the Country Inn and Suite, non-smoking, friendly, casual atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable and loved the flat screen t.v., plus the microwave and coffee/tea/fridge, lots of storage space in the room, had some difficulty getting the right temperature in the room,.. had to keep turning the heat down. noisy neighbors above me, walking back […] and forth into the wee hours of the night. -will make sure I reserve a room next time on the top floor. get to the breakfast early, there wasn't much of a selection left at 9:00 a.m. Lees meer

Great place to stay. Has everything you need as far as hotels go. Great breakfast included. Close to all the shopping in Grand Forks. Will stay here again.

The stay was very comfortable, loved the pillowtop mattress. The bkft was great, many choices.
